this is a really SUPER day-pack! if you're looking for a regular backpack to haul loads of books and your laptop around campus, this is not gonna be your first choice- it definitely won't hold more than a couple of textbooks and a notebook or two, and the only size computer you could fit would be a netbook. I purchased this bag to use as a day-pack in Disney World, and it was the best I could have ever hoped for! I managed to catch it on sale, and really, it holds a lot more than you would think! and the secret sunglass pocket was big enough to hold my phone, camara, ipod AND my shades.

I loved the size & style of the bag, but the wrong print got delivered to me :( So I’m nervous to attempt to purchase again in case I don’t get the right print I selected. The washed palm looks beautiful!!! I ended up with an all navy blue. 4 stars because I can tell the bag is exactly what I was looking for, and the dakine products are the best!

Love the pattern on this rucksack. Nice size for a day sack and comfortable to wear. Only downsides are it is shaped and doesn’t have a flat bottom, is unlined and doesn’t have any small internal pockets for keys or phone. But overall is comfortable to wear and has two water bottle pockets which is really useful.

As always Dakine makes an awesome bag! It does feel a bit thinner then the last one I had but perhaps material has got better since 10 years ago :). THe side pockets are great for carrying water bottles and the size is perfect as a daybag with two young children.

I bought it for my 7 year old for his everyday school even though it is a skate board backpack and it is perfect for his size. It seems to be well made. It is small but still big enough to carry all his books and pencils box.

As usual Dakine quality is second to none. This is a good bag. Took it on a hike up Snowdon, Ben Nevis, and Scaffell Pike. It wears comfortably and held everything I needed. Great for the price.

Bought bag for university, has lasted multiple months with no where and tear. Straps still work for holding skateboard/snowboard. Complimented multiple times on good looks too (bag not self)

This bag is absulutly wonderful. Not only I can use it for hiking but school. I have a ton of textbooks that fit perfectly inside the bag. I recommend this to anyone.

Great, had one 10 years ago and only just needing to replace it carry my daughters balance bike on the back can handle a lot of abuse great day bag ( kids change bag)

Love everything about this, however would have went with a little bigger backpack. But nice if you need something smaller or compact.

Great backback for my first grader. Has held up great for the first month of school. It is a little big for her, but she loves it.

very simple. zippers work very nice and bag is very light. straps can fit a snowboard if needed.
