A clever design. In general I'm not a fan of a lens cap dangling on a string whilst I'm trying to use the camera, but this one attaches by placing the elasticated band around the lens itself, rather than tying it to the strap attachments. This means it is very quick to remove if it's a nuisance. The thread is long enough to be able to wrap the cap close to the strap attachment so as to stop if swinging around quite so much. Another plus over other designs, if you are really concerned about total protection, is that the thread attaches to the cap without putting a hole in it!I think I may prefer this cap when taking casual photos, such as when out with the family,

Fit well and stay secure. Good handling and good materials. By the price is an excellent deal. I recommend it
