I personally drilled over 40,000 6mm holes in reinforced concrete on one job with a single one of these drills. They are beasts for their tiny size. We started out using Bosch 36v units but they were far too heavy to use all day. If you could see what that drill looks like now, it looks like its ready for the scrap but it still works. The knob on the side is clogged with concrete so the locking button doesn't work but the knob still spins and the drill still works. The hammer feature is damn good considering the size. I've chiselled hard concrete from the inside of dumper skips all day and it never missed a beat.

Use it daily for fixing windows and doors. This thing will sink 5mm holes through stone and bricks all day without skipping a beat. It'll handle much bigger capacity but for my work it's perfect. It'll drill holes smoothly and quickly for a cordless tool (on a par with corded equivalents) and lasts absolutely ages on a 4ah battery.The icing on the cake is the hammer only mode. Not many cordless sds drills feature this but this does and does it bloody well. I've drilled out about 100 bricks on a single battery before. Since buying I've not touched my lumpy and bolster!If you need the flexbility of cordless but the power of corded buy this beast! A year in its going like new still.

I've had this drill now since January 2015.I am an industrial fitter.This thing will eat through rebar and concrete right up to a 20mm bit, no problems! Mine is used daily and is showing no signs of giving up anytime soon.If you want durability in an rugged environment, I would recommend this drill. Get yourself a couple of 5ah batteries as spare and you will be drilling all day on site.

This drill is a bit lighter than other SDS drills in the same power range. It absolutely shreds in the chiseling function, took concrete render off an 8m wall over 30 minutes before the 4ah battery gave out. I won't be able to easily go back to using corded units after the convenience that this offers. You'll be very happy with this drill if you purchase it.

As a retired joiner I have managed for years with an old hammer drill and struggled to drill holes in brick or concrete.Thankfully my old drill burned out and I bought this Dewalt SDS drill.Why did I not do this before? it is a heavy drill but it cuts through brick and concrete so easily that I only have to use it for a shorter time.This drill is superb.

So this is an awesome tool, If you want to be sure you are going to drill a hole, this is your choice. Also the tool which gives the least amount of hand arm vibration currently.The whole motor and gearbox, chuck assembled is mounted on suspension separate to the body.

Good quality product.used 600mm bit to drill through inner & outer wall, no problem.Did not use for a week, battery held charge for 3weeks.This replaced a stolen DC223 24v, All in all a great unit.
