We ordered this harness to help protect our 5lb yorkie's throat. He has a collapsing trachea and we wanted a soft harness than didn't require us to pull his head through the harness to put it on and off. This is a step-in style harness that appears to be very good quality. The design is great and has a Velcro closure that is reinforced by a clasp button and two loops that connect to your leash. I knocked 1 star off my rating because the sizing could be better. The size charts provided on Amazon and the manufacturer's website don't match the size chart on the tag that came on the harness. Even still, sizing was an issue. I bought the extra small but it was too large,

These are nice harness. There are the first style and the sizes are really different. The first style runs big. I order a large my dog 16 pounds and the large was way to big . Order a medium for her but it was in the new style and I couldn't close it. I search amazon for the first style which is the pastel color in med and it was perfect. Order a size down if if you dog is at the end weight of the old style and a size up for the new style..I hope this will help someone so don't have to order and return like I did..I return the harness 3 times. The harness was a large in old style and it was really big and order a med in the new style I couldn't close it .

I definitely appreciate this vest as it's very easy for my elderly dog to get in and out of. I also like the way it hooks on top of her back so it's much easier for me to access as well. The little plastic rings are a bit large for a tiny leash hook but we do ok. My dog is only 9 pounds and I've not had any problems with her breaking away from the vest. The hook is a bit tricky as there is a tiny cover over the hole and if you don't get things in the right place it could pull apart pretty easily. I guess the plastic rings could break if there was enough tension on those as well. However, for my purpose it works just great!

Perfect, secure, comfortable looking, well designed, non-chafing little harness with added security features for my 5 lb, 4 oz PomChi. We went through a few to find a good design-this one was the Only one we loved. Great construction, fabric, features, options & fit-and customer service!. And Yes! It actually seems to help her stay a bit cool during our blazing hot summers! I used it as part of our strategy during the nasty 10 week/105 degree heat wave. It helped me to keep her healthy in unhealthy weather! I hope this company is doing very well. Great product!

Best fitting harness I've found, this is the fifth harness I've bought for my 7 month old mixed breed, none of the others have been a good fit and have slipped no matter how much they've been adjusted, but the Curli fitted perfectly out of the packaging it doesn't slip round and no chafing. Bear has never been so comfortable, it also appears to have nice secure catches but opens easily a definite bonus for someone with limited dexterity due to arthritis. Well worth trying if you have a problem with ill fitting harnesses and an uncomfortable dog.

The .most important thing is the dogs comfort, both of our dogs like them. I like them because I can feel secure that they are truly in these harnesses. First they are velcroed in, then snapped in above the velcro and on top of that the leash hooks into two little metal rings above the snap. It sounds like a lot but goes quickly when getting the harness on. It is a step in harness. When the dogs hear the velcro I put it on the floor and they go straight to it to step in.Comfort and security, can't beat that.This product is highly recommended.

This is an amazing harness! Our rescue mini schnauzer was having walking issues and tugging when on the leash, making her cough and possibly permanently injuring her trachea. With this harness, she cruises along nicely. It is so much easier to put on than the ones with all the straps, and she can't possibly escape. I saw it on a little dog about her size (15 lbs.) and asked about it. I actually ended up getting two! Excellent.

Love this harness! We previously used a k9 harness for our Yorkshire terrier X Jack Russell but the belt underneath was cutting and rubbing against her armpits so we ordered this and so glad we did? No belt or buckle under the arms so it is perfect!! She also doesn’t pull like she used to and it seems very comfortable. Will be ordering more colours!

This is such a cute, well made, well thought out harness. I just wish the xxxsmall was really xxxsmall. I have a 2lb 10oz. papillon (full grown) and this is too big for her. I'm hoping eventually she will gain a few oz. and it will be a better fit. But, that said, I think this would be a perfect harness for the 3lb puppy, but not any smaller.

Medium is the right size for my 16-pound yorkie-poo, and this manufacturer makes a harness that fits my dog properly -- I think this is a matter of which brand is right for your dog's body shape (like jeans for women!). Well-made, helps me keep him under control. Looks cute, too -- I have this harness in three colors.

We purchased one of these for our rescue pooch a few years ago and got a second for our pug this year (2019) as she needed something new to replace her scruffy-looking one. They are by far the best harnesses we've tried. We used to always get Puppia but these are much longer-lasting, cooler and fit better.

I ordered a size XS for my 16 week old Maltese Poodle (about 3.5kg) and it fits perfectly! He is so much more comfortable than on a collar. It fits him well, is sturdy and the clip mechanism is easy to use. Well made and good quality and dries quickly if he gets wet. Easy to wash too. Really recommended!

Love this harness as it is the perfect fit for my dog. We have tried many different designs but we are on to a winner with this one. There are no buckles that can cause rubbing or chaffing, it looks great and it is easily cleaned. Will definitely buy again in another colour.

My Cotton absolutely loves her new harness. She’s a 5 pounds Maltese puppy and The XXS fits her perfectly. She seems to be very comfortable on it and it’s so easy to put on. Love the Velcro since it’s convenient and strong so I feel she’s safe. I would totally recommend it.

I love this harness for my 3# puppy. It’s very hard to find a harness that fits comfortably and securely in this size. It’s easy to put on even with a squirming little puppy in your hands. This is the second time I’ve bought this harness for my toy poodle puppies.
