Having purchased this as the my first SDS, I have been impressed. However I did not realise that SDS drills can only accept SDS Drill parts as it has been that long since I bought a new Drill. "The SDS drill is a drill with an enhanced hammer action that when compared to a conventional hammer drill is able to deliver hundreds of times the energy per hammer blow. To go with this it also has a different chuck design and special SDS drill bits to eliminate the possibility of bit slip, and also to withstand the force of its hammer action." Having had my previous Bosch SDS Hammer drill stolen a few weeks earlier I had no hesitation in buying another of the similar size and price. I suspect the GBH2-26DRE is an old model by now but that did not deter me from the sale since it is Bosch Quality and ability that I was looking for - and once again, I was not disappointed: the drill does exactly what its meant to do with ease ................SDS drills into stone and concrete just like drilling into butter - 10/10. Always buy/use good quality bits of course and that makes the jobs faster etc

First issue in ten years was the cord had a brake in it around the handle so I took three screws out and easily shortened it by 6 inches, good as new. Absolute work horse... abused expecting it to break and it keeps going.

This is by far the best drill ever. It goes through concrete like it was butter. Absolutely amazing. Quiet, strong, smooth. If it was possible to give it 10 stars, I ,ost definetively would.

Fantastic product! Bought it to replace my old one (exact same model) which which used everyday for many years. Excellent drill with lots of power. The chisel function is amazing too.

Bought this after 15 years with a £30 drill from Woolworths. Buy it, you won't regret it. With SDS bits it cuts into solid wall like its fudge. Beautiful machine, worth the money.

Good solid tool with mid-range capability. Rugged but not too heavy for typical building masonry drilling. Quality product from the original SDS drill maker.

Excellent bit of kit! Goes though super tough concrete like butter! Don't know how I've done without it all these years! For the price you can't beat it!!!

Drilling is boring! and this is a good SDS drill to bore with.. usual good Bosch quality, team it up with the standard chuck and your made.. excellent!

Good drill. Replacement for a previous cheaper bosch drill. Haven't seen much difference to be honest but it's still a reliable drill All the same

Great quality drill for the price. Case is sturdy and the lead is long enough to get most jobs done without the need for an extension lead.

ive had my 240v model for approximately 7years i guess, and it has never let me down nor been apart ! does whatever i expect from it !

Great product at a good price but Amazon's add did not make it clear that it only came with an SDS chuck
