Firstly, this lens cap isn't for the 200mm F2 lens. Its for the 300mm F2.8 MKI & MKII Lens.Amazon has listed it incorrectly.Fortunately I was actually after a lens cap for my 300mm 2.8. The E-145C is listed as fitting this lens (Along with the 200mm & 400mm) The cap arrived and I was fully expecting the 200mm embroidered lens cap (As ordered) What turned up was even better, it was the 300mm cap. They are embroidered on the tab where it velcro's together. The one I received had 300mm embroidered on the tab.This lens cap fits the hood when fitted for shooting and in the reverse position.The material is thick woven and is well made.I would have no hesitation in recommending this lens hood for

This turned out to be the new version of the lens cap. It has 4 lenses marked on it. 200mm, 300mm, 400 DO and 200-400mm, which was exactly what I wanted. The picture on the item only shows the older 300mm design.

My older lens cap was ill fitting and drove me nuts. I was delighted to purchase this and it's great. No problem with the fitting either.
