Today it does seem that the production of Gin is increasing and can be from any part of the country. It’s such a popular drink particularly with hip youngsters. This label is certainly eye catching and a new one to me. This gin heralds from Scotland and Aberdeenshire to be more exact. It’s a small batch hand crafted product. These gins all have their own unique flavour and Lone Wolf has a wicked forest flavour derived from Scots Pine; Tuscan Juniper; along with the peel of both grapefruit and lemons plus several spicy ingredients such as Pink Peppercorns; Orris Root; Mace; Cardamom etc...it does have a bit of a bite but all very pleasant. All of these elements make the impact of this high quality product a great gin to drink on its own or with a variety of mixers. It’s ideal as a traditional G&T for example but equally as appealing With Elderflower fizz as the mixer. Plenty of ice and a slice of lemon what could be more refreshing on a warm evening.Price wise this is very much in line with other small batch labels and I’m sure that once tried this is a product you’ll want to keep in the drinks cupboard.

I'm not much of a gin drinker, as a rule. Gin is a spirit where I can't stomach the cheap budget ones but can enjoy a nicer gin with fresh orange juice or lemonade. Always with a mixer! This LoneWolf dry gin definitely fits the description of a gin that I can drink quite happily, and that goes very well with a Cornish Orchards lemonade or orange sparkle. There's a depth of flavour that's definitely lacking in standard supermarket gin.I have some issues with BrewDog and their decision to trademark the word punk in association with their products, which is the antithesis of the punk ethos, however edgy or well-meaning they try to depict themselves as a brand. There was always going to be a successful company coming along and trying to do this, but BrewDog seem to be the ones that managed it, and I'm less than sympathetic towards any of their PR about protecting their brand and intellectual properties. However, that is just marketing, and the gin itself is a good one, better than most that I've tried.

It wasn’t until around 10 years ago that I started to enjoy gin and tonics. But with the advent of premium gins, and high quality tonics, my tastes buds got a liking for the long drink.I think this is the first gin I’ve had from a company renowned for its beers. I love Brewdog’s Elvis Juice, so I was curious to see what their gin would be like.It has quite a perfumed smell when you open the bottle, which nearly put me off, but the scent is subtle once mixed with fresh lime and a good quality tonic. I used one pub measure, with a small can of tonic, and half a lime, with plenty of ice.It has an excellent taste, you can tell Brewdog have used quality ingredients. It’s not harsh to drink like some cheap gins. You may ask, “Why not five stars?”. Well, don’t get me wrong, 4 stars is great, and I would drink it again, but it didn’t quite stand out. There are several other premium small batch gins, that taste very similar, and don’t stick out ahead of the field.

This is described as a gin with bite and I can definitely agree with that. The juniper comes through powerfully and at 40% alcohol it's slightly stronger than many other gins which seem weak and insipid compared to this.Of course, gins are not meant to be drunk neat and some of the impact is diluted when mixed with tonic and other ingredients as a cocktail. However, many of the herbal and citrus notes can still be detected in the mix.It has a strong graphically-designed image of a fearsome wolf on the label and the company name "Brewdog Distilling Co" suggest a woodsy and feral background to the distilling process, further reinforced by the rather pretentious label notes. As well as a fanciful description of its inception, it is also described as "small batch" and "hand crafted" which may well contribute to its quality.Scotland, of course, is well known for its distilleries and this product will no doubt be a successful addition to that tradition.

I love gin and have a cupboard full of different brands and flavours. I recently visited three different gin distilleries and tried a few of their products while there. As I opened this bottle the aroma was just perfect, fresh and full of juniper. I like the fact that this has a natural cork stopper and is in a nice glass bottle with an interesting label too. This is a lovely high-quality gin, it is fully created by Brewdog and not just an alcohol with botanicals added. It tastes great, fresh and strongly juniper and works well with tonic and a slice of lemon or lime. Personally, I like a plain tonic or one that is herby or not too sweet and this works well with those.I didn't know Bewdog made gin before trying this.My husband is a huge fan of their beers and now I can enjoy a gin from the same company. !I highly recommend this gin and will be buying it again in future.

This is a really lovely gin which is incredibly easy to drink neat or on the rocks if you're a serious gin fan, and just as easy to drink with a light spritzer if needed - especially just a tonic or otherwise a very subtlety flavoured citrus based sparking water.Whilst there are a lot of flavours to give this a very full body with good depth, none of those flavours are over powering or over bearing to the overall taste which remains subtle despite a lot going on. The strongest notes for me are the grapefruit and the lemongrass but with a definite base of pine and juniper in the background - it's lovely. The bottle itself is OK and very modern/current I suppose but if anything I feel a gin suchas this could easily have gotten away with something a little richer in terms of branding/design.A gin that was frustratingly easy to almost polish off in a single tasting session!

Initially I wasn't sure. I'd got so used to what had become my go-to favourite gin: Williams GB, which is unique in my experience. This gin is very different indeed - but it has now become one of my favourites. It's simply so moorish.I only drink gin with ice, lemon and Schweppes tonic, but, despite the mixer, I can easily tell the difference between the spirit content. I started years ago preferring Gordons (now only 37.5%, sadly), then found Beefeater (still 40%!) which stayed a favourite for years. Now we are spoiled for choice. Last year, I discovered Williams GB and came to truly enjoy its "flowery" character but... LoneWolf is different indeed. It's pricey and, if you feel it's too expensive,it isn't a world away from Beefeater. But... it's far enough away to be a really worthwhile treat, with just more - lots more - of whatever makes for such a refreshing taste.

I'm not generally a big gin drinker and tend to lean more towards Vodka, Whisky or Rum when drinking spirits but I'm really impressed with this one which doesn't seem to have the harsh taste other gin's I've tried in the past have had.I recognise the brand BrewDog as I have friends who are fans of their craft beers based up in Scotland and I love that it is a UK company based in Aberdeenshire. My Husband and I have tried this with Fevertree and lemonade but having read the other reviews I'm going to have to try it with Ginger Ale I think.A nice milder tasting gin than others we have tried and I would definitely consider purchasing this in the future.

Absolutely delicious gin!I’m aware of Brewdog as a company and admire their ethos of using quality products and putting their own spin on traditional flavours. I have previously tried their lagers and beers and was surprised to see they have produced a gin (my favourite tipple).I followed their recommendation of trying with a slice (and rubbed over the glass rim) of pink grapefruit and was pleasantly surprised. This is a sublime gin - one I will be buying as my go to gin.Subtle citrus flavours with botanical hints. Truly delicious with a good tonic water (I used Fevertree).Highly recommended gin - will definitely buy again! Chin chin!!!?

Usually i find gin can be a little plain, And only seems to be good as a mixer with other flavours. This dry gin however has smooth yet complex exotic taste which comes from an unusual hint of citrus and mild Thai flavours. This gin is gentle yet strong enough to dance on my tongue with its own unique personality.Unlike other gins, This mouthwatering Scottish born delight tastes pure and very refined. There is no nasty aftertaste, And the complex flavours all work in harmony. It balances perfectly with any kind of mixer, Giving me the ideal late night boost, And satisfying relaxing feeling after a long day.

I've a fairly recent convert to enjoying a nice gin so am definitely no expert. I tend to like the smooth, subtle and interesting flavoured gins more than others and found this one just a little harsh in comparison. It'd be wrong to say that I didn't enjoy it as, after a few mouthfuls, I got used to the taste and quite enjoyed the rest of the glass. However, I didn't find it quite as instantly enjoyable as others and so have docked a star. The bottle looks great and the gin seems reasonably priced and is made here in the UK, so I'm sure that this will gather quite a following.

This Gin is perfect to go with a ginger ale and a slice of orange, there is nothing better on a summers day. LoneWolf is a trusted and consistent brand. This flavour has so many different notes but some how come together perfectly. This is without doubt my new favourite Gin.This will appeal to those who prefer a subtle flavour, its mild and not too overpowering. If you haven't tried it with ginger ale then you are missing a treat, perhaps add a slice of cucumber too and it will lift it to another level! Believe me you won't go back.

Okay, so I am not a gin drinker, so I had to share this with someone who is to get a fair and balanced review.Tasted neat, it was smooth, with a piney lilac vibe. Quite easy to drink, goes down smoothly. This gin doesn't coat your tongue like most.Adding tonic and a lemon slice brought it to life. There are so many hints of flavor with every sip from nutty, to lemony, to peppery and I am sure that this will continue with the next glass, and the next after that. Good to enjoy on a warm summer evening or a cold winter night.

I would have never associated Brewdog with gin, but having tried other products by them I jumped at the chance to sample the LoneWolf London Dry gin. I was pleasantly surprised. My wife loves gin and we both agree that this is our new favourite. It has a smooth taste, no harsh notes and goes well over ice or with a good quality tonic. It is a milder tasting gin that sits well on the palate. The bottle is well designed and perfect for giving. I can see this going down well amongst friends and family.

This is a new gin from Brewdog. It definitely packs a bit of a bite - with strong flavours of juniper and citrus coming through. I find the taste a bit more harsh than other gins in a similar price point, which likely comes from the 40% alcohol vol. It is not a type of gin you could drink neat, but makes very good gin and tonics. Overall, this is a very nice offering from Brewdog and well worth a try if you are a gin lover.
