Our son is a complete devotee of Lego and Halo Megabloks at the moment, so we were quite pleased to find an alternative to the usual sets on offer. We initially bought the tank set which was very good and this one didn't disappoint. The toy is well designed and the bricks themselves are weighty and good quality plastic making the model quite robust. There is the usual issue of sometimes pieces falling off whilst in play but Lego has this problem too. Our only gripe if there is one, is that the rotor blades do tend to drop off so it's an idea to maybe use some glue on those parts!!Overall a very good toy and relatively well priced for the quality and hours of play.

This is a really good model, which captivates and ends up as a cool and absorbing model! The pieces do actually interlock with normal Lego so no worries there. Standing the characters up on their own is tricky as their feet tend to not fit into the normal board. I purchased a separate set of flat stands (smooth plates with one line of 4x1 prongs down the middle) to aid things along, which work fine. One further bonus was the excellent service from supplier.

Not quite the quality of Lego and some parts can be difficult to clip together, for best results a little bit of glue on the rotor blades ensures they stay in place (without it they can be a bit flimsy and fall off) but saying that.....a lot more fun and educational than Lego and makes up quite an impressive helicopter with opening tailgate to go with the range of other Character Building Armed Forces toys, superb!

My 8 year old bought this with his own money so of course was expecting a lot! But what a great item. It is a lot bigger than I thought it would be and is quite sturdy as it is only party lego-type build. It arrived quickly too, so another bonus when you have an 8 year old eagerly awaiting his purchase!

Ordered this for nephews. Good quality item for the price. My only issue is, as other reviewers have stated, the rotor blades do easily fall out of their mounting. Maybe I could fix this with a bit of glue but it's the only glitch in what is otherwise a good product that my nephews enjoy playing with.

My children are very keen on army-related toys, and love Lego, so this is an ideal combination. The quality of the blocks isn't quite up to Lego standards, but is still good. You get more for your money than you do with Lego.

Bought for grandson on his 8th birthday. There are quite a few parts both large and small. Grandson managed to assemble helicopter all by himself and enjoys playing with it. So Grandad and Grandson are both happy.
