I have decided to stop taking our dogs to the groomer every month and go back to washing our dogs myself. But washing them on the driveway sucks. Neither of my dogs likes baths so they don’t stay still, I get wet, the water from the hose continues to run while I’m shampooing them which is waste, and my back hurts from bending down and wrangling then the whole time for two dogs.So I decided to buy a stand up tub. The raised tub and harness were the selling points for me. I bought a large and that was a good size for us. My dogs are 45 and 50 lb medium dogs (Aussie Shepherd and small Malinois). I believe the sizes listed by the manufacturer are accurate. The tub could easily be used by larger dogs I just like the extra room.Setting it up was fairly easy. The hardest time I had was snapping the top rim of the tub to the bottom portion. It fits in a groove and you insert the ridged tabs into slots. Some of them were easy to get in, others were quite difficult. I finally used the end of rubber mallet handle to give me the leverage to get them in that worked well though. Everything else was very quick and easy to set up.I love the harness for keeping the dogs in place. The rubber mat is great. I wan’t sure if the shampoo cup was going to fit my oval bottle of shampoo and next to the bottle of conditioner (I thought maybe it was just designed for two round bottles) but they both fit just fine. I didn’t wind up using the sprayer since I bought a separate sprayer but I did clip it onto the side of the tub and it seems like that would be really convenient. With the legs tapering outward it makes it really stable. I was comfortable stepping back at the end to allow them to shake the water out of their fur a couple times before taking them down. It’s large so you do need a good place to store it when it’s not in use. The legs are easy to put in and remove (no screws involved in that part) so that makes it easier and would make it more portable.

Started off a little rough with this product, it arrived but without the hardware bag. I called and customer service was amazing!! They immediately sent out the hardware bag and it arrived within two days. The guy was extremely nice and apologized for the inconvenience. I was very happy with the customer service! Once the hardware arrived I was able to assemble it with much ease! I have washed 5 of my dogs so far in it - 3 boxers (weight range from 50-80lbs), blue heeler (45lbs), and German Shepherd/Blue Tick Hound (60lbs). It is very sturdy and I was so glad to finally have both hands free to be able to wash the dogs comfortably. I usually have to hold a leash and keep them from trying to get away while trying to wash them at the same time. All of my dogs except one of the boxers stood there and I was able to walk around freely to wash them.My one boxer does have some issues and did freak out and was able to jump out of the tub (partly my fault) but luckily I was able to unclip the collar quickly so he didn’t choke. This is the reason why I gave 4 stars. I think it would be a good idea if the company was able to either shorten the straps some more or allow for them to be shortened more to prevent this from happening. I will do some DIY sewing to shorten them up a bit for future use with my one boxer. Don’t let this deter you from getting this product though, like I said this was partly my fault for not keeping a good eye on him knowing he would probably freak out.I love the hose attachment it is better than any garden hose attachment I have ever used to wash my dogs.I was very nervous about buying this product not knowing if it would be big enough or sturdy enough for all my dogs. I sat on it for two weeks before I finally decided to spend the money to purchase it and I am very pleased so far. I bought the large and it is the perfect size for my full grown dogs. I would definitely recommend the booster bath!!!

Bathing him in the bathtub was bent over back breaking so he didn't get a bath as often as I would have liked - I just dreaded it! I was looking for a solution, found this and gave it a try. Tis raised dog wash was just what I needed! Washing him is a breeze, definitely faster and I can do it standing up (I'm 5'8") yay! Now... I bought the large tub even though my dog is not a large breed and only weighs about 35 pounds, but the medium for his size seemed too tiny, tight and compact and I wanted to be able to have room all around him to spray and I'm glad I went with the large model instead. My setup is outside off of the back patio and I'd like to keep it there but I'm looking for some kind of a cover so the sun and rain won't ruin it.Yes, the back end is open and there is an open drain, so this is more of a shower than a "tub" but I never submerged my dog in water anyway when I bathed him, so it was perfect for my needs. I did have some trouble with the leg assembly - although they fit in any of the slots, there are very faint markings where 2 legs must go specifically in the slots marked for them and 2 must match up with the others, front and back. I had 2 of them assembled when I noticed there were markings and one was on the wrong end so I would have had 2 legs in the wrong places had I not noticed that, even though it looked & seemed right, I'm glad I noticed it in the instructions before finishing the others. I have a feeling that is what is causing some of the problem with people having the legs pop out on larger dogs especially. The unit is not as sturdy as it could be for sure and it would trouble me if my dog were larger but this is perfect for our needs. What a back saver!!

I was a bit skeptical since some reviewers reported the tub collapsing, but I also knew the return policy, so I thought it was worth a try. It seems that carefully following the directions in order is key, since the unit is pretty unforgiving--once you have snapped things together, there is no undoing it. Initially, I had trouble getting the legs properly snapped in without a good deal of pressure/persistence and I bet that is what was going on with some of the cautionary reviewers. Once everything seemed properly snapped (though I still didn't get a few of the side snaps, but that is more about leakage than stability at this point). I tried pressing down firmly, putting as much of my own weight as possible.I figured it was worth risking falling on my face to make sure my dogs (age 16 and 8) did not take a spill. . We bathed our sixteen year old geriatric Golden Retriever/Chow Chow mix in it with EASE! Getting him in and out of a tub or out of the house to use a dog wash station had become impossible. He also started to fear change/travel in his old age as his hearing and vision declined, so we really needed a workable solution that would allow us to bathe him somewhere he felt safe and did not have to be lifted. This was fantastic! We could set it up in the basement, and he felt comfortable. We can manage it for our much more lanky, lean, and long Golden Retriever, but the XL likely would have been better. Unfortunately, it was not available at the time. Our Golden's head hang over the end, but since we do not spray his head, it's no big deal. The drain hose has popped off a couple of times, so I would recommend using it somewhere where wet spaces are not a big deal.

I only gave it a 4/5 because there are a few things that should be improved.Assembly:The bath went together with the exception of two minor issues. The first was snapping the two piece tub together. Most of the latches snapped in with little effort, but the two at the rear took some coaxing. The tabs didn't align perfectly and I had to push on the tab while pushing/pulling on the tub walls to get it to go in. The other issue is with the 3 point harness. It's well built, but seems too big even when adjusted to the smallest size. It will probably work fine with taller dogs, but mine have about a 13' chest height. I'll have to find someone with sewing skills to reduce this a few more inches.Bathing:The drain hose seems a little short, but I am able to run it under the garage door and drain to the drive way. Another 5 feet would let me drain directly to my drain. The included shower head works well. The on/off switch and clip allow you to easily place it down when you need both hands for the dog.Overall:This definitely beats using the bathtub or trying to wash the dogs in the backyard with the garden hose. I look forward to doing the weekly dog baths with this product.Side Note:The optional steps are not much use. They are a little flimsy and my dogs absolutely refuse to walk up them so I'm still resorting to the human fork lift. One benefit of having the steps is that it adds a few more inches of platform at the rear. Since my dogs tend to stand toward the rear because the harness length is too long, it adds a little insurance that they will not step off the back of the tub and hurt themselves.

I ordered this booster bath dog wash bathtub from Amazon.com and it came in a record time. My wife and I own three wire fox terriers and a golden retriever of wich we bathe and groom ourselves to help save money. Prior to this product becoming available I had to wash the dogs in our bath tub. Having to try to hold on to the dogs while they slipped and slide all over the tub was a couple hour back breaking job, not to mention getting wet myself. The bath booster came within 5 days and just in time for the dogs bath day. Asembly was easy and required only a screw driver. Once set up I placed the wash tub in my bathroom running the water line and spray wand to my bathroom sink and the drain hose to my bathtub/shower drain.I washed the three terriers first and was able to have complete control by hooking the three tie down adjustable straps to the head coller that comes with. Once hooked up the dogs where not able to move around much making it real easy to lather them up and rinse them off whith out the back hurting method of the past. I also kept them hooked up while I used the hair dryer to blow their fur dry. The golden retriever was I little tricky to harnis down as she is little more hyper when getting bathed but got the job done with less reluctence then usual. I didnot attempt to blow dry her in the tub as she has a tendance to lay down so usually just take her for a walk and let her air dry. This booster bath dog wash tub is worth every penny I spent and highly recommend it to any dog owner. I have ordered the accessory steps but they are backordered at this time.

I purchased the Large Size Booster Bath for dogs weighing up to 150lb, I also purchased the Booster Steps. I have a 127lb Shiloh Shepherd that I bathe weekly. Normally I am bending over using only one because having to control Khan's head & body (Khan is our dog's name). The Booster Bath comes with an adjustable collar & straps that keeps the dog positioned in place yet able to stand or sit relaxed & comfortably in the bath. The non-slip mat that comes with the bath helps the dog also feel safe. Khan stepped into the bath, shook several times, yet the Booster Bath barely moved and I had it set up on my lawn. The bath was very simple to 'snap' together. The bath,I found to be very sturdy yet very easy to move around with hands free & able to move a 360 degree around the bath, Khan received a bath that was calm & relaxing because I wasn't stressed trying to keep him from moving around, tugging him back to continue bathing him. I would recommend Booster Bath to anyone who has an issue bending over to bath their dog, or a dog that doesn't enjoy a bath. This is most definitely a 5 star product.*Side Note: The non-slip mat comes with corner secured tabs which I only secured two. I kept the 2 tabs next to the drain hole so I could lift the mat up to the hair out from under it. This bath also doubles as a great grooming table with a vacuum. This product is money well spent.

I got this because I'm getting to old to wash my Shibas in a regular bath tub. Being bent over for more than 15 or so minutes kills my back. This tub takes care of that. I bought the optional feet to elevate it even further and I'm glad I did. I stand 5'11" and with the optional feet I only bend at the waist a little. Way better than kneeling. There was a leash attachment and leash that comes with so your dog and jump out when they get fed up with being pawed. The back of the tub is open and I though that was going to be an issue but turns out, my dogs are more behaved in the shower than I am so I have no issues with water coming out of that opening. I didn't hook it up to a drain instaed,I take the include drain hose and put that in a 5 gallon bucket and that does the trick, and it's easier to git rid of all the loose hair without having to worry about house drains. The most import thing is my dogs seem to like it. They are relatively small (about 35 pounds each) and stand about knee height but there is plenty of room for them and they aren't afraid of being in it. All to the good as far as I'm concerned. The tub was relatively easy to put together but mind forcing anything. It is plastic and will break if force. Overall, I'm pretty happy with this thing.

I purchased this in May to save my back (I'm 71), and I LOVE it. I don't use the enclosed sprayer, but instead bought the Waterpik PPR-252 Pet Wand Pro Dog Shower Attachment on Amazon and my dogs love it. It is like a message for them and it is not noisy. Also, it comes with an 8ft cord, so it is plenty long to get around all sides of the dogs. I also hooked up a hot/cold water line to my water heater so they have warm water when bathing. AND my back has been saved. Since they are 55# plus, I used my car ramp (instead of stairs) and lean it on a plastic box so they can just walk right into the bath. Again, easy on my back. The hook on front of tub keeps them in place, but they are now getting very used to it and go in automatically. So nice...I'm sure a dog person invented this, obviously. I have two 55# Aussies and the tub holds them easily. Also, it has non-slip rubber tips on all four legs. Drain is so easy to drain water....honestly I can't think of a negative. At first my girls would not stand still for me (they were not used to it), so my husband stayed in front of them and talked to them while I did the scrubbing...We trade off with this. :0) We purchased the large one and it fits both girls perfectly.

I was very skeptical at first after I read through 100 or so reviews for this bath tub. A lot of people were complaining because it wasn't sturdy. I raise Boxers and American Bullies. I received the tub today and couldn't wait to try it out. The first dog I bathed was my 50LB female Boxer. I had to lift her up and put her in as she wouldn't jump in. All was great, no wobbling and just normal overspray that got on the floors. The 2nd dog was my 90LB German Boxer. He jumped in and the tub was VERY sturdy. 3rd was my 16 week old American Bully she was a handful and was hard to was because the sides were too high, but she will grow into it.I followed the instructions to a "T" and I almost messed up with the legs. They have a specific place to go, some people may be installing them wrong and that may be the problem with it not being sturdy for them. I also made my own kit to run hot water from the washer hookup for about $20 bucks. All you need is (3) wye's and (2) washer lines and a garden hose. I wouldn't recommend using it in a basement with sheetrock for walls as they will get wet. A basement with concrete walls or a garage is ideal. I couldn't be more pleased with this product.

This is overall a good dog washing station. The station comes with a hose shower attachment, four legs that snaps into the bottom of the tub, dog collar restraining tie down, non skid soft mat, and shampoo holder. The main tub ships in two pieces (top and bottom) and you can break it down again for storage purposes. What I like about it the most is the height, easier on my back to wash the dog for sure and washing above the ground allows me to fully clean the belly and the legs of the dog. Also clean up of the tub is a breeze by just hosing down the tub and its legs. Some of the issues are the drain hole size, If you have hairy dog that's "dirty", I can see the drain hole getting clogged with loose hair and debris.Legs just snaps in and knowing how plastic gets brittle over age, Im not sure how long this will hold over time (here in FL with the harsh sun, i'll be storing this unit inside my shed in the dark), only time will tell. The nozzle that comes with it is okay, but you can add your favorite nozzle for more water stream options.Other uses I ended up using this for (only with the bottom tub section) - washing outdoor items, potting plants, cutting large melon's.

I bought this system as a gift/donation to our local no-kill shelter. There are about 35-40 dogs at all times and adoptions occur on a weekly basis, so washing them happens regularily. I must say, it arrived in a timely manner and was a cinch to put together and attach to the water source. There is a place to secure them, so that they cannot jump out and also places for shampoo. I also purchased the optional plastic step system but will say, DO NOT WASTE your time or money, as you really do not need them at all. Its very easy to lift the dogs and put them inside the basin and they will not be as afraid of the experience if they are put in with your arms. The security system works well. This bath worked for all sizes, up to about 75#, and easy for puppies as well. One of the best purchases I have made for the shelter. We set it up right in by their kennels to make it all easy and the dogs seem to love being pampered. It comes with a decent nozzle that provides a relaxing water flow. I would buy another of these in a heartbeat and so should you if bathing dogs is a priority for you.

I would love to give this 5 stars but there are a few things I dislike.1) It needs to be higher. I’m 5’5” and have a hard time standing straight up to bathe a dog. I wanted a tub I didn’t have to bend over and this isn’t it.2) The straps are too long. I have very well behaved dogs but they tend to back up while I’m bathing them and the front strap is far too long. They back up to the end of the tub and end up stepping on the drain so the tub doesn’t drain. I just cut the strap and made it shorter so it works much better.3) It doesn’t drain well on flat surfaces. It would drain better if the front was a bit higher so gravity would pull the water to the back of the tub and not pool at the center.I ended up putting the tub on a small piece of board to raise the front a bit.For the price, I don’t hate it. Not great on my back but better than bending over the bathtub inside or taking them to get groomed for $40 each. A few improvements need to be made but it’s a great buy.

Finally ordered after looking at it off & on over a year! So sorry I didn't order sooner as it makes bathing so easy on the back. Our Lab passed & I want to adjust our Heeler to staying upstairs with us in the evenings rather than being alone in the basement. Regular bathing will be required & I needed to make it easier for me. Plus we now have a Sheltie added to the crew who will require bathing as well! I got the large and it was so nice and made bathtime so much easier than the kiddie pool. It is light enough for me to carry outside, bathe the dogs then easy clean up & dry & back inside to store till next time.Yes it wobbles a bit but neither dog minded or seemed afraid.I never felt like it was going to tip over or collapse. The restraint is a bit long even at shortest for the Heeler but he was good with it. I can shorten if need be. May have a "Dog Washday" for obedience class so will see how it does with the larger breeds. But for me I love it!

This tub works great for bathing our paralyzed pup who needs frequent baths! He's 45lbs and would've fit in the medium size but decided to get the large since he's still growing and I figured more room couldn't hurt. It's got a no slip mat which works really well, love the drain hose so it can stick out from the walk out shower and still drain into it. It seems pretty sturdy with our 45lb pup in It. I wouldn't use it for my 80lb dog, I wouldn't trust it with a larger dog but it's nice and sturdy with our little guy. The securement devices are a nice touch but doesn't stay tight, we are actually using it to put our paralyzed pups back legs in to hold up his butt and that works great!!Gave it 4 stars just because i wouldnt trust the description of holding that much weight and I think it could've been built a little better.. the no slip mat is about 1/4" too small and some other things that could be better quality but it works great for our needs !
