I have been a Braun razor user for some while, but didn't really know just how long I have been dragging the original blade/foil across my face. When I checked I was quite surprised seems it was over two years. That would explainI thought, why there was a strange whirring noise being emitted when I switched the razor on. I also assumed it was the reason that the razor was starting to 'tug' at the whiskers. Could it also be the reason why the odd whisker was continually being missed??I invested in this replacement head and was bemused that the strange whirring ceased when switched and that it was running much quieter. No more tugging has been experienced either.

The CoolTec shavers from Braun are just fine and once upon a time were a clear winner in terms of value vs the Series 9 (I own both) in that it may be 'only' 90% as good a shave, but at less than 40% of the price, it was a no brainer. Plus, the cooling bit actually cooled. And what nerd doesn't like a gadgetty gimmick?!Time have changed and the prices are closer, but still.... The replacement head works and the shaver does a good job.

Bought my wet/dry shaver in Dec 2015, I suffer from heavy stubble with delicate skin and have always used shaving oil which seems to have extended the life of the blades, as I was starting to get irritation during and after shaving in recent months I ordered a replacement blade and foil set (51B), fitted both and now everything is back to normal, a close shave with no irritation or redness!

The cartridge arrived quickly and was replaced with little effort. It meant i did not have to buy a new shaver since the old one is now as good as new and i can have a very close shave. I take medication and bleeding is not an option. I have had this shaver for a number of years and the new cartridge means that i can keep and use my shaver for many more years to come.

Very happy to give 5 stars on this, I had not replaced my shaver head for several years and now that I have I was amazed at the difference it has made to getting a close shave again. Arrived very quickly and just snaps onto the body of the shaver. I will not wait so long for my next one.

Very nearly bought a new shaver but couldn't decide which one so decided to try replacement head for mine. Its now like a new shaver, cuts really close and although the price seems expensive, it has saved me alot of money on the price i was going to pay for a complete new one

I haven't used this product yet I bought in advance because my foil is due to be replaced over Christmas and the post is always busy. My only concern is that it's not a fake product I have relied on all the other reviews that seem give me convidence.

This is an authentic Braun replacement part. It arrived within a couple of days, fitted perfectly and was about £10 cheaper than at the high street shop where the razor was originally bought. The razor is now as good as new.

Don't waste money buying a new shaver - replacing the foil and cutter will transform your shaver to like new. I wish I'd replaced mine earlier - having struggled with a poor shave for many months, this was a transformation.

Purchased these for my dad. Arrived on time and exactly as stated. They were the perfect fit for his razor and I have absolutely no concerns. Would recommend if they are made for your specific razor.

Renewed my shaver performance, couldn't use it before because of pulling. Shame the original cutter only lasted 9 months instead of the 18 months that Braun claim. Hope this one lasts a bit longer

I have had several or these shaver heads and they work fine - otherwise I would have bought another electric razor. I just wait until the price drops to a reasonable level before I purchase.

I am very happy now that my razor is just like new again, great price and quick delivery. Not much more I can say but I happily recommend that you replace your old head with one of these.

Totally renewed the shaver life. My husband was thinking he would need to purchase a new shaver. Very impressed by seller. Delivery service was great. Cost much less than a new one.

This replacement foil and cutter is better quality than the original foil that came with the shaver when first purchased & came within a week from being ordered from Japan i believe
