Ideal for primary school , high-school or college , my youngest daughter uses this Dakine backpack ? for high-school ? , love it a lot and comes with a fully insulated built in sandwich box in the front pocket ( see photos ) , my daughters old backpack was 25 litres and was ok but not fully waterproof and she needed a bigger backpack due to homework , pencil case , packed lunch and PE kit . This backpack ticks all of the boxes ... everyone! and its such great quality as well and at a very good price , not to expensive for the quality of backpack you get . My daughter loves the built in sandwich box which holds a lot inc her drinks bottle as well as all snacks inc her lunch ,

Firstly, I hadn't heard of the brand so I looked it up - Dakine are an American company that have been making sportswear since 1978. I was reassured by this, as most new brands that I come across on Amazon seem to be from China, with varying degrees of quality being exhibited in their products.I am pleased to say that this backpack is excellent - a really good, thick and tough material on the outside that's a bit like canvas but water repellent, lots of pockets, good stitching, and very good quality zips.There are two central compartments, both with their own zips - one has a sleeve for documents, both are large enough to hold a laptop if needed.Another feature is the front pocket,

This is a fine rucksack from Dakine suitable for both travel and every day usage.Their campus rucksack features a generous 33 litre capacity and is available in a multiple finishes/colours.The one supplied to me by Amazon Vine for review is Grey 'Carbonil'.The main compartment is zipped,spacious and features a padded and lined pocket to store a laptop.The 2nd biggest area is another zipped compartment,which is also spacious and features a small internal zipped pocket and 2 smallish open pockets.All pockets are easy/wipe clean.I especially like the zipped compartment that doubles as a cool bag,what a neat feature to help keep your packed lunch,nice and cool throughout the day at work:).This

This is a good sized backpack, ideal for school, college or work. The outer material is a nice neutral grey and feels good quality. The zips all run freely, and the pockets are nicely lined. The shoulder straps are well padded and adjustable, they’re also slightly contoured to make for a better fit to your body. The main area is roomy and well protected, with another slip pocket inside it. The zips go far enough down to allow for easy access so you can rummage about. There’s another pocket on the front, again well padded and easily accessible, this I believe is the insulated pocket. It would hold a lunch. There’s a slim pocket in front of this which has no padding but opens fully and is quite well concealed.

This backpack is ideal for school or travel. The laptop storage area is big enough for a 17" laptop, and the insulated cool pouch works well, keeping food and drinks nice and chilled for 2 or 3 hours. The zips are good quality, and the body of the backpack is hard wearing, and attractive polyester. I've given this backpack to my daughter who is studying for her GCSE's, and wanted something big enough to carry her laptop, her books, and lunch/drink. This backback fits the bill perfectly, and even when loaded and heavy, the carry straps can be individually adjusted to make it comfortable to wear. My daughter used to complain that her old backpack gave her backache, and dug into her shoulders,

I struggle to get my head round the capacity of items like this, though I knew it was meant to be big enough to fit a laptop. I can happily confirm it does that, with plenty of room besides. We have the sleek grey colour, though plenty of other hues are available.Apart from the main compartment designed for a full size laptop, there are three other zippered storage sections, including a smaller one - perhaps for a wallet or similar?With two more side pockets for a drinks bottle or a pocket umbrella, perhaps, this does tick a lot of boxes and I will be happy to use it.Though I haven't tried it fully laden yet, the adjustable straps with padding seem to make the whole item very comfortable.

This is a quality back pack with designers that seem to have thought of everything for a person travelling or simply away from home for a day.The backpack looks really classy but it is very functional too. A special padded compartment is perfect to store my laptop while their are plenty of other compartments to make this the only bag I need to be out and about. A cool section for things to eat and plenty room for books or change of clothes when travelling.There are also two external zip compartments on the front of the bag. The straps are pretty wide which distributes the weight of the bag evenly.Brilliant for a day out or over night stay and perfect for train travel.

This backpack is larger than expected and also has loads of pockets and compartments. It easily holds my laptop, it has a drinks pocket as well as loads more pockets including two large full size rather than just one. It will a hold, phone, A4 folders, pens lunch box, my hat and gloves and a rolled up coat when I`m not wearing them and more. It would make an ideal overnight bag rather than a holdall. The straps are well padded and you can also pull the carry handle on the top over to cover the zips.It is very well made with tough, strong and tidy stitching. The zips seem robust and durable and the bag is comfortable to wear.

First time getting this model, second time getting a Dakine Backpack for everyday use. The backpack screams quality and seems water resistant. Fits my 17.3" gaming laptop just fine using the sleeve. Was kinda confused at first: the official website said the Campus 33L would fit up to 17" laptops but, the amazon page and the booklet that came with the backpack said up to 15". Anyways, I'm glad this worked for me since I couldn't find any other backpack from a know brand that either wasn't too expensive or screamed "GAMING BACKPACK". Would recommend picking this up as an everyday carry or for college/school use.

A nice sized backpack that has a good build quality and is comfortable on. There are lots of pockets for various items, including laptop, books, magazines, pens, folders, etc, with the added benefit of a padded pocket to keep food cool, a sunglasses pocket and side pockets for drinks. The zips open and close smoothly and the larger pockets open fully to allow easy access to the contents. I like the addition of the sternum strap which helps with the load in the bag. The material is good quality, but may not keep the content dry in heavy rain. I like this bag and is good value.

Fabulously roomy and comfortable to carry. They are my immediate impressions of this Dakine Campus Backpack. Its very well made with good strong stitching and padding in all the right places. The shoulder straps are easily adjustable and hold the bag firmly in place on my back. No unpleasant shoulder rub.There's also a waist strap for extra stability if required. The backpack itself is not at all heavy, so there's no noticeable additional weight added by the bag itself. An ideal commuter or college bag. I use it when cycling too. Great.

This is our 2nd Dakine backpack. We bought our son one 2 years ago & it still looks like new. I love the design of the shoulder straps as it makes the backpack very comfortable to wear & offers a lot of support & stability. It’s nice & big with lots of compartments. To us this justifies it’s price which is significantly higher than most backpacks.Attached is a photo showing my daughter’s brand new Dakine (that this review is for) & my son’s Dakine that is going into it’s 3rd school year.

Has always used dakine bags since I was about 13 ( im 23 now ) still have my one from back then and its still in good condition... i will never get another backpack except dakineSuper comfortableExcellent value for moneyI even wear my old dakine for riding my motorcycle nowHope this helps

The rigid straps are contoured and contain memory foam so comfortable to carry, even with heavy contents. It’s a very, large bag for carrying loads of work stuff. My son uses his for cycling to university, packed with A4 lever arch files.
