It was time for a new foundation. I had been wearing, of late, Loreal Visible Lift which is a great foundation for the price. Before that I had worn Lancome and then Cover Girl Simply Ageless, my favorite of the group. But, I needed something for my dry skin and the these just did not cut it. I was prepared, even on my tight budget, to pay whatever necessary, to get the right, HG foundation for me. I was looking for a product with good anti-aging ingredients, super moisturizing, and mainly a product which would not settle into my wrinkles and had some luminescence to it. it could not be overly matte either because as we know, matte makes older skin look terrible. Had to have a glow to it but not look too shimmery.

I took a big risk buying this online, without going into a store to test colours first. So, I ordered online and took a chance on Beige. For a brunette, I do have fairly pale skin, but I tan easily. My skin can be quite oily, and I am in my late forties, so I wanted a foundation that might have a bit of lift in it, and/or that would cover my skin and any imperfections, but without drowning it in heavy product. I have been using this Elizabeth Arden Beige Ceramide Lift & Firm Makeup SPF15 30ml for about 2 weeks now, and it has become a firm (excuse the pun) friend and I will buy another one when this one runs out. Like many other women, I often find a very good (would never say I have ever found the perfect foundation)

As someone who has used Elizabeth Arden foundation for many years usually the pump action flawless finish mousse I was very interested in trying their new product Ceramide Lift and Firm make up as my usual product was no longer giving me the coverage I need. When I saw the colour was Vanilla Shell (02) I was not sure if it would suit my colouring. I am dark haired with a sallow complexion.It comes in a 30ml pot which is very lightweight so can be easily fitted into your makeup bag. On opening the lid, I was pleasantly surprised to see that the colour of the cream was not as light as I thought it would be, certainly not vanilla as I know it. Having had a colour match from a different beauty company recently and getting it wrong,

Dear Elizabeth Arden, I love this foundation in a jar. It's still the best product. However I've noticed that some of the foundation color shades have changed. The color has slightly been altered over the years without informing consumersI found out the hard way buying several jars. I use summer shade of cameo and in the winter, a slightly lighter shade of buff. My eyes surprised me. This was later confirmed by my department store make-up counter lady. My fears were confirmed that colors are slightly different than before.... I still recommend this foundation which is creamy yet light. I'm sure color shifted quite a number of years ago when the product packaging was changed to add ceramide and vitamins,

I started using this product a year ago after sustaning a nasty fall on my face during a run. I waited for the scab to form on my face before using the creamy foundation. It was thick enough to cover the scab and it blend well with my skin tone. No one at work noticed anything. After the scab fell off the new skin was very soft and pink. The foundation again cover the healing skin well where no one noticed anything. I continue to use the foundation since I got so many complements on my skin. I was so lucky that my skin tone matched perfectly with one of the shade they carry.When using the product on my face, I could not feel it. It just feel like I have a light moisterizer on.I like the container it comes in.

This comes in a pretty little pot with a screw top lid and an inner cover. A little messy; it's easier to dab a make up sponge on the back of the inner cover than set it down. That's the only drawback with it though. This evens skin tone and covers blemishes beautifully, without being overly heavy. I've worn it for both day and night, but it shines for day wear. I've just been round a garden centre in 27 degree heat and this never budged, nor have I caught the sun on my face through the SPF 15 which is not as heavy as I'd usually choose. It both looks and feels natural, doesn't require a powder, takes a highlight and a blusher well and LASTS! It's touch-proof, hasn't come off on my clothes,

I have this in “Vanilla shell” and it blends well with my skin since I've not yet got a tan. It will be a bit pale for summer. It’s rich and moisturising without being heavy or cakey. I have mildly oily skin and find that it keeps my skin looking dewy all day rather than oily.It spreads very smoothly over your skin and is fine to apply with your fingers as it just blends like moisturiser. It gives medium coverage so doesn’t cover everything. You do need concealer if you have any dark spots, but it does look nice and natural, just like healthy skin rather than a solid mask.The main downside is the price as it won’t last that long. I’m also not over keen on the fact it comes in a pot.

Elizabeth Arden is always a good place to start. Not too expensive and certainly not cheap and cheerful either. This particular cream foundation is a very light, slight pale brown. Would suit someone who is fair or even pale. It goes on really well and seem to be absorbed and cover really well and very quickly. Makeup goes on over the top without any problem and there's not stand out fragrance to interfere with perfume. You don't get a lot ... about a spoonful but then you want to use this it does cover very well with very little. I believe the shade is "05". This also goes on well not just with finger tips but with a brush as well. As for the firming quality ...

I am allergic to so many foundations, but decided to try Elizabeth Arden as my daughter has said it's good quality. So, it's expensive but I am amazed how far just a little of the foundation goes! It is light and very creamy & smooth. I'm not a person who does a lot of blending, etc, just wanted a decent foundation which I can wear concealer underneath where needed and a little blusher if I want to - basic but fine for me! My biggest problem always is having make up I'm not allergic to. I tried it on a day I wasn't going out and am delighted to say it's perfect. Very light to wear but good coverage.

I suffer with splotchy redness mainly on my cheeks and dryness and the ceremide lift and firm foundation covers it well and feels soothing on my face. There is no heaviness, it is easy to forget I am wearing makeup with it on. When I am wearing it, my face looks natural and smooth. Other foundations I've tried never looked this smooth and pretty. Best of all, the shade is a beautiful color match for my complexion and finally it is a color that does not look orange on me. The color is sandstone and it is my one and only shade that looks great. I can't say enough goodness about this foundation. Thank you so much Elizabeth Arden for this beautiful makeup that helps me feel pretty and confident

FOUNDATION===========It’s basically a liquid foundation in a little dispenser. And because of that it's super convenient to pop it in your bag. It is available in a few colours. Darker after the summer for me and paler in the winter.EVEN=====I was pleasantly surprised as it applies really evenly and looks flawless. It's not too heavy but gives a subtle airbrushed healthy glow when used with the darker shades.NATURAL=======It has a natural look. It looks nice close up too. Obviously the white isn't natural, but you can attain a natural shade with ease.TIP===I think a little investment in a sponge will pay dividends.OVERALL=======It's a fine foundation. An added bonus is the SPF.

I hadn't tried this before, I wouldn't normally wear foundation... but I was pleasantly surprised. It seemed quite dark in the pot, but went on smoothly and blended easily. It covered fine line around my eyes and made deeper lines appear less, without looking obvious. It wasn't gloopy, but a little goes a long way, and it felt nice on, not caked. Coverage was long lasting and I didn't reapply at all. I have worn it three days in a row, in unusually warm weather and it stayed fresh. It is more expensive than I'd usually pay but it is really good quality. The only reason I deducted a star was because it was a tad darker than I like.

I am in love with this. It's just such a lovely consistency, and gives exactly the coverage I need .. while feeling comfortable and long-lasting.It does feel like it has moisturiser in it - not as thick and heavy or cakey as some foundations can be. What I also love is that it doesn't have to be too heavy. It's just a step above tinted moisturiser really, which is what I usually use. The fact that it has added SPF is a real bonus - for those of us in a hurry (and who isn't these days) it's a godsend. Fresh out of the gym? Perfect. No time for the full face? Perfect.The colour I chose is also perfect - I think because it's quite light, it's easy to choose and for it to blend in.

I bought this almost a year ago and it’s almost finished. I can’t wait to buy a new pot. You only need a little bit. Two things I love about it most - the colour match and the finish, a high coverage but it looks so natural, I love wearing it to work. It applies so smooth I just use my fingers. For more glam looks I use a high coverage foundation but I always end up applying a layer of this on top and it sits nicely over other foundations. The texture is amazing. But I often wonder with other moisturisers and primers does it prevent the ceramics sinking in to the skin? The pot allows you to use every last bit, unlike bottles. A small applicator would be nice to go with

I wanted badly to try this foundation but had no idea what color to buy. I chatted with a nice young lady and told her what foundation I was currently using and what color. I did want it to be a tad less dark. I normally wear foundation in the tan family. She suggested cameo and I made the purchase. Girls, I am in love. It's a perfect match. I am 54 and this foundation hides ALL my imperfections. It is non greasy, creamy and does not sit in fine lines. My skin has never looked better and trust me when I tell you that I have tried almost every high and low end foundation out there. This is it for me. I am in love with this and do not need to try anymore.
