As a simple "point and shoot " camera, it works fairly well. The zoom , being optical, allows you to get finer distance shots than those of most phone cameras. It is certainly small and fits easily into your trouser pockets with ease. The bulk of the shell is metal, rather than plastic which makes for a quality feel to the camera.Good points: simple to use in "auto mode" , takes better snaps than most phones, light and very portable.Points not so good: low light shots not brilliant . Flash infill hard to set as are most of the manual controls Menus. Not as easy to switch to video mode (except when you don't want it). The battery is very small and will only last about 125 shots (I wondered why Amazon suggested spare batteries),

Had to learn how to use this very quickly as I got it 48hours before I left for a holiday. I found it user friendly and I love purple so it went well with my accessories. :) I discovered features by accident such as the creative shots. taking short video shots rather than endless photos was useful. I liked the zoom too, this was particularly handy for the mountain landscape shots I was taking. I found it a bit odd how you charge it though. You charge the battery separately which meant I had to carry around a cumbersome charging unit and huge mains plug. That's a minus. Canon!!!! Its handy for info share as it has wifi facility. All in All it was useful for me as i am not a photo geek,

I bought this camera a couple of weeks ago and love the lightness of the camera! Easy to transport and as it is pocket size it’s great to fit in my handbag! Pictures are very clear ! Easy to follow instructions! As a person who hasn’t used a camera in a long time due to mobile phones! This camera is deal to start with as it is so easy to use and canon is a very good make! Which I love! I am now wanting to get back into using a camera as a hobby and wouldLike to work myself up to using more detailed canon cameras as time goes on as I want to take photos as a hobby!

I purchased this today and have found it very easy to set up using self explanatory menus on camera. Easily setup to my wifi and so far it does everything promised. I have only taken a few photos and 2 video clips - Able to transfer,save and edit pictures and videos. So far I am over the moon with my purchase. Picture quality is very good,clear and crisp.Only criticism so far is the build seems quite flimsy, especially the lens cover, so fairly careful handling required.

Great size for just carrying around without the need for additional bags. Zoom seems to work well compared to my old camera and eventually managed to get WiFi transfers to work.Have ordered a USB cable as I suspect this will be easier and doesn't come as standard in the box. Also ordered a memory card as it comes with just the camera internal memory.Overall seems a very good product as it was the neatness and size which was most important to me on this occasion.

just purchased this camera to replace an older panasonic camera and the picture quality is amazing, great zoom and easy to use, has a very quick set up and once you have installed a memory card off you go, good size screen and the camera is very light and easy to carry about, if you are looking for a good camera for your holiday or for general use then buy this one, you wont be disappointed .

As I have little knowledge of cameras, I am finding myself surprised with the ease of access to some great features in this camera. It is wonderfully light weight, and feels good quality when holding it and operating it. I use it when I go hiking and have got some wonderful shots. It is really good for close up pics such as flowers etc. Overall I am more than pleased!

Excellent, hand held compact camera. Takes brilliant pictures. Does exactly what it says on the box.Bought this as a replacement for one that was stolen a couple of years ago. Had others in the meantime, but nothing has measured up to the Canon.

It was overall pretty good for the money but it was quite slow to connect to my other devices and had not time lapse and it took longer than it would with any other canon camera to upload videos even if they were the same length of time.

my old camera although good was getting a bit tired and the pics were slightly milky.. Thought I would try a Canon... this camera is compact ….. zooms whilst taking movies and images are sharp and clear

It does everything I want - and more. Plenty of features to explore when I want to extend my capabilities. Incredible that so much has been included in such a small package without sacrificing quality.

Great little camera. So small - you could put it in your pocket and almost forget it's there. Takes great photo in all conditions. Thoroughly recommend it,

Handy little camera does what it says on the package . I found it quite simple to use as most cameras have pretty much the same format.
