I always use high factor suncream as I am blonde and fair skinned. A tan accelerator was recommended to me by a friend who swears by them. I can honestly say that this product does exactly what it claims. I used it for just over a week before I went away and took it with me as an aftersun. It is a strange looking lotion, but goes on nicely, soaks in quickly and smells nice. After 2 weeks in Greece in August I noticed a difference in my tanning in the first few days, I didn't burn even though some days I only used a factor 15 and I have come back with a better tan than usual. People have commented about my tan being a nice golden colour and my skin feels more moisturised.

I used it before, during and after my holiday. It is expensive as 125ml doesn't go far but my skin felt well moisturised and I didn't get prickly heat or burn like I usually do. Please note this is a skin treatment product only and you do still have to apply sunscreen whilst sunbathing. I put this on instead of aftersun. I would definitely purchase this again.

I always suffer in the sun with my skin, any sun brings me out in a serious rash. I used this for two weeks prior to my holiday in the Maldives. At no time did I have a rash (hurray). I got a tan! I always just go red and rashy then back to pale. I love tis product and will be using this in the future. I love it

I used this 2wks before I went abroad as I usually don't tan so I thought I'd give this product a go.It definitely did something,I wouldn't say I went brown but I had a lovely glow and had more colour than when I usually go abroad. I was pleasantly surprised by this product and would definitely use it again.

Quality product as expected from this brand. Lovely smell and easily absorbed into skin. I think for the price there are other products that just go that bit further, I ran out of this three days before sun exposure, and due to the price I couldn't justify a second tube.

I loved this product, easy to apply, and it certainly seemed to help my tan. I wish i had ordered it earlier, as i only had about 1 week before i hit the sun. i defo would order and use again before i go on a holiday in the sun again. Lovely smell too !!

I've been using this every year for about 5 years, before and during my summer holidays. My tan develops quicker so the rest of my holiday sun exposure reinforces my tan making it last longer. Strange colour but nice smell and skin is soft

Even though i do tan my legs take forever, used this 10 days before holiday and during my two weeks. It doesn't have a strong smell and nice to put on. I came home with tanned legs for the first time in years.

I have used this product for years. It is great I use my sun cream when away and never had sunburn since just s great tan. Use it for a couple of weeks before my holiday and never had a problem

Absolutely lovely - it certainly prepared my skin for 12 days in Crete. I used it for 10 days before our holiday. Came back with golden tan and no redness. Highly recommended. Quick delivery.

This does what it says on the tube. My only criticism is that 125ml doesn't go far which makes it expensive. If you want to gain a nice tan on your holiday then go ahead - it's worth it.

Used this for 10 days before going to Crete , on my legs and chest where I usually get heat bumps I didn't get any even after 10 days in the hot sun Would definitely buy again

Really like this product, feels nice on the skin and skin feels super soft and also my fair skin didn't burn when i went on hols! Its a bit expensive but i would recommend it!

Brilliant product, works very well. Best when applied for several days prior to contact with sunlight and for several days following this. Good price for an Elemis product.

Really helped to improve my tan but you still must use sun lotion. A little goes a long way and it lasted me 12 days on holiday. Didn’t use it before I left as directed
