First time wearing a helmet for skiing but I was very happy with the comfort of this helmet. I have a bigger head and non-sloping forehead, so many times I get a tight spot there requiring me to oversize just to accommodate my neanderthal skull. This is light weight, after a few minutes did not notice it on my head. My only complaint and I see this is a common problem with many helmets, when you want to take off your goggles and rest them on the helmet, there is not a good 'landing' spot for them. Goggles can slip off and end up dangling behind your head. Otherwise for the casual skier, happy with the price vs. performance aspect.

I have a very large head and it's difficult to find hats/helmets that fit. I tried the top of the line Smith helmet because it was listed with a longer circumference, but it was too small. This was listed for about 2-3 cms smaller and fit perfectly. There are better looking helmets, but it's not terrible looking by any means. The vents worked well and prevented the helmet from being too warm or cold depending on the conditions. The only negative, and the reason it only gets 4 stars, is that the ear pads pop out a little too easy. Not a problem while skiing, but I'm a little worried about losing them during travel.

My first bit of advice is to try on helmets in person if you can. This is my first ski helmet. I tried many brands and styles of helmets and I found the Giro helmets fit my head best. This helmet fits really well, and is well ventilated. I resisted getting a helmet for many years, but after trying it I realized how comfortable it actually is and it also keeps my ears warm! In spring skin conditions I expect I'll still sweat, but I'll live with that.

This helmet is great. It is comfortable, and it has adjustable air vents that you can open and close to keep your head cool or warm. The only complaint I have about it is that the retaining clip for the goggles is poorly designed. Every now and then, my goggle strap will come out of the clip unexpectedly. This mainly happens when taking the goggles off my face and putting them on the helmet. Other than this, I am very happy with the helmet.

I love the low profile design. The medium size fits great if you don't wear a balaclava or anything between your head and the helmet, otherwise get the large. audio compatible for drop in headphones. Very comfy and snug. You can easily stick a go-pro attachment on the top.Note this is the non-MIPS equipped version, the MIPS version is about thirty bucks more.

Fits pretty true to size. If you get it a little large, the dial on the back can be used to tighten it a bit. I purchased a balacava that I'll wear underneath, so the fit is snug and the helmet isn't going anywhere. It's super lightweight as well. Still searching for a way to comfortably wear headphones. Overall, not bad for $100.

Was looking for ages for a helmet to fit my large head. I have a more oval shape of head so always have problems with fit at front and back of my head. This fits perfectly!Tried the Smith Vantage in XL first - which by measure should be larger (63cm-67cm), but is geared towards a round head. Otherwise it seemed a great helmet.

I love this helmet. Fits my very large head perfectly (I couldn't get any of the other Giro or Smith helmets in XL to fit; my head is long, not evenly large). Plenty warm. Plenty comfortable. Have installed a Sena SMH-10R intercom in it. Skied with it 8 times now. So glad I purchased this and not one that costs $50-$150 more!

A durable and good looking snow helmet. I would have liked a built in front and top go-pro mount but I didn't like the looks of the few models that had them. The curved go-pro mount pads aren't the correct curve to match the helmet so some filler needs to be added. Overall, a good helmet and good value.

Helmet fits me very good. It keeps my head warm as well while I'm skiing or snowboarding. If it is a warm day, I can open the little vents on top very easily and it lets some air in to make the helmet that much more comfortable. Easily adjusts right away so you get a good fit immediately.

First helmet and it fits well and is light weight. No issues with the Boli goggles i own. Kept me head warm and was comfortable with my turtle fur hood. For an adult helmet I think its priced well for a mid range helmet. Overall happy with the performance and fit.

Bought for my 7-year old son. Fits well and looks nice. Haven't used it yet, but it appears to be of good quality. We had a really good Giro brand bike helmet that both kids used when they were preschool aged so expect this snow helmet to be good as well.

A bit less in price compared to local ski shop. Long time skier and first time helmet wearer and thought I would hate it but surprisingly doesn't bother me. Fits perfectly with goggles and keeps you warm and has air vents as well.

The INForm fit system is AWESOME! This is the first ski "lid" that has ever actually fit my head. This is the most comfortable helmet I've ever worn. Looking forward to the coming ski season with this lid. :-)

I got this for my 16-year-old. It looks great, is warm, easy to adjust, and the great quality you'd expect from Giro. I bought the Giro ear buds that fit inside the helmet for him too. He loved it!
