I'd been considering the smaller DM55 for some time to replace a Samsung 2.1 "surround sound" system with sub-woofer and satellite speakers. It was fine but I always found the sound a bit "muddled" and "boomy". We also had a real challenge understanding some dialogue and put it down to our ageing ears but after reading the reviews, I thought a different approach was called for. The only thing that put me off the the DM55 was the physical size - our TV stand was wider than the unit and all the wisdom seems to say that's not a good idea so I stumbled across the larger cousin, the DM75. I had been looking at it on Amazon for a couple of days when the price shot up from £299 to £399 overnight (there were still some buying options at £299 but with lengthy delivery times)

Looking for a soundbar that we could tuck under the TV resulted in us buying the Canton DM75 as it had been well reviewed elsewhere. We are well pleased with the difference it has made. Our Samsung TV is great on pictures but the sound lets it down.You know the Canton is there, Its wider than our TV! After reading the manual set up was easy (once we had access to the back of our Virgin box, TV and Blueray player). Immediately the sound is far more detailed, the bass has punch (but not boomy), vocals are clear (it really is the actors that mumble their lines), and music is nicely presented. The remote is simple to use.Sound quality - 5 stars; the quality of the drivers used is apparentValue for money - It is a bit pricey,

I previously owned the Yamaha SRT1000 soundbase however it developed a fault as when any deep base was on the case vibrated excessively causing a rattling noise. That was meant to be one if the best systems out there..... This completely blows it out if the water! Unbelievable sound quality from something so small and I'm literally blown away with it. Films are transformed and brought to life like never before and the 200w of power this thing has means it's ready to pump out music, tv and films with such clarity and vigour it will transform your sitting room...trust me!This is one of the best things I've ever bought!I've included the optimum sound settings below to get the most out if your

Bought this back in July 2017. Amazing product. Well made, looks good, sounds excellent. Mine is situated on large wooden cabinet with TV standing on top. Sounds superb. Volume - PLENTY! Bass - deep and tight, no overhang or booming. Dialogue clear on most programmes. Music - good detail / dynamics. Control logic - absolute joy to use, all functions easily controlled by high quality built-like-a-brick remote. Lipsync facility very useful - can be altered instantly whilst watching. System stores current settings even when disconnected from mains, no need to be left in stand-by. Display - large, easy to read at distance, disappears when not needed - no blinding LED to annoy - lovely!

Being slightly hard of hearing, thought this system would be an improvement on my existing Panasonic sound bar.To be honest, feel a bit disappointed, as there seems little improvement, considering it was twice the price and does not have the features of the sound bar,Feel the bass is too boomy even with it turned down to max and treble turned up to max.A couple of times the remote locked out and had to reboot, to get it to work.There is no denying the quality and delivery. 5 stars.

Excellent upgrade from my previous Sonos setup (playbar, sub, and play 1's). The sound is more intelligent, so you find you're not having to turn the sound up or down depending what's going on on the tv. Good integration with TV for remote control, and a really good form factor. Looks much more integrated and tidy than a soundbar that sits in front of the tv.Still keep a Play5 in the room for music, but much happier having a dedicated solution for TV sound.

Absolutely brilliant piece of kit. The sound gets better with use. Lovely deep bass and very clear treble. Fantastic for both films and music. Like I said once the speakers have burnt in the canton comes in to its own. Very very pleased with mine oh and the quality is outstanding.

Could not get the unit to work....until I realised that you have to tum the units volume control way past 15 (99max). By which time I had already booked a return!Only a day in and getting used to it. Great clear sound after playing with the bass and treble.
