When I saw that this backpack has a 25 YEAR warranty and a retail price of under thirty-five dollars, it instantly became tough to not give it a 5-star rating, but the minimal padding of the tablet and laptop compartments put those items at risk for damage which is not covered by the warranty. The price and warranty are great, but this is otherwise a lack-luster backpack.Case Logic's Ibira Backpack will appeal to commuters, students (without heavy textbooks) and perhaps overnight travelers and gym rats. It's not a heavy-duty pack. It's features and looks don't set it apart from the pack in my opinion, but the warranty on the bag is tough to ignore.Since I was unfamiliar with Case Logic's warranty,I went to the source to learn more. This is what I found out.--------------------------------------------WARRANTY POLICYQuality Guarantee Policy:Case Logic is dedicated to providing quality products. Every product is quality tested and is guaranteed for the term reflected on its packaging against defects in materials and workmanship. Our quality guarantee applies only when products have been put to the use intended by Case Logic and specifically excludes defects from misuse, use beyond a product's intended purpose or coincidental or consequential damage. This warranty specifically excludes damages to items stored or carried in Case Logic products.Guarantee Durations by product type:25 Year Quality Guarantee*All media products (except leather products and media storage racks)All computer cases (except wheeled products and computer accessories)All automotive products (except rooftop products)All photo/video products (excluding universal pockets)BackpacksQuality Guarantee ClaimsCase Logic fully complies with all applicable European and national rules and regulations regarding the sale of consumer goods and associated guarantees and this Quality Guarantee does not in any way affect the rights you may enjoy as a consumer under the national legislation applicable to your sale agreement with Case Logic. In case of a defective product, we will if reasonably possible repair or replace it at no additional costs to you. In the event such a repair or replacement is not possible or reasonable, we will provide you with a partial (if you decide to retain the defective product) or full refund (upon return of the defective product to Case Logic). To submit a warranty request via email, please fill out our Warranty Request Form and email it to us.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------NOTE: The 25 year warranty is only for the bag, not the contents. So while this product is lightweight, it's minimally padded to protect your precious electronics, and may be too lightweight in this area for some consumers.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------As for the backpack itself, it's inexpensive and has a lot of nice features. The bottom is padded, as is the back and it's extremely lightweight (*1.15 pounds). The color is more steel grey (versus black) and lime green, with a faint pattern on the material. Per the attached tag, the backpack can carry a 10.1" tablet (iPad or Android) and up to a 15" laptop at the same time.**Please note: I was unable to put a 10" Android tablet in the tablet pocket with a thick case on it - which would protect it in addition to the non-padded tablet sleeve. This was disappointing, as if the pocket was padded I could see removing the case, but without padding to protect the tablet - I just wouldn't be able to use the pocket for transporting this item.**The dimensions of the bag: 12.6" x10.2" x 17.3" and will fit devices up to 10.5" x 12" x 15.2". 24L capacity - 1465 cu in. Only 1.15 pounds without anything inside. Backpack is made in Vietnam.---------------------------------------On the product tag the use of the term "outdoor-inspired" in the product description gave me a chuckle. Are their "indoor" inspired backpacks for those field trips to the bathroom?Overall, it's a good, very lightweight backpack that can get the job done without a lot of fanfare.Inexpensive, minimally padded backpack designed for today's tech transportation needs, many will find it budget-friendly and useful. It's very lightweight at under 1.5 pounds when empty, but some of that is because it's laptop and tablet compartments are not fully padded. The straps are also lightly padded and the carrying handle is not padded at all. These would be issues for me if I bought this bag, but at the low price point with a 25 year warranty, it's tough to complain too much. In my opinion, the ultra-lightweight build is this bag's best feature. One thing that I think was missing on this bag is a media pocket with a headphone port. This seemed like a strange omission on a pack that is focused on 'tech'.

This is a nice carry-on sized backpack that has many uses outside of carrying a computer and a tablet. It's well thought out and has more hidden space than you'd think (be sure and read product description). My granddaughter is on the petite side and she welcomed it with opened arms as an alternative to the much more expensive and bigger backpack she currently struggled to tote around at college. The stitching is done well and the weight is distributed evenly on the back. She carries a laptop and the books she needs that day along with her eternal water bottle in a net pocket on the side (one on each side - pockets - not water bottles) and a meal replacement bar. There's even a full length zippered compartment on the back you can put a sweater, or shoes, or other articles in and it doesn't throw the whole thing off.But her main reason for dumping her expensive swiss whatever pack was the size. It's just right for her and she says it's hard to find that right size and she likes the fact that it's a carry-on at the airport too since she commutes between her parents place in Washington and here in Colorado for school (want to be a crime scene investigator). It's got plenty of internal space and fits her 15 inch laptop without issue and sometimes when she takes her Samsung 10 inch galaxy 4 to school too there's plenty of room for both with adequate protection and good fit.All in all she's very happy with it and so am I.

A really good value rucksack. From the caselogic stable this black and orange bag has a front pouch that zips straight down thru front and would fit an A4 notebook. Behind that is a zip around compartment, which folds half way down and reveals 2 pouches and two pen holders. The main padded laptop carrying area is behind, with two pouches (front and back). To the sides are two netted areas with elastic tops that will hold all sorts of oddments. Finally there is a pouch on the back that would be useful for a wallet. The ticket says it will carry a 15.6" laptop AND a 10.1" tablet. The two straps are adjustable to make sure of a good fit.I am really pleased with the quality of this, and it holds my laptop and/or my 12" tablet. Most of all it is simply a good general purpose ruck sackThoroughly recommended!

Bought this on sale for our young son for school, price wise it was about the same as the licensed but crummy kids backpacks we seem to buy 2 of per year, so figured I'd get him something 'pro grade' this time around. Luckily he likes the colour ;) I'd call it more 'turquoise' or 'emerald' than 'pepper'.Quality is great, seems well made, well thought out array of pockets, good quality material and decent thickness so should last him. Not too heavy. Has webbing for his water bottle and tons of pockets which he's already started filling with stuff. Straps are well enough padded and comfortable. For an adult (me) it might be a bit on the small side, for a 6 y/o boy its pretty well perfect, not too big but plenty of space to put stuff.

Im not a big fan of huge padded backpacks but I do need to carry a laptop and ipad most days so this looked great. On opening it is a slightly patterned or textured fabric which looks a bit more classy than some. There is arear compartment with sleeves for laptop and ipad, but surprisinglythese are unpadded, and as they are right up against each other when the bag is closed, the tech isnt really very well protected. The rest of the bag consists of a spacious compartment which could take clothes etc.

This is a basic but good enough quality backpack for carrying small/medium laptop or notebook. The materials are not of the highest quality but good enough.I find I can add my shopping to it also & it has 3-4 extra useful pockets including one at the front which opens in the middle.Npt designed for heavy loading & it hurts my neck if I overpack it with heavy stuff. All in all, good value for money & good enough for a basic backpack.

This is a decent little rucksack - it's a good size, a good amount of pockets for storing things including a 'secret' pocket for cash/travel cards etc, and it has comfortable straps. I got it for my laptop and my other half has stolen it because he likes it so much. It doesn't feel like it's the most expensive material in the world, but it's sturdy enough for everyday use. Would benefit from a raincover though.

Very comfortable, light and spacious backpack. Lots of pockets and space for books, pens and my 15" laptop. Also has some nifty features; for example there is a loop of elastic on the bottom of both straps that you can use to wrap up the bits used for adjusting the length your strap. A word of warning; this backpack gets wet quite easily but dries quickly - best to avoid rain if possible.

Great backpack for the money. Materials are nice and the build quality is also very good. Color in the picture is very accurate. Straps are comfortable but not very padded. I don't see this as a travel backpack but for school or office is great.

Great backpack! It's super light weight and you can get a lot of stuff in it. The only issue I've had is that the straps slide out of place really easily. I just ended up putting a knot in them so the would stay in place.

I really like this bag. I transport my Dell laptop and my ipad daily and this backpack has room (and slots) for both. It also has room for my lunch and snacks. Really a nice backpack

While this backpack did not fit as much as we had expected, it is a well made bag that can be used for indoor or outdoor use and has a great number of pockets for various uses.

My daughter loves this backpack. She is able to put a couple of extra items in with her laptop. It is great for a grab-and-go style laptop bag.
