Over 10years ago I had ghds that lasted a very long time and left my intameable hair soft and straight for days. I was gutted when they broke last year but after already experiencing ghds I bought a rose gold limited edition pair about a year ago. They were awful and although still exspensive the quality had really gone down. They broke within a year and after replacing several times they had endless amounts of faults. I resided to buying a cheap 30.00 pair of straighteners that achieved the same results.... my hair would frizz up instantly after straightening and I repeatedly had to go over it. My hair is naturally wavy thick and coarse and with a slight change of humitidy it goes super frizzy.

Bought these a couple of weeks ago after reading reviews on them. I wanted a straightener suitable for my type hair which is very thick with a natural wave in it. I have quite unruly shoulder length hair which is an absolute nightmare after washing and drying it as it goes very frizzy and trebbles in size. I have been using Ghd's for a quite a few years now as I thought they were the best but recently I decided to do some research on what hair straighteners were most suitable for my hair type as It just never stays straight for long after going over it numerous times with my Ghd's. I came across a few and decided in the end to go for the Cloud Nines. I have to say I am not one bit disappointed.

After years of using GHD, I had all of my hair cut off and wanted a smaller plate set of straighteners. Now I like GHD and they do work, however my hair is very frizzy and even GHD did not do the job of allowing me to straighten my hair once and then it would stay like that for the rest of the day. So, after doing a bit of research I decided to give these a go and I am SO glad I did!! They are great! Even the lower heat settings are enough to keep my hair straight, and one session with them on a higher heat and I dont have to straighten my hair again until the next day (or not depending on style) I absolutely love them, they come with a little plastic sleeve that you can put on them when finished,

I bought these straighteners three weeks ago after months and months of toying with the idea of getting them when my GHDs died. I’d read all the reviews over and over but the cost really put me off. My only wish is that I’d got them sooner. I have frizzy thick hair that has always been a chore and nightmare to straighten, and when I’ve spent over half hour to straighten it and go out in the weather my hair needs straightening again.Not any more. Leaves my hair feeling soft and straight and shiney with ease without damaging my hair. got the hair I’ve always wanted after no more than 10 minutes straightening. Stays in day after day and much better condition. Curls brilliantly too,

Got these after my GHD’s pretty much blew up in my hand and I’m so glad I did! I don’t dislike GHD’s and never felt like they weren’t doing their job, but I’ve heard good things about Cloud Nine so I fancied a change. I can feel the difference after just once use of my Cloud Nine’s. My hair feels so much softer, the Cloud Nine’s glide through my hair where I felt my GHD’s used to almost drag. My hair also stays straight all day which is a miracle because my hair is a nightmare to keep straight. Also love the fact you can control the temperature for those days you feel like being a little kinder to your hair. Well done Cloud Nine, I’ll never turn back now!

After having a pair of the original GHD straighteners for around 18 years (had them repaired 3 times!) I was so reluctant to try anything else. However my daughter's newer GHD's were poor in comparison to mine so after reading some reviews I decided to plump for the Cloud Nine Original Iron. I cannot tell you how pleased I am with it - the heat regulator and the smoothness of the ceramic plates is fantastic. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is considering a change from GHD - they are amazing!

Always had GHD's so when they decided to visit straightner heaven i did some research as to which was better GHD or cloud 9 so i thought id give them a whirl.Overall i'm happy with them.They're easy to operate and straighten your hair brilliantly.I love the fact they have a temperature setting too.My only gripe is my set (don't know if they are all like this) seem abit 'scratchy'.sure if you've used straightners before you'll know what i mean.Good product but wish I'd chosen another set of GHDs

These striaghteners were purchased as part of a gift for my partner.My partner was an avid GHD user of the last 10 years, though a great product in themselves, GHD do not touch the overall quality of the cloud 9 straighteners.Firstly, merit for stocking such great straighteners at a competitive price, with the offering of an additional warrantyI would highly reccomended cloud 9 straighteners, and most definitely worth the money for a hassle free and easy use experience.

After my GHD's gave up the ghost after 10 long years of everyday use I immediately went to buy the IV Styler again, then my friend who's a hairdresser pointed me in the direction of the cloud 9's hastily I ordered both and tried them out I was really surprised with the cloud 9's and sent the GHD's back. I only hope they last a good 10 years like my last straightened did if they do I'll be more then happy to be a traitor to my GHD's and stick with the 9's so fingers crossed!..

I bought cloud 9’s on the recommendation of my hairdresser, I’ve always been a GHD user (4 pairs in house) anyways I’ve tried them twice now, as previous reviews state they glide thru the hair easily, temp control is a good addition, I think I’m that used to Ghds that I was looking for something to blow them out the water, like a wow factor, but they are on par with them, hopefully with the heat adjustment I might see less breakage of my hair......time will tell. I have used GHDs for years! I’m now at an age(50) where menopause is affecting my hair, making it frizzy and fly away, and I’ve been really upset about this, my GHDS have made no difference.I took the plunge in desperation and bought Cloud Nines, and OMG they are fantastic! I cannot rate these highly enough! I didn’t think anything would be better than GHDs but these certainly are! My hair stays looking brilliant for days after using these.Absolutely love them!

My hubby bought this for me to replace my ghds that had broken. I honestly should have switched to cloud nine a long time ago, they straighten my mad curly hair a lot faster than the ghds and my hair stays straighter for longer. They don’t snag my hair and you can higher or lower the heat setting. I used a lower setting and still got my hair straighter than the ghd but my hair will definitely benefit from the reduced heat. Will never go back to ghds after these

I bought this a few weeks ago when my old straighteners gave up on me, and I’m so glad I did! They straighten my hair perfectly and it stays straight all day, even through to the next day. My hair is naturally very wavy/curly so I usually have to set straighteners to over 200 degrees to get my hair straight, but these give an amazing result at under 200 degrees. They heat up really fast and I love the heat proof case they come with. Would definitely recommend.

I bought GHDs to replace my failing GHDs I was so disappointed with them as my failing GHDs worked better so bought Cloud Nines on a recommendation.....they are fabulous, you have the ability to change the temp to really hot or just warm hot and right from the very first time I've used them my hair has been poker straight....no mean feat given I have long curly hair. Would highly recommend throw your GHDs in the bin, cloud nines are the business.

These are by far the best hair straighteners I have ever had. I have used many different brands from high street ones to top of the range ghds and cloud 9 are definitely the best. My hair stays straight all day which is great as I have naturally curly frizzy hair and it’s never been this straight. I also like that you can adjust the temperature and how quickly they heat up. They are definitely worth the price and I would highly recommend them.
