I’ve had all different brands of straighteners including ghd s which were good but the babyless are amazing my last pair lasted me 4 yrs had no problems with them and there still in good working order I just felt it was time for new pair.. All my friends pay over £100 for ghds I paid £20 for my babyless and wouldn’t change them for the world, Don’t take my word for it there only £20 buy a pair try them for yourself I’m sure you be pleasently surprised and once you do your hair you can spend the money you saved on night out..,

I'm Caribbean and have fine textured, curly hair. I rarely straighten my hair with the BaByliss Pro Ceramic 230 Hair Straightener but must say that they are pretty good! They're light weight, easy to use and clean. The plates are smooth and glide easily over my hair when styled in sections, giving it a sleek/ straight finish that can last up to a week before my hair begins to frizz again. The design also allows you to create soft curls when hair is wrapped around the plates and base. Good buy!

Definitely worth the money and the performance of this product is great. My hair is long and thick and the straighteners are thin and quite small, because of this I wouldn’t recommend these for if you have similar hair to me. However I bought these purely to curl my hair with and after a couple of weeks I have grasped the correct technique. So if you are looking for a pair of straighteners at an affordable price but great quality, I strongly recommend these. Also comes with a heatproof mat.

As a woman of colour finding hair straighteners can be difficult in regards to keeping my hair neat, straight and frizz free without actually burning my hair follicles !This product is amazing. It has actually helped retain the sleek and straight outcome that I desire. The temperature that the product obtains is just the right heat setting to tame that frizz!A sleek design and good price.I recommend this product to women of all colours because of it works for me it can work for you !

My old straighteners weren't working properly, I was going on holiday the next day and needed some new ones. I was in Sainsbury's so popped into Argos to see what was on offer. These are ideal for me. I have very thin, fine hair which is not very long. Most straighteners are too big or too hot. These are brilliant and I would definitely recommend them to people with similar hair. Added to which they are light and goos for travelling. Not so good for long thick hair.

A great basic straightener. They claim to be ready to use in 30 seconds but I got a far better result after leaving them on for 5 mins before using them.They are very lightweight which prevents your arm from aching while using them and makes them good for travelling with. However, they feel a bit flimsy compared to more expensive ones I have used in the past.A great product for the price, although I can imagine they might not be as good on thick or curly hair.

I wanted to get a straightener which could both straighten and curl as it would make things easier. This straightener can do that. The design of it means I can use the outside of the straightener to curl. The final result you get is beach/wavy curls which I like. I would recommend these straighteners as they are easy to use, they heat up very quickly and come with a heat protected matt so you can leave them on the floor or bed without the risk of a fire.

I’ve used a certain brand of expensive straighteners for the last 7 years and I’ve never rated them that highly, got them because everyone else has them, recently my 3rd pair broke and I had enough so I quickly reserved these and collected them within 20 mins (super fast service in store) was expecting them to not turn on with the price they are, got them plugged in and worked better than my last pair ever did. Couldn’t recommend them more if I could!!

Bought this for my daughter for Christmas, she has really long hair and it leaves beautiful curls, like she’s been at the hairdresser. My other daughter also has long hair with layers and likewise leaves lovely curls, I have shoulder length hair with lots of layers, didn’t do such a good job on me! To be fair I curled their hair whilst I attempted to curl my own. This is great for nights out and having hair in different styles.

Nicky Clarke straighteners broke so needed a reasonably priced replacement asap...these were around what I wanted to spend but now I wish I'd paid a bit more for another pair of nicky clarkes straighteners. Plus is the included heat mat, the straighteners themselves are easy to use/look nice but noticed it takes me longer than my old pair & my hair doesn't stay as straight for as long/these make my hair fluffy with static...

For the price these are a lovely pair of hair straighteners. I bought a different pair to replace my old ones which broke after many years. They were three time the cost of this model (with money off) and were useless. At this point I just wanted a cheap pair that would do the job they were needed for. Which is what I’ve got. It has two heat setting, feels smooth as I’m straightening my hair, and works well on my fine hair.

Daughter bought with some Christmas money she got this is her first pair of streighteners so we too a while to choose and these are ideal for her to use i like the fact they have 2 heat settings too. We have used them on both settings and work lovely shes very happy. I also like the face they come with a heat matt great little extra 1. I bought a pair few yrs ago and didn't get one. Means no burns on any carpets! Win win!

This is the first one of these I have bought and I just love it. To be honest, I had borrowed my friend' which were far more expensive and these are every bit as good and do the exact same job. Excellent price and value for money. They heat up really quickly and I love the little heat pad which comes with them. Very useful and protects the surface they are on. I would definitely recommend these. You won't be disappointed.

I am very happy with this product, Due to me having frizzy curly hair its always a nightmare to get the right product. I haven't been able to find a hair straightener that works on my hair until now !... they actually straighten my hair rather than pulling or nipping it ! I would use this product once I dried my hair and it will still be straight the next day!!. and also they were very cheap. very happy with my purchase.

When my old straighteners died halfway through doing my hair I quickly got online and bought these. Was a bit worried as I didn't research as much as I would normally but needn't have. They are quick to heat up and easy to use. Also they come with a heat pad to put them on whilst in use to protect furniture etc. Have had a few sets of straighteners but none have ever provided a heat pad. Really pleased with them.
