I use this bag every day. Extremely practical. I take it to work, if I am doing the food shopping. Carrying toiletries, books etcI love the bottle carry, I have a 1ltre bobble bottle which fits into this side section perfectly and it doesn't fall out when i run for the train hahaI also adore the little top section it fits my keys, oyster card, sunglasses and my lip vaseline. Great for when you want to grab them quickly and you don't want to rummage in the bigger compartments.I have used it as an over night bag too.. loads of space.I wish it was water proof and had a chest strap! then it would be perfect!! but still a great bag!

Durability has been good and I love the pocket placement, but wish they would change a few things.-there should be double zippers on all front pockets, not just the main opening. annoying and seems like the cheaped out on it.-disappointed that it doesn't have a key lanyard in the front pocket, or in any pocket.-the bottle holder side pocket should be a little taller and slightly wider to fit a full sized nalgene or hydroflask. only fits a narrow water bottle or very small thermos.the other side pocket should be a bit larger... too thin to fit much more than a flat object into and difficult to do that with the zipper placement.

This is one of the most practical rucksacks I own, and I own quite a few. I use it for work to carry files, paperwork, a laptop and odd bits such as phone charger, water bottle etc. I find there is plenty of room for everything without having to squash things and the various compartments mean that I can keep things separate. I purchased some zipper pull charms (Sesame Street ones also from Amazon) to help me colour code the compartments so I can remember where I have put things (very geeky, I know). I also find the straps comfy on my shoulders when the bag is full and heavy so this is another plus. I definitely recommend it

Everything about this backpack is pretty amazing. The only thing that I did not consider before buying was if the side pockets would be able to hold a water bottle. This backpack does not have this feature, so this is why I gave it 4/5 stars. It does, however, have the perfect amount of pockets. I can safely keep my laptop in there, as well as clothes, books, or any other miscellaneous items. Overall, I am extremely happy with this backpack because the quality is so good, and the price is bomb. To be honest, for the quality, this backpack should be around $60. It's that good.

One of the best backpacks I've ever used! I've used Dakine in the past, for backpacks for bulky items (ski boots) and couldn't rate it higher. So I didn't hesitate when I was looking for a backpack for my new Macbook, to purchase another Dakine one.Plenty of space for my Macbook and all accessories I carry with me. Comfortable to wear and I really like the added insulated pocket that keeps my bottle cool!I also managed to get this on sale, which was an added bonus. But I rate this backpack so highly that even at its full price, it's worth it.

The bag has many handy pockets and is lightweight when empty. The straps are padded so the bag is comfy to wear. The black bag is a little dull compared to the other brighter styles (but it was far cheaper!)A very practical bag and I would recommend to anyone searching for a backpack with separate compartments (it has pockets that I haven't even used yet!) Great for a day out to carry a picnic, or anyone with a small child who needs to be hands free - whilst still able to carry the huge amount of 'stuff' a small child needs!

I bought this backpack in preparation for my daughter going to high school. It looks exactly the same as the picture and has a lot of room inside. The quality is great, it has an insulated pocket to keep thing's cool and will stand out in a crowd. I am really impressed with this backpack and the price I paid and I also purchased the matching pencil case. I would recommend this product.

I use this as my work rucksack. Its got a great amount of pockets and fits my laptop perfectly. It has an insulated pocket which I keep my lunch in. Only down side is the grab handle is not very comfortable if you are wearing it for very long, it comes really high up the back of my neck to my head, particularly uncomfortable if riding my bike

Arrived quickly, have been using it for more, than half a year, i am 100% satisfied with it. In the summer i lived from it for more than 2 weeks - I love the plenty of pockets and the fact that it is considered a small cabin luggage, however it can "swallow" massive amount of stuff! Also very sturdy, and i love the overall design! Yaaay! :)

I love the dakine prom series backpack. It has lots of pockets, fits a laptop and wears comfortably. This is my second one from this series and the only thing to criticize is that the bottom is made of the same thin fabric as the rest so eventually it gets holes at the edges, limiting its overall lifetime

Very pleased with this backpack. Good quality and very roomy. The size 25ltr is absolutely right for me, I am in my seventies and find this perfect for me. Helping with grandchildren who are quite young it leaves both hands free to help parents or simply help carry the extra items needed. A good buy.

I love everything about this backpack. The sunglasses pocket at the top to the cooler pouch in the front. I use this as a camera bag that fits EVERYTHING, even my tripod. It's very well made and the material looks great and holds up well. Best backpack you can get for the price.

I must like it because I keep buying it. This is my 3rd Dakine Backpack in 12 years in this style with the cooler in the front. I use it daily and I've been really happy with it. It has loads of space, a padded laptop section, a cooler section in the front and plenty of room.

Lovely backpack with useful pockets. It has a sleeve in the main compartment for a laptop, plus plenty of space for A4 folders and more. A handy pens / other small bits compartment, and even an insulated pocket for snacks / water bottles. Very impressed with the quality.

Really high quality. This backpack is both super pretty and extremely practical. It's very spacious and it has a lot of pockets, and it's also water resistant. I've been wearing it every day for a year and a half and it's still good as new (see pictures for comparison).
