I had been looking for a backpack for some time before I found this one. I am quite short and so wanted one which wouldn't be the size of me. This bag somehow manages to fit more than enough stuff in while not making me look like a tortoise! It is slightly shorter than the men's version and doesn't stick out as far as a lot of other backpacks, both helping it not look too bulky.However, don't let that fool you into thinking you won't be able to fit much into it. I mostly use it to take my stuff into university and it will happily fit my 15" computer and charger, four folders, my lunch box, a large water bottle and my pencil case, with room to spare if I need to put my jumper/anything else into it.

Just received this backpack and I do love my Dakine products a lot as I already have a ton. I can't really tell how my snowboard would actually fit in this pack as others have stated they have carried it on here, but maybe I'll figure it out. Needs to be broken in a bit but otherwise looks like a solid pack for riding. I'll be using this to travel next month, but mainly will be used for snowboarding this next season. Love the color the orange is more of a burnt orange color for the zipper and buckles, but overall looks great. It has a lifetime warranty and never have had to use that yet with Dakine, but that's always a plus. The straps are pretty solid and very comfortable as well from what I can tell and noticed when I put it on today.

Perfect size for a day on the slopes. Kept spare goggles in zipped goggle pocket. There is an inner large pocket in the main compartment for a bladder or whatever you want to keep secure, for me my phone, wallet and a few other bits. The main compartment was large enough to take a ski jacket and a bottle of water. The outer zipped flap has various pockets for stuff. There is plenty of room. There are attachments on the outside for carrying skis or a board and poles. Did not use these so cannot comment on the ease of these. The only thing it needs is a helmet carry, so that you can take your helmet to the slopes without having to wear it. I knew it did not have one before purchase but it was not until I needed one that I thought about it.

Pack fits comfortably and has a fairly slim profile. So far it works well for why I bought it, in bounds lift accessed terrain. I have yet to use the ski carry straps for any actual hikes, but I at least tried it out at home to get familiar with how it works.I don't think this pack would work too well as a true backcountry pack as the pockets can be a little hard to access and there is no outer straps or pockets for a shovel or helmet so everything would have to go inside. Anyway as stated, it works well for why I bought it which is primarily in bounds and side country hikes.

I've had this backpack for about a month now and I love it. I had a dakine backpack similar to this for around 6 years and my friend accidently ruined it so I had to buy a new one! When I was looking through the black colored backpack photos I noticed that some of the photos didn't quite match, but the backpack is colored black with some grey highlights. Its great quality and I love how light it is. It's going to last me years!

This is a great pack to use outdoors. My primary uses are skiing and hiking with it. Holds a Camelback 2L with no issues along with extra gear (socks, gloves, base layer, etc.). My only (very slight) complaint is that I wish the laptop area were a slight bit bigger since it isn't padded. I have a 15" Macbook Pro and it doesn't really fit well if I try to put it in a lightly padded laptop sleeve to use while traveling.

Got this for the Park City trip. Temp was at around 35F, the bp didn't cause any sweat on the back. Had 3 single liter bottles among other small essential items in there. The goggle compartment is lined with velvety material, and holds my Smith IO goggle "OKAY" (a bit tight, but still manages to close). Overall, the bp is perfectly sized. Would be perfect if the excess strap length can be organized.

First of all, I am a great fan of Dakine and I have around 6 of their bags so far. This one is no different in terms of build quality and looks. The design is really nice with a weathered old effect and there is tonnes of space in the bag. One good feature is that the zips on the main section come right around the edge so you can fit more into the bag.

Such an awesome backpack. Was perfect for our family skiing adventure a few weeks ago when it was still cold; now I use it primarily during busy days when I need extra storage to get around from meeting to meeting. Great and durable backpack with a solid build and a number of useful compartments -- plus, a cool look, too!

I like the bag. Slightly smaller than last years version...just one major fault! When putting your kit & lap top in it, the padded back panel folds under the bottom of the bag. This is due to bottom of the bag being so narrow. Otherwise everything else about the bag s great!

Great quality, will be perfect for skiing. This bag is a bit pricy for what it is, but there seems to be a small market for ski packs at least on amazon- every other ski bag is either huge or designed to carry boots, which is not what you want on the slopes

Good rucksack for skiing. I've used it 3 seasons now, and have not needed all its functionality, but for days on the slopes it is more than enough. I guess this is really for off-piste skiers when it would really come into its own.

We needed a bag for skiing and wanted a Dakine but didn't like prices we saw until we found this one. Great deal, sturdy, had enough room to hold both my husband and my supplies, high quality and we loved the sporty color scheme.

I love this brand this is an awesome/ durable/ take anywhere bag that is very comfortable. I've taken mine to over 35 countries over the past few years and I couldn't be happier with it. Would Highly Recommend! 10/10

Very comfortable day pack for the slopes. If you plan on using this pack to carry you media equipment I recommend having that in it's own hard case inside the pack. Everything I had inside the pack stayed dry.
