5.2.2015

I used this to plane the bottom of 3 doors after having new carpets. It breezed through the job. It was also Boschtastic for reducing the width of kitchen plinth by 10 (ten)mm. We have a "high gloss" finish on the kitchen and I was worried that the edges would scuff or delaminate at the edge of the plinth but they planed away and the finish was really good. This is my new "favourite" bit of kit.

Its a quality Bosch power tool what more can I say. It has some nice features like different chamfer grooves - not all makes have this. The safety on/off switch is left and right handed which is unique. It is a powerful tool and planed down 40mm Oak doors with no effort, obviously hardwood needs small cuts but I completed my work in no time. I recommend this tool.
