I had a bottle of this a few years ago that I'd bought as a blind internet buy and it went AWOL, so I bought a replacement bottle on here. Some people think low cost perfumes can't possibly be any good so they choose to buy more expensive, often very generic perfumes. More fool them! Elizabeth Arden have some great perfumes (Arden Beauty is lovely) at very reasonable prices and Splendor is one of them. It's a very floral / fruity perfume, fresh and clean smelling and it has very good longevity and sillage. It's akin to perfumes like Anais Anais and Estee Lauder Pleasures BUT, in my opinion is far nicer than either of those and less commonplace too, which makes it all the better!

I usually buy perfumes by Dior, Penhaligons or Chanel but I had been given a bottle of this perfume by my mother who chooses not to spend much on presents. I must admit I was quite disdainful about it so shoved it in a cupboard for a few months and then one day decided I ought to start using it up. I couldn't believe it when people started saying how nice my perfume was and asking what it was. One friend even went out and bought a bottle of it within the week. So, I have decided to give the other perfumes a rest and use this one. I've finished the bottle that my mother bought me and so have now bought my own - a big bottle this time. It is such good value and smells lovely.

Ever since the first trial, I have been restocking it. I have used it for years and years now. This is one of my top favourite perfume. Subtle sweet smell, refleshing, noticable without being over the top strong. Great summer light lovely smell, even better than many of the expensive ones. Well, don't even go near to the price point, for a big 75ml bottle at under £10, worth trying if you haven't, what harm would it do? But if you try it and you do like it like me, your perfume cost wil be turned way down - very economical product, yet doesn't smell or cheap, come with a reputable and proper brand name Elizabeth Arden! Well worth the price!

Fell in love immediately with it upon opening and have just sent off for another two bottles - at this price for a large bottle you can't go wrong. By the way, this is not on sale at the EA counters - I think it might be on its way to being discontinued. Hence, the reason I am stocking up. It's a light, pleasant floral smell, with the barest hint of lily, I think. Clean and fresh smelling. It's a winner as far as I am concerned, although scents are very subjective so, obviously, it won't be to everyone's taste.

For this price and for a large bottle as well, you might not expect good quality. However, Elizabeth Arden is a classic brand and you can't go wrong with any of their scents. This is a light, fresh floral, not cloying or sickly, just clean smelling. The bottle looks very pretty on my dressing table too. My only drawback is that it doesn't last as long as other perfumes, but for this kind of good value you can afford to squoosh on a few top ups throughout the day.

I don't usually get around to reviewing items but I'm so happy with this that I felt I must. I bought it on a whim having seen the marvellous price and figured that if I didn't like the fragrance it wouldn't be the end of the World as it was such a bargain in the first place. It smells divine! Sweet but with a lovely freshness to it, the fragrance aIso endures well over time. I think I've found a new favourite and would definitely buy again!

My sons brought this aftershave as a gift for their Nan who lives in the UK. Due to living in Ireland, and not being able to post liquids, purchasing through Amazon was a great option. Not only did they get a nice gift at a very good price, but the gift wrapping service and super fast and free postage is brilliant. We use Amazon a lot and are never disappointed. Nan was very happy with this fragrance and we would recommend it :)

If you think the cheaper the perfume, the worse it smells. Your wrong! My daughter brought this particular perfume & hasnt stopped wearing it since....She came home from school one day, and told me that she got trampled on by her friends who loved the smell of her!! She stupidly brought the bottle to school, nd came back with it half empty where all her girlfriends wanted to be wearin this fragrance.GREAT BUY

Bought this perfume by Elizabeth Arden for my mother on Mothers day. She loved the classy bottle and the smell is very nice- Not too overpowering! She adores "White Diamonds" by Elizabeth Arden so if White Diamonds is your type of smell, then dont hesitate to put in an order for Splendor. A great bargain price considering the quality of the perfume! I will be ordering another two bottles for myself now!

I’ve had this particular perfume for a number of years now so it’s an old friend. I love it and it’s suits my skin and I’ve had very positive comments on its lovely fragrance. It’s a light fragrance but it lasts the day. I would say that the perfume itself goes off before I finish the bottle, that is over a couple of years, only other fragrances I have do not - over the same length of time.

Elizabeth Arden, creator of fresh scented perfumes.I first met "Splendor" in a queue waiting to use an ATM, a lady behind me was wearing a beautiful fresh perfume, I asked her what it was, she took a pretty glass bottle with it's glass top from her bag, and sprayed my wrist!I was hooked, and purchased ever since.I particularly love the smallest size, ideal for handbag.

Lovely light and floral, lasts all day, great buy. happy to use it every day at this price.This is a small point but it's in a lovely bottle, feels and looks like a quality product as it should for Elizabeth Arden, I have read that other people believe these items are fakes..... I don't at all, every thing about this says real thing. I'm happy.

This is the only perfume where others say I smell nice!!! Like all perfumes, I can't really smell it on myself. I spray it on my scarf - especially silk scarves. It's a very nice floral scent - really pretty. I have other much more expensive perfumes but none of them last as long of get as much attention. So I stick with this.

As I've got older I find that no perfumes seem to last more than an hour on me - if that. But Splendour does last. And it smells gorgeous.Several weeks later: The first few applications were lovely, and lasted well. Now, not even the first spray from the bottle smells at all. Just smells like alcohol. I feel really cheated!

This is one of Eliz Arden's cheaper perfumes but I have bought 2 bottles for myself and several others for gifts! People have commented on the perfume when I have woren it so it is a winner! Id class it as a summer fragrance its nice and fresh without it being too sweet. I hope this helps other buyers when making the choice.
