I've been a GHD user for the past 15 years and it just broke, so I got this as I didn't want to pay so much money but wanted something that is less damaging. The temperature control is a great feature which GHD didn't have, and my hair is fine, straight and bleached so being able to set it down as 160C is great. The keratin infusion is good, and the iron heats up really fast. Extremely good value for money, much better than high end GHDs and does the same job. Perfect for those with damaged hair

The instructions are straight forward and easy to follow.I didn't even need to use them on full power to get results which means less damage to my hair. The swivel lead stops the lead from wrapping round the straighteners and my arm and the floating plates glide over the hair with no snagging. The plates lock feature is good for storage too. Professional results at home.

After using these for a few weeks I must say I absolutely love them, they heat up really quickly and are so easy to use, the variable temperature i love because it lets me set it low, even at the lowest temperature it works amazingly. Usually straightening will leave my hair frizzy but these leave my hair looking quite healthy and no dreaded frizz in sight. It also comes with a great storage pouch which is so handy. Only problem is that they’re quite chunky and the plastic gets quite hot in use

Great looking, thin, lightweight & so easy to use, even switching themselves off when not used for 60 mins & Includes a case to store them in when not in use. My hair is extremely thick and an absolute nightmare to straighten and normally takes so long to do, these just seem to glide through my hair & With the added bonus of the straighteners monitoring the hairs moisture as to not overheat the hair, they leave it feeling soft and looking shiny. Highly recommended for anyone with thick hair.

I had owned the older model of the remington straightener with the keratese strip it was also purple. I had got it from Argos 3 yrs ago & it lasted 3 years! And im a heavy user, LOL. I also did not look after it at all. how ever I burnt the cord left it on many times for hours so it stopped working (my fault). So when looking for a new one I was dying to get that same model but i think this was the closest thing to it. It is also much lighter and smootherto use than the old one! Perfect!!!

I wasn’t happy with my GHD platinums as my hair still seemed to look frizzy and not straight. So I decided to try these, and I’m really glad that I did because they leave my hair much straighter, sleeker, shinier and so much less frizzy. I don’t know if it’s the oil infused plates but my hair looks so much shinier and glossy now. I also like the fact that I can monitor the temp on these and on the 180 setting my hair is much better than it was before and it doesn’t feel burning hot to touch.

I straighten my hair once or twice a week once I've washed it. I ususlly use a known expensive hair straightner which but wanted to see if another one did the same job. I found that it was easy to use, heated up quickly and the temperature was adjustable. I liked the style of it and the fact it comes with a nice case to store it in. It was easy to straighten my hair but did take longer than my usually hair straightner did. I will though be taking it into Hopsital with me when I give birth!

I couldn’t wait to open these straighteners, they are sturdy to hold and very luxurious to use.They heat up within 15 seconds and bleep once they are ready to use which I found was rather useful.The fact that the plates are infused with keratin and almond oil left my hair feeling like I have just walked out of a salon.My hair is silky and smooth and has stayed straight all day. Excellent product I highly recommend.They also come with a smart storage pouch with heat resistant lining.

When I opened the box I was impressed with what I saw. Nice slim straighteners, I like the colour and handy zip bag to store them in. When using these straighteners I find they straighten my hair well but there’s no cool tip to hold. Also my hair has got caught in the split plate, I will show in a picture. The buttons are well placed so they won’t be pressed by mistake and the straighteners can be locked in a closed position. I did try to curl my hair but it didn’t quite work with these.

My daughter & I love these. I have naturally straight, soft hair with occasional wispy bits, my daughter's hair is thicker and a little more coarse with a slight natural wave, these sleeked our hair down quickly the first time without the need to keep going over it.I mainly bought them to give my hair a natural looking wave, I have curling irons but they can sometimes makes me look a bit 'Shirley Temple'. These gave me the look I wanted to achieve whilst giving me the extra shine.

I am incredibly impressed with these straighteners not only does the added keratin make my hair both smooth and shiny but also for someone who has very thick, curly hair I've never seen my hair as straight as it has done. The straighteners themselves are lightweight and easy to use. Instructions are clear and concise. The 15 minute shut off is great especially if your in a rush as their is not of the panic halfway to work trying to remember if you've turned them off. A* PRODUCT

My mother-in-law has these and I loved using them so much I decided to upgrade my old set of a different brand to these. These straighteners look stylish and come in a really handy and nice heat proof travel case. They work so well and I love the fact that they automatically adjust the heat based on your hair's needs, meaning they don't damage your hair as much as other straighteners. They make my hair look and feel so straight and smooth and shiny - definitely recommend!

This is my review of the Remington keratin protect hair straightener, I don't have any negative points about this product.Originally I was using a cloud 9 micro iron, and it caused frizz and breakage. I don't recommend it. since using the Remington, my hair is so soft, no breakage. no frizz. the straightener heats up so fast.I style my hair on temperature 180c because that is the optimum temperature and my hair is amazing I love it. I recommend it, its amazing.

My straighteners were at least 10 years old and I had been thinking for sometime I could do with replacing them. I have long coarse thick wavy hair. It took a Sunday morning of research and I decided to go for the Remington Keratin Protect Ceramic straighteners. One of the reviews mentioned how well the Remington coped with hair similar to mine. They are brilliant. I have smooth well tamed hair that lasts at least 4 days and in damp weather. So highly recommend them!

These are fab straighteners. I have GHD’s but was looking to get straighteners that wouldn’t harm my hair as much and these ones kept popping up as a recommendation. They are easy to use and heat up fast (nearly as quick as the GHD’s). It’s good that you can control the temperature and they do seem to make my hair look shinier and healthier. They also don’t cause the fly away hairs that my GHD’s do. They’re good straighteners for the price.
