Day 1 Thursday 12 DecemberToday the Bose SoundSport Wireless arrived for me to test and review over the next 4 weeks.First impression: The design of the box and packaging is lovely quality, all very beautifully presented. Instantly you know you’re getting a really good product. To be honest, I wouldn't expect anything less from Bose.I have always struggled to find a pair in ear headphones/earbuds that do not fall out of my ears. Every pair I have tried previously have fallen out, so I have always avoided them and bought over ear headphones. When I was selected to test these headphones, I was already sceptical.Upon opening the box and looking inside it, you will find the headphones themselves,a small sip up carry pouch, USB charger and some very user friendly instructions. You are supplied with 3 different sizes of ‘sport tips’. S, M and L, this allows you to find the best/perfect fit. I opted for the size S. Placing the headphones into my ears and wearing them for the first time was very easy. Once you have positioned them in your ears, you give the headphones a slight twist which tucks them neatly and securely into the ridge of your ear. They are extremely comfortable to wear as the sport tips are made of very soft silicon. Choosing size S was the right size for me. A perfect fit.To test the fit, I started headbanging, swinging my head from side to side, jumping around, my husband thought I’d gone mad. The headphones did not budge! I have a couple of piercings in both ears and the tragus piercing has usually got in the way or interfered with wearing in-ear headphones. These weren't affected by the piercing at all. They fitted both my ears perfectly...as though they were made for my ears.I downloaded the Bose app to my mobile and the headphones and my Bluetooth immediately paired. I read the fool proof instructions and turned the headphones on. I was not disappointed. The sound is superb. They are clear and very loud. Turns out my singing is worse when I can’t hear myself. The battery life was around 50% without me needing to charge them before using them for the first time.Day 2 Friday 13 December.I charged the headphones at home to make sure the battery life was up to 100% (which didn’t take very long at all) and I brought the headphones to use at work. I mentioned earlier the headphones come with a portable USB charger and small carrycase/pouch for convenience.Wearing my headphones at work all day made my day fly in, it went extremely quickly. I sit in close proximity to my work colleagues and they could not hear my music or what I was listening to.On the right hand side of the wire that connects the two headphones is a small control panel. This is where you can turn the volume of the music up and down and you can also pause and mute your music meaning when someone talked to me, I didn't need to keep removing the headphones to hear them.My day went extremely quick, I had a couple of reports to write and didn’t want to be disturbed. The headphones were used all day and I have only used 20% of the battery life.Day 3 Saturday 14 DecemberThis morning I went to my regular bootcamp session. Lots of getting down for burpees & press ups, jumping, running, skipping. Loads of exercises. The headphones stayed securely in place the entire time I was wearing them. I didn’t have to adjust them at all. These headphones claim to be sweat resistant and they really are, they are perfect for sportts. They are really bloody good. Wow. Wow. WOW!The most amazing thing about these is obviously the SOUND. I mean... THE SOUND. The kind of music that plays off these headphones is like someone has finely tuned every part of the sound signature so that it's absolutely faultless, and the sound is just soooooo nice that it feels like every instrument is alive, especially the bass, that is arguably the best at ANY price. I've got the Bose QC35s and Audio Technica ATH-50Xs, and have tried the Sony 1000XM2, Sennheiser, B&O you name it... They just can't beat these Soundsport Wirelesses. They're a banging set of earphones that can make every day an awesome one - I wear mine literally after I wake up, and your mood just CHANGES.Like that. It's incredible. Clarity, treble, just the rhythm and sense of atmosphere and occasion you get with these are among the best things about them. It's more than a set of machinery, it makes you FEEL good. It makes you feel amazing.Other massive Over Ears may be able to sound GOOD, but these are just so portable and convenient to carry everywhere, and that's what I did. You can use them wherever you want.Unfortunately, I lost mine when I crashed my bike, but I will most definitely buy another because these are among the best - even comparing to £2000+ Marshall headphones that I've tried. And I really mean it.After I lost them, you really get to appreciate just how much you depend on them. Going back to wires is one of the most inconvenient things you'll experience: just untangling the long cable, finding a space to put them in your pocket without tangling them again etc etc.. Just the fact of having completely WIRELESS music playing is brilliant. You can just move around, doing normal things without having to worry about where you're phone is etc.. It's PERFECT if you lead an active lifestyle or just likes to listen to music as you do stuff around the house without disturbing anyone etc..It's just so easy to take them out, press the button and BAM you're listening to your favourite tunes that just sound perfect. Battery life and DURABILITY is also really good. I wear these when I go to sleep (I'm a rough sleeper), and still have 60% battery after finishing my whole Spotify Playlist. I toss and tumble a lot when I sleep, so I sometimes even wake up on top of my headphones, and they still work like the day it was opened from the box. I did NOT treat these headphones nicely, tossing them around and accidentally bumping walls with the headphones in my pocket. It's amazing how strong they are, they feel like a quality product that won't break anytime soon.If you're on the fence of making a purchase. I say GO FOR IT. You most definitely will not regret it. Yes, they stick out rather conspicuously, and to be honest, that's the only downside. Although they are also EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE. I was able to wear these hours on end without any discomfort whatsoever, the most comfortable ones I've owned. The QC35s are light and comfortable yes, but after a long time wearing them, especially on Summer days, your ears get a little warm. These never get warm (unless you're an oven inside). But you get used to them, and you barely notice them, they're so much lighter than they look, just like a normal set of earphones. I honestly don't know how I'm gonna live without them. Guess it's time to save up again haha

So I have been using this product for the past week and must say it has lived up to a lot of its hyped qualities as being part of the Bose family. Out of the amazing detailed box which feels like you are opening the crown jewels, its wonderfully easy to use and will detect your phone immediately. I have an iPhone, so also downloaded the Bose app on the store to make connection even simpler. The product came with a fully charged battery, so you can connect it and are ready to go. The earplugs came set to fit my ear perfectly, so didn't even need to use the extra pieces to make them smaller/bigger, so this was great (as if Bose already knew :)) Switching the headphones on couldn't be easier,a simple button on the right ear and it will even tell you how much battery is left, so you know if you can go on a long journey, ride, run, ect... Then the sound, what can I say, it's true Bose quality. I could hear the sounds so clearly and the background noise of a busy city, seemed so far away. It transported me to my music and just focus on me and my journey ahead (in this case it was walking the dog) The bass sounded great when listening to my favorite tunes and even when switching to the radio, the sound was so clear and fresh, as if I was in the studio with the MC's. After adjusting to the slightly heavier earplugs (as the battery and transmitter are in the earplugs) I even forgot they were there and went into a world of my own.. I must have walked the dog for 2 hours, which he loved :) while listening to my music and when I got home, I even still had 60% battery left on the earplugs and best of all, my phone still had a lot of charge, so these plugs are even good for your phone battery by not draining them completely after listening, which I thought they may had done, due to the streaming quality and effort they must have put into streaming such amazing quality. The only negative I would have with these, is making phone calls. As you feel so isolated with a lot of the back ground noise gone, it feels like you have to shout when making a call, as you cant hardly hear yourself speak, this is how good these plugs are at isolating the sound, but the call quality of sound is still amazing. So all in all, I would like to say that these plugs are probably the best I have ever used and I have been buying and testing headphones for the past 25+ years and have bought the usual cheap headphones to the more expensive overhead cans.. But so far, nothing can beat these Bose wireless headphones which aren't even that expensive. So if you buy one headphone this year (or for the next 5 years) I would say, buy these and you will not be disappointed at all, this can be guaranteed.. Bose stands for quality and this shows 100% on all levels.

I've been looking for a pair of bluetooth earphones to use when running and I have to say these are pretty much exactly what I was wanting from a pair. The main issue with the other bluetooth headphones i'd tried were that they never stayed put on a run, i had to constantly re-adjust them or in some cases they just fell out. So i was hoping that these would fair better. First off the packaging looked and felt premium, which I would expect from Bose. The headphones themselves look great and the design of the earplugs is very interesting, but more of that in a minute... NFC equipped phones can use this functionality to pair easily. My iPhone 6 doesn't have NFC (well it does but only for Apple Pay!)but the Bose Connect app made the process simple. You put the earphones into pairing mode and the app sees them and connects. Done.Next up was the fit. As I mentioned the design is interesting and as it turns out genius! The main issue with in ear sports headphones is that the buds need to be snug in the ear to ensure the bass is strong enough. When running they invariably move and then the bass goes which means a lot of fiddling around mid run. These buds aren't round like standard in ear buds, they are cleverly shaped so that they form a good seal in your ear without needing to be shoved right in your ear hole. This means that the bass response isn't quite as deep as it could be but its plenty strong and punchy as far as I'm concerned. The other design element that works is the rubber bit that locks into your ear. This ensures that the headphones don't move in your ear. I'd always been wary of these types of earphones as they just look like they will be uncomfortable. In this case the design of the piece and the material mean that they are anything but uncomfortable. They are so comfy and they just don't move. On a 10k run the other day i didn't need to adjust them once. There is also a little clip on the back of the cord to clip to your top so the they can hang around your neck when not in use. The added use of this is that i means the cord doesn't bounce up and down when running with them in.On the sound front they hit the mark as well. the bass is nice and punchy and there is good separation between the instruments. If i was to grumble then I could do with a bit more top end, but as I mainly want these to pump out some beats when running this isn't a major issue for me.All in all I'm over the moon with these and my search for the perfect running earphones is finally over. I'm over the moon with them.

Design and BuildThe Bose Soundsport Wireless Headphones arrived in a well made, appealing foldout box that oozes quality. Connect the USB charging lead and the headphones are charged in little over an hour. When switched on they tell you what percentage of battery is available to you.The ear bud design instantly impresses and first impressions don’t let you down. The ear buds fit securely and are very comfortable in prolonged use, with no annoying sound leakage to disturb others. Bose’s Wireless in-ears have an umbilical cable running between left and right ear pieces. So, despite connecting to your source via Bluetooth, I suppose they aren't truly wireless. That said the cord is not a distraction, and is not even noticed when running or cycling.SoundBose headphones are both stable and comfortable. We didn't suffer any drops in signal and with the decent fit, there's enough full-bodied bass portrayed to keep everyone happy.Dynamics, detail and timing are crucial to how a speaker sounds – for headphones are simply small speakers. Treble notes are crisp and clear, while bass notes are reasonably articulate. There’s no edginess to vocals, no over-bearing bass. Both frequency extremes seem well-behaved with no uncomfortable sharpness to speak of.Listening to Mike & the Mechanics, Mea Culpa, in the underlying rhythm, there is a repeating 4 beats in quick succession, revealed to me by my many thousand pound Cyrus system. I first tried my old trusty Sennheiser HD600 which cost £150 15yrs ago, they only managed to reveal 2 beats. Then I tried my prestige series Grado SR325 costing £325, they also only managed to reveal 2 beats. Finally to the Bose soundsport wireless headphones, they too managed to reveal 2 beats, so I’m happy to say the Bose headphones can stand tall in good company.Incidentally, I did play Mea Culpa in my Bose Wave music system III, which managed to reveal 3 of the four beats. With the Disturbed’s, The Sound of Silence, the raw heartfelt emotion of the vocals was portrayed with clarity and timing, very pleasing listening experience.Mike Oldfield’s, Far Above the Clouds, was equally pleasing with only slight compression on the striking of, Tubular bells. My daughter, 12yrs old, impatiently declared, it was her turn, and happily settled down with Amy MacDonald’s This is the Life, gently rocking in her seat while reading Harry Potter. All in all, these are very capable headphones, with good build, pleasing sound quality, and are certainly fit for purpose.

Well, I got these as I wanted something that was wireless but had great comfort and a sensible battery life, I have the Bose noise canceling earbuds and I have been really impressed with them from comfort and quality of the product, I was sure that these wouldn't disappoint. When I got the earphones I must say I was impressed with the packaging, Bose have really put a lot of effort in to all areas, the box has a slip sleeve the has the features and benefits shown. The box then has to flaps that open up and you are presented with the headphones laid out infant of you, the box has some text on the inner flaps and talks about the new Bose Connect app.The first thing you notice is the weight,or lack of it they weigh no more than a standard set of earphones pretty much, I tried them in my ear with the standard tip that were already fitted to them and they are so comfortable they feel like you don't have them on, in the past with other brands of in ear headphones I have suffered with ear ache from the buds not being that comfortable; these fit perfectly I am pleased to report, it really shows that the little details don't get looked over.Once charged (the micro USB is hidden behind a discreet flap) I downloaded the Bose app and turned on the earphones, they have all the conventional buttons +, -, mode button and the On/ Off, on the inner side there is 2 status LEDs, pairing was nice and easy the app found them (this isn't needed to use them) in the app you can turn off and select the devices that it is paired to and control the volume.I took them out for a run and being open (you can hear the outside noises) they are fantastic they have the right balance between the music and external sound, on one song on my iPhone there is some breathing at the start that I hadn't heard before and was looking round for someone; alas it was the quality speakers that was portraying all the sounds in the song. The earphones also feature a microphone in the remote which means that phone calls are handled with ease, I have answered a few calls on them and not received any reports that I couldn't be heard etcBattery life hasn't been an issue and for the size I'm surprised they last 6 hours. These are defiantly value for money the product is worth every penny, another great product from Bose, I would recommend these for anyone after some earphones be it for using at the gym or riding a bike or just walking - you won't be disappointed

I'm upgrading from the senheisser momentum wired in earheadphones as I kept on damaging the cable in the gym and having to get them replaced. ProsFirstly the sound quality is infinitely better than the sennheiser momentum, they were "which" mag product of the year so my expectations were already high. There is deep rich bass and sets ive heard countless times sound brand new, low frequencies and rumbles are brilliant. They are lightweight and fit well in the ear and are really easy to pair with your phone and use. Ive experienced no issue with dropout of music or cutting or skipping. Great for the gym which is why I brought them they make my workouts so much easier and tangle free as I'moften squatting with a lifting belt and my old pair would get caught or snag Cons My previous headphones were so much better at blocking out ambient sound, these do not block out road traffic as well as sennheiser and for me that was a big distraction, I've got used to having them a little louder which isn't ideal for my long term hearing health. For this reason I'm considering possibly upgrading to the qc30 wireless bose with adjustable noise cancellation. They stick out quite far out of your ear so ive had the occasional weird look and comment from mates who say they look dumb but it's not a big issue if they sound great I couldn't care less, also the battery had to go somewhere and it's probably better than the neck choker design of their better QC model. Battery life is not great, 6 hours is nothing but if your smart and get into a routine to charge them each evening you will be fine. I carry a portable battery pack from rav power which is ideal for my phone and headphones and charges multiple devices several times on a single charge. For the short battery life I'm considering again upgrading to the QC30 wireless bose which will be 10 hours. I am worried over time the battery will not ladt but with 2 year warranty It should be fine. Although the earphone buds never fall out they are a little uncomfortable ive tried all sizes and I must have a funny ear or something as they make my ears ache if I use them too much. Overall the quality of sound still makes them a worthy purchase and I'm getting used to the sound leaking. If the QC30 noise cancelling blows me away I'll upgrade but these are great for regular gym users, and I love them for now I can't stop using them

I have always wanted to get my hands on a pair of wireless headphones, with there being so many options out there it is hard to decide what to pick. Luckily I have had the opportunity to get my hands on a pair of these SoundSports and overall they have been a great investment. First of all I will talk about their practicality. For a start, from what I am normally use to, these are the future and I would not go back to 'normal' headphones, weather that be wired in ear, earpods or over the headphones. They are brilliant, not only for what they are intended for, mainly sports, but for everyday routines. I have used these when going to the shops, journeys on the train. They are that simple to plonk in and require minimal effort. The battery life has always been my main concern, but I own a smartphone and it lasts pretty much the same amount of time as that, so it is not a loss as both of the products would die out. I remember being worried about them falling out but their design helps with allowing the headphones to stay in place, plus the added clip if you ever wanted to snap it to the front/back of your top. The wires are long enough to reach around my head luckily and plenty of open space so they do not feel tight or as if I am being choked - the only downside to the design is at times I feel as though I am a nightclub bouncer with these plugs, especially if you wear a black body warmer :)I am a little disappointed in the ear plug design only due to the fact that they hurt my ears, this may be due to me placing them in wrong, but no matter how much I twist it to secure or try to find the 'best spot', I always seem to end up having discomfort in minimal time. I think, personally for myself the best style for my ears are normal pods rather than the in-ear designs. The sound quality was beyond my expectations. They were able to cancel out background noise and when I asked others about the noise leakage, it was only when the sound was on maximum that they could hear the music, which was expected. The sound quality was clear and allowed the freedom to let me listen to my music loud or quiet as I pleased. Overall, I really do enjoy using this product as it is easy to use with connecting up to any device that has bluetooth access and away I go, I think they are just so practical, I would not be able to go a day without wireless headphones now.

I wanted wireless headphones for running, having looked at a multitude of reviews it was difficult to choose - good and bad aspects with them all. I really wanted to see and try some. I finally settled on these because of the 30 day trial - they're expensive, so I wanted to get it right and not be out of pocket. They are larger than I expected and I was concerned I might notice the weight. I tried the small ear pieces, which were ok, but did slip a little, so I reverted back to the medium size. They felt big in my ear at first, but in truth once I got on my run I didnt notice any discomfort or weight and certainly no movement. Ive stayed with the medium size. The key element that was important to me was to experience no loss of or fuzz in sound. They certainly meet this criteria. Occasionally there is a fraction moments pause when I look left to cross a road (doesnt happen when I look right), but really is so small and insignificant - my phone is usually in a back pocket. I have been using these for a couple of months now on many runs - I wouldnt be without them. I run with both ear pieces in, but can still hear ambient noise (cars etc) around me, though not people talking. When you switch them on a voice tells you the level of charge left, yet when switching them off, they just acknowledge with a bleep. Personally, Id like to be told the level of charge when I switch them off so I know if they need recharging after Ive used them (this bit is the only reason a star is dropped). I have no issue with using the phone app to update the software for them, though I noticed some reviewers were not keen on this. The phone app also contains usage instructions. I also bought the charging case as some reviewers recommended it - it wasnt necessary since the earphones themselves come with a nice carry case and charging cable, however, it is a nice sturdy addition and I store the headphones in this when not in use. I think if Id realised a carry case was included, I might not have bought the charging case. I am using the earphones with an iphone 6s, also connected at the same time is a garmin sports watch - they do not interfere with each other at all. The earphones also connect, via blu tooth, to my macbook without any issues.

The Bose wireless SoundSport arrived on time and the product was securely packaged. I was very excited when it arrived, on opening the package I noticed how much detail and care was taken on the presentation. Bose wireless SoundSport packaging is strong and sturdy.Looking at the headphones I thought they would be heavy and bulky when using but actually they are light, comfortable and secure even when I used them on my tread mill or while I was just relaxing and listening music. Setting and pairing wireless headphones is very easy just turn activate Bluetooth option on your phone or any pairing device which has Bluetooth technology and just press the Bluetooth button on right side of wireless headphone.Voice command will guide when pairing and also tell you when battery level is running low.The wireless headphones are of good quality and feels durable. Soft silicone tips sits and feels soft in ear, I tried all three different sizes available to make sure which one fits me best. Like other Bose product, Bose wireless SoundSport also have excellent sound quality. Listening to music is crystal clear even at max volume but if you are looking for complete noise cancellation this is not the product for you. You can also use wireless headphone for phone calls. The range of wireless headphone is pretty good. I tried wireless range by keeping my android phone upstairs and going downstairs garden, I was surprised that I can still hear music from my phone upstairs but eventually music faded away as I went further ahead in the garden. You must remember to disconnect from your smart TV or you will end up with your wife screaming at you because you turned your Bluetooth on and she suddenly lost the volume on her TV. I used the wireless headphones for few hours daily and it’s good to see battery stays charged for a few days. It just takes few hours to recharge fully (I usually charge them while sleeping at night). I use Bose Connect app for my IPad, IPhone, IPod and S5 which helps to manage multiple devices. I also tried to connect Bose wireless SoundSport with my smart TV but it won’t connect to Samsung smart TV’s Bluetooth.Overall Bose SoundSport wireless headphones is a good product with best sound quality.

To be perfectly honest I was very apprehensive to use wireless headphones, mainly due to the cost involved in purchasing and then finding out they don't fit my ear, sound good enough or disconnect. I am very pleased to report that these Bose SoundSport wireless headphones are a smashing piece of kit. The packaging is really sleek and you immediately get the feeling of a quality item. It is simple to pair (I have the iPhone version) and you are ready to use them very quickly. Charging is straight forward (thought I haven't got the charging case) and the battery lasts very well. You have the option of 3 sizes of earbuds. With my other Bose wired headphones I have been using a large option but with these, though I initially thought it wouldn't work, the medium size is perfect and will absolutely not fall out whilst I am exercising. I have gone running with the headphones and used them through 1 hour gym sessions and really enjoyed them. The sound quality is simply....Bose...so no complaints in that department at all. The connection is excellent through bluetooth and I have never experienced a drop. The buttons to raise/lower volume, pause, skip tracks and answer/end class are fantastic and work great and the microphone works as it should. You can also use the headphones to summon SIRI on the iPhone! All an all I can't fault these headphones and have loved the experience of not having to run cables through my t-shirt in order to exercise. I feel I can move freely with no worries on wether they will drop out of my ears or start tugging which is the case with wired options. All and all...5 STARS.If you haven't tried wireless headphones, Bose is a great place to start. Please note that due to the controls being on the right hand side, the cable can slightly move to the right behind your head if that makes sense. To tackle this problem, you have a little clip to secure to the back of your t-shirt and keep that in balance. Never felt it and it doesn't bother me. They can be used without the clip but seem better with it (at least for me). It also acts as a fail safe in the highly unlikely case the headphones fall out of your ears.Awesome piece of kit!

I've now been using these earphones for the past three weeks in the gym and over the park on my mountain bike. Quality piece of kit that really look the part.Firstly, they sound no different to the original SoundSport earphones with wires. In other words, they're fantastic. In the gym they are an absolute godsend; no more getting wires caught around barbells and pinched between dumbells. What's really amazing about these earphones though is that I have a genuine 30 metre range on them, which is incredible. My iPhone goes in the locker on the gym floor and then I'm free to roam around at will with no loss of sound quality or clarity. The controls on the right hand side are positive, firm and respond well to the touch.Out on the bike, they're almost as good but the sound does suffer a little bit in high winds. The one real issue I have with these earphones, and hence me knocking half a star off, is that the StayHear +tips seem to be a bit of a faff to get them in my ears and get them in a position so that they're comfortable. Maybe I have funny ears, I don't know, but I don't encounter the same apparent difficulties with the original SoundSport, iE 2 or my QC20s. Once in and sorted though, they do indeed keep the water out. I got caught in a thunderstorm while out on my bike last week and ended up as wet as an otter's pocket. My inner ears were dry though and the music kept going. There's also a fair bit of intrusion from ambient noise. Ok, might be a little harsh because they're not supposed to be noise cancelling. However, it just seems to me that they allow more noise in than my other standard Bose earphones. I don't just mean airplanes going over my head or traffic, I mean people yapping on the bus. I think it's QC20s for my commute to and from work from now on and save these for the gym and the bike.As a final point, the SoundSport charging case is a must. Well worth the extra bit of cash for the protection and the charging capability. In summary, they're excellent and if I could turn the clock back, I'd buy them again. Four stars is harsh; four and a half would be more realistic but five is too high a rating.

I have had these for about 7 months. To me, the best feature about these earphones is that they are the perfect compromise between an open and a closed design; closed, in-ear earphones provide an excellent seal in the ear canal which helps provide superior sound quality: think of in-ear monitors like Shure, ACS Custom, Westone, etc. However, they can also be inconvenient to use out and about, because they can isolate too well from outside noises (eg you might not hear oncoming traffic) and because the occlusion effect means every step you take sounds amplified in your head. A totally open design, on the other hand, allows too much background noise in. These Bose are, instead, the perfect balance! As for sound quality, well, in my mind Bose has always been more about marketing than sound quality. Name a single musician or sound technician that uses Bose! My Shure Se215, which are single-driver earphones like these ones, are so much better in terms of sound detail and soundstage, however I wouldn’t use them when out and about for the reasons explained earlier. The battery tends to last between 4 and 6 hours, which is OK for this kind of product. The cable is thin, flexible and comfortable – not stiff at all.The microphone is very poor; the earphones can be used to make phone calls only in a completely quiet environment like a totally silent room, otherwise the slightest background noise will mean the other party won’t be able to understand a word you are saying; I made some test recording a message to my own voicemail with the Bose, with a Plantronics headset and with no headset, while on a side road with minimum background noise, and the Bose was the only device which could pick up very little of what I was saying. In the end, I would buy them again, not because the sound quality or anything else is particularly amazing, but because I haven’t found other in-ear earphones with this mix of open and closed design. The Jabra Elite 45e have a similar design and a better microphone but the cable is incredibly stiff and inconvenient, to the point of making them almost unusable. YMMV, of course.

I have just bought these headphones and I can say that within 24 hours of taking them for a long walk and run, in the rain and snow, along busy roads, they are by far the best earbuds I've ever used.I can not say these are or will be perfect for everyone, simply because everybody's ears are different. However, if you are looking for something different I would recommend getting a pair.If nothing else, the sound quality is one feature that I am sure most if not all people, will agree is phenomenal for such a tiny bit of kit.As for build quality, I personally can't fault these because they're light and the buds fit my ears comfortably, which also causes them to cancel external noise more effectively than any other buds I have used.Battery life in reality is about 3 hours running at full volume which isn't bad when you think about it, since the device has the ability to drive the kind of sound quality it does over Bluetooth without a hitch. The control panel is a good size and the buttons I find are easy to press, meaning you dont have to fumble about on the run trying to change track, or answer a call, like I have done on other makes.Another really useful feature is the Bose app for setting up and personlising your buds. I've never used an app before so that was a cool surprise because it also tells you how many ‰ battery you have left, so no more guessing if you'll have enough to reach your destination.Compared to other devices I have owned, it is head and shoulders above them and I would happily buy another pair for the money. That being said, I understand the price is high and the earbud market has 100s of options all ranging from £5 up to £60 promising great sound, comfort and long battery life. The reality is you can't have it all and with everything there are sacrifices. In this case I sacrificed a low to medium price and battery life (compared to other models I've used) for quality and comfort. So thats my personal opinion on these. If you're unsure just test drive a cheaper pair and doublecheck the low end market as I can't speak for every model.

I purchased these headphones as a replacement for my faulty Jaybird X3 wireless headphones as I'd lost faith in the other brand.Bose being synonymous with sound quality I thought I'd give them a whirl.I previously thought the Jaybirds sounded good but the soundsport blow them out of the water! The sound is rich and full with a fantastic level of detail and bass.Fitting the headphones was a little strange at first but once you've got the knack and realise they're not fully in-ear style, it's pretty simple and effective.Battery life is good but not amazing. The one time I've ran them to 0 was by accident as it went from 20%-0% very quickly but that was after a solid 5 hours usage without acharge. The included case is nice but offers no protection and I'll be investing in the upgraded harder case with built in battery for charging on the go (offers 3 full charges apparently!) and is a much more durable case.My only criticism is the app. This isn't essential to use the headphones but I have it anyway and I was hoping for a little more that could be done through the app. The one winning feature of the Jaybirds was the amazing EQ and tuning in the app. Bose does not offer this unfortunately and it would allow me to tune the sound a little more to my tastes. Bit of a shame as it's not a huge ask.Bluetooth connection is very good and simple to do (I have multiple devices paired and it cycles through the paired options in the order the were added, until it connects to the device you want)Latency (audio lag) is none exoetant on my galaxy S9 which is perfect for watching videosSound quality is superbBuild quality thus far feels very sturdy. They're bigger than I would like and do stick out from the side of your head but that doesn't bother me all that muchFit is great when you master itBattery life is good and acceptable but doesn't blow me away.Would I buy them again? You bet I would!!!!!
