This is a very nice, albeit very somewhat thin, case. It would be best used for a short day-trip, or it would make a fairly good carry-on if you can cram everything else into your second carry-on, or if you've checked luggage. It is really designed to be lean and light, and it does a pretty good job at that.It has a fairly roomy zippered compartment on the very front for any quick-access items; airplane tickets will fit nicely in there, as it pretty much runs the full length of the bag. The outermost (nearest the front) top zippered compartment has slots for pens, and a few small, open compartments for things like credit cards, etc.The main section has one sleeve for a laptop, which is decently padded.Another sleeve is right against the laptop compartment, and is meant to hold your tablet. What I don't like is that this tablet sleeve has absolutely no padding on the front side at all; it is just thin material. You would definitely not want to store your tablet in there if it does not already in a protective case.Inside the main compartment on the other side is another thin sleeve that purportedly holds your charger, cables, etc. The problem is, if you put all that in there, it will be pressed right up against your tablet. Again, if your tablet is properly protected on its own, you should be okay.I've added a photo that hopefully gives you a better idea of what I am trying to explain. In it, you will see my Dell Latitude e7240 12.5" laptop (silver), and my 8.9" Kindle HDX (in its protective case, I might add). Both fit with nicely with room to spare. The interior of the padded laptop compartment is roughly 11" wide and 13" deep. The exterior also has two holders on each side for water bottles, or whatever you want to put in there, with elastic tops and netted material for the pockets. The straps are decently padded, but not what I would call overly comfortable...I would rate them at about a 7 on a 1-10 scale.Overall, I think this bag is a decent choice if you want to travel light and don't plan to cram in everything under the sun. It seems well made...time will tell. Thanks for reading....if things change I will update the review, and I am happy to answer any questions you may have.

This relatively inexpensive laptop backpack (at $19.99 or thereabouts) is not beautiful and it doesn't have all the bells and whistles, but it is functional.Pros:- Big external front pocket with right-hand-side zipper is good for wallet, change, keys, etc.- With two big top pockets, including a divided laptop pocket, there is plenty of space for a portfolio, a pad, accessories, or whatever.- Having two tablet-sized pockets inside the laptop pocket could be useful to those with a couple of tablets or a tablet and a small paper pad.- Mesh pockets with elastic tops on the external sides of the pack can be good for carrying water bottles.Cons:- Materials look and feel cheap.- Laptop padding is not terribly thick, and it's only on the front and back of the sleeve; no top or bottom padding.- Padding on the straps is minimal and there's no belly strap.- The mesh used in the water bottle pockets is thin and will probably not last long.I originally wrote reviewed this bag in February, and at the time I was not very optimistic about the bag lasting even six months. However, I've been using it almost daily since then (it's now October), and my appreciation of the bag has grown considerably. It's worked well for me, and I've only had minor problems with it. (Some of the stitching frayed right away; a zipper tab fell off, but this was easy to repair.) As long as the price stays low, I recommend it as a good value.

This is a nice, basic backpack. It has a padded compartment for a small laptop and another compartment for everything else. There is a zipper pocket on the front to store stuff you need quick access to. The sides have mesh pockets for water bottles. It's not fancy, nor is it very large. It would make a fine day pack for someone on a budget. I don't think it would be good for school if the student needs to carry more than one textbook at a time, though.

I use this backpack for carrying my 13.3" laptop (with its sleeve), my books and many other things for university. This backpack has a lot of room for its size. The laptop compartment is nicely padded, and there is a section for a tablet. This backpack is great for its purpose. It feels, looks and is a great quality backpack. You won't be making a wrong decision by buying this, definitely worth it :)

Used this bag to store books, folders, papers etc and occasionally a 2kg laptop for a over year and it still works. It's got lots of different compartments to store a variety of stuff. Highly recommended. My only gripe with it is the zipper fabric has started to fray over time but it doesn't stop the bag from functioning.

I like it. It's a little smaller, lighter, and less padded than my previous one, but my computer is also a little smaller, lighter, and not as fat. It's not as heavy or cumbersome to carry. The compartments are convenient for typical items that people carry. If it holds up well, it will be fabulous. Time will tell.

This is a very sleek backpack—the lightest I've tried that has enough carrying capacity for a 15" MacBook Pro plus accessories. The straps are comfortable, the pockets are practical, and the water bottle pocket is unobtrusive when not in use. It's an excellent package, ideal for office commuters.

There aren't a ton of pocket options, but the bag is slim, light, and holds enough for a day of work. For a college student, it could get a bit hard to fit a ton of binders etc. I take my journal and laptop, chargers, notebooks, etc. And it does a very good job for me! Also a good looking bag

We bought two of these backpacks for when my wife and I travel with our tablets, headphones, books, cameras and other stuff you want to have handy on an airplane or in the car. We found them to be excellent quality laptop/tablet backpacks at a great price.

Couldn't be more perfect for my wife as a great carry-on for her devices and such. We've been frustrated trying to find a bag for her laptop and iPad. But nothing has been quite as roomy as this one. And lots of extra room for other stuff. Great job!

A great purchase. The straps are padded as well as the back of the bag and it is super comfy to wear. I used the bag for years in many weather conditions and it held up for ages. The zipper finally broke but the build of the bag is top quality

I have had it for a month and haven't had any issues with tears or broken zippers. It seems to have enough cushioning inside for both my kindle and laptop to not get beat up and I also managed to squeeze in a light jacket and lunch box.

I bought this for my husband. He is happy with it. The only caveat is that the internal laptop sleeve takes up so much room in the center compartment that there is little room for much else.

Really good backpack. It has a lot of space and compartments, is light and everything fits perfectly. I like how you can fit a lot of things in it and the bag doesn't look bulky.

My 15.6 inch DELL laptop fits perfectly in this backpack plus it is very resistant and have many compartments to store different things, not only your laptop.Great Product!
