Excellent little camera.Very lightweight. Good at consecutive shooting, and the pictures are amazing. I've used it at pop concerts (where using the flash isn't an option) and am really pleased at the results! There's also a Creative setting. you take the photo and it takes 6 images, various styles and creative options, automatically. The results can be at times really fantastic. The battery keeps going for a long time, takes SD Cards. The flash doesn't fire automatically, you just move a switch at the side and it pops up.If you are looking for a good quality camera, easy to use that takes excellent photos I can highly recommend this.At times the images are better that those taken with my DSLR!!!

I bought this to replace a Lumix I've carried around with me everywhere for about 6 years. The Powershot is about the same size, but lighter. It doesn't feel as sturdy but I can live with that as the pictures I can get with it are brilliant! I like the fact that it has a decent zoom capacity, and that you can set it to take pics at high resolution. As I often need to submit images for art exhibitions/competitions I'm disappointed that the DPI is only 180 as I usually need to send them at 300, but hey, it's a great little camera for almost everything else. I even managed to photograph a bee, in focus, with pollen all over it, and I've never done that before with ANY of my cameras!

Compared with the three Canon Ixus models I have previously owned, this model is quite bulky but the 25x zoom is a bonus. My only gripes are the manually operated pop-up flash (why not built into the body?), the lanyard (wore thin after one week of daily use), the horizontal Velcro strips on the case soon frayed, and there is no loop to slide the case onto a trouser belt. The latter would be extremely useful if, like me, you do a lot of walking and want quick access to take photos along the way.

On 3rd day of use, battery showed 3 bars (full charge) first thing, so I didn't charge it before going out. After an hour it went down to 2 bars, then flashed red and cut out shortly afterwards. So, charge every couple of days, even if it shows full.No computer cable included - but has micro USB and mini HDMI port, so use a cable from another device.Manual is a pdf to download. My previous camera was also a Powershot, and I was able to find everything I wanted without needing the manual.

It's not the best camera in the world, let's be honest. But for the price it's great. I'd prefer it a bit bulkier or maybe grippier. It's actually too small for my liking. Picture quality is satisfactory. Much better outside in daylight than inside. Pictures of moving objects taken in low light with flash are appalling, but I believe this problem refers to most small compacts. Generally speaking, if you're realistic about what you're going to get for this price, you'll be happy with this camera.

Less bulky than a bridge & DSLR with same features: 20MP. 25x zoom, & Wi-Fi to share to smartphone. Plus it fits in my handbag!Pros: This bundle provided a case & card for same price as camera-only elsewhere (albeit the case is a bit big)Cons: No instruction booklet - not even the basics - I had problems connecting the Wi-Fi to my mobile & ended up taking camera back to Argos where kindly assistant took 30 mins to sort. 157 page online booklet now downloaded! mini version would be nice.

I am so impressed with this little camera after a week but am still discovering new features every day. I had to download the full instructions and you do need these to explore the more intricate functions. It produces great photos and the movies are easy to start, finish and watch. It comes with its own dedicated battery charger. I am so impressed with the zoom characteristics of this camera which can bring in a far distant object very close-amazingly close! All in all, a brilliant camera.

An excellent camera which performs just like its bigger brothers. It fits neatly into a pocket. Its battery life is phenomenal. If there is a problem it is because it has so many features that trying to master them is difficult. It has great features like being able to send your poictures from your camera wirelessly to a Canon server which forwards the pictures to you. Saves physically removing the memory card (and forgetting to replace it) or coinnecting your camera to your pc/laptop etc.

I bought this camera as there are times when you don't want to be lugging a DSLR and associated lenses etc, and want a compact camera. The image quality is superb, the camera turns on pretty much instantly and fits neatly into my pocket. The image quality is outstanding, and the Zoom, coupled with the Image stabilisation is a perfect match. The WiFi connected to the app on my phone flawlessly. The bag is great for storing all the bits together, but is a little bulky for daily use.

Decent size camera with a good zoom lens, can fit in my pocket comfortably, though the bundled case is considerably larger so would need to go in a backpack for travelling. Zoom is the best feature, up to 100x with digital zoom. Features are interesting but I don't see a lot of them as particularly useful, whilst potentially more useful things such as time-lapse, panorama and aperture control are not included. Focus is generally quick and accurate except when zoomed in and in low light.

Good packaging, includes all needed to start taking more professional looking photos. The camera itself is great, the display on the back is bright & vibrant whilst giving all the detail you need to capture a great snap, the optical zoom followed by digital zoom is great at letting you zoom in on far items while still getting great quality. The Lense itself is great, has a fast default capture rate allowing fast moving objects to be captured easily while still being easy for a beginner.

For the price it's a brilliant little camera. It's not perfect and the picture is not always as focused as it could be, esp. with movement. But overall it works great, it's light and easy to use. Might be hard to use for people with bigger or arthritic hands because it's tiny. Occasionally an error message pops out and the camera switches itself off. I'd recommend it for people who take photos on holiday or at social occasions and don't have very high expectations from their camera.

Review for: Canon PowerShot SX620 HSFor its size & cost it is a good camera. It is a small camera that can do the job of bigger cameras with its zoom. Ideal for things like concerts or events with its 25x zoom and light, being small it is portable. On the minus side the batteries cannot be charged whilst in the camera and need a special recharger, unlike other cameras. The batteries do last a long time, but do go from full power to low without much warning from the display.

Bought this as a small light camera to go in a pocket for occasional use. It isn't as adaptable as some others, i.e. You can adjust some of the settings, but there's no aperture priority or shutter priority setting. However, it seems to be a well developed all-auto camera, which generally works well. Good zoom range, which is useable due to the anti-vibration feature. Great idea to include a case and card. Case is big enough for spare battery and cards and well padded.

Bought camera from Argos and started to take pictures. Then could not download them. Called Canon, were very helpful. Went back to Argos no arguments replaced the Camera. Now all works really well. Great little Camera, small enough to take anywhere. For the price does a lot that more expensive cameras don't do. wish that the 'bag' they give you for the camers was much smaller as although it has a belt attachment, it is just to big. All in all a very good compact camera.
