If you're a fan of the Dragon Ball Z Budokai games (not the Budokai Tenkaichi titles) on the Playstation 2, then you'll love this game.Basic, simple 1 on 1 fighting action featuring many favourite DBZ characters, though of course due to it being a smaller format, it dosen't have the same amont of characters in it's roaster as say Budokai 3 or Infinate World, but for a handheld it does the job well.As well as standard Arcade mode, where you can collect Zenie (money) to spend on numerous random items in the shop. Dragon Road mode allows you to battle against opponants in a story mode to unlock items for the shop, new characters and new transformations for exsisting characters.

Shin budokai really surprised me as I started to play it, I thought it was just any other budokai game, but with th ability to move around your opponent without the need to dash, and the way you can pull out your ultimate attack whenever you want. Overall this game beats budokai 3 in my opinion, your opinion may be different.
