I got this case for my new Panasonic LUMIX DCM-TZ70 camera. The Panasonic cases looked to be poorly designed, and an alternative, the LowePro Apex 30 case, is expensive and looks like it is a discontinued model. This Cullman case (Ultralight Pro Compact 300) comfortably accommodates my camera, along with its attached lanyard. There is room for a spare battery or two in the outside pocket, and a memory card or lens wipes in the inside slip pocket.I have measured the inner dimensions of the case and I would say that the width and height are at least a cm more than stated in the Cullman specs. Hence the comfortable fit that is neither too tight nor too loose. The shoulder strap for the case and thelooks belt loop fastening look robust.I am off for a walk in the New Forest tomorrow so I will soon see how the case performs in real life!

I bought this case for my Tamron 70-210/4 lens which is 21cm long and about 8cm across (with both lens caps, and the lens hood inverted for storage). I struggled to find a bag that is 21x8cm for this lens and eventually had to settle on this 21x10cm bag. (The only 21x8 bag I could find is only available in the Ukraine.) The lens fits nicely even though there is an extra 2cm side space. When I switch with my 17-50/2.8 lens, the much shorter lens which is 10cm across can also go into the same lens case. In a rush the end cover can be closed using just the Velcro fastener, and can be zipped up properly later. It has a side loop with Velcro so it can be attached to the outside of a larger bag.

It took me ages to find a good back from my Panasonic Lumix GX7 micro four thirds system camera. Most bags I tried were simply too big, obviously designed for DSLRs, even though some claimed to be for system cameras (which they were clearly not). It takes my camera with standard zoom lens, a whopping 100-300mm zoom and a third lens, plus 4 spare batteries, lens and body caps, cables, the lot, but despite it the whole things remains compact and lightweight. One minor comment is that when you put the all weather hood on it that you can't use the strap so easily, but that is more than made up for the quality and easy of use of the bag.

love this case....i've got it attached to the side of my camera bag, and when i'm out and about taking pics, i typically put in the next lens i'm using most so i find it very handy in not needing to open the camera bag as its hanging on the side
