This one of several reviews I will be doing of various gins.I have something of a gin habit and rather geekily score gins for both g&t and martini on a spreadsheet (I mix 1:5 with a twist of lemon, well I don't mix it myself thats what husbands are for ) . I score out of ten and I give my go to gin (Bombay London) a 5 out of 10 to act as a baseline to judge against. We score more than once so I get an idea of how they taste over different times and occasions. Please remember these scores are personal and what I like you might not.So on to BoeG&T 5/10Martini 4/10The design on the bottle is very pretty and would make a nice gift.I am a big fan of Scottish gin and was keen to try this one.

since so many new gins have hit the market place, deciding whether or not to pay the ridiculously high prices demanded depends solely on whether the taste is different enough or enjoyable enough to merit the cost.. In the case of Boe it answers all the questions. It's great neat or with a little water and also with tonic. Another new gin is Cocoa gin - hard to find but really lovely.

As the name says it superior gin and it tastes superior too, this beast is 47% so I drink sparingly (okay I don't I get sloshed off it) and I keep buying it as gifts for my dad, best friend and bar tender both of whom love it. Well worth the money as it tastes divine and blows your socks off!

This is a very good Gin indeed. Quite a complex, London style, without excessive Juniper, which seems to be in vogue right now. Of those I have tried this year, it goes straight to the top, and misses my personal top spot only because I think The Botanist is better. Highly recommended.

Distiller in Doune, Scotland. Served in some of the best bars and restaurants. My method: tall tumbler, pour gin over lots of ice, slice of lemon, slice of lime, rub another slice of lime around the rim of the glass, Fever Tree tonic and stir! Yum...

Gave it as a mothers day present to my Mum. I tried some tonight, and It is quite strong, but to my palate the power of the alcohol took over a little from the flavour, but obviously this is a subjective topic.

This gin goes perfectly with bitter lemon, my mixer of choice, but also good straight. Highly recommend. Have tried a few Scottish gins and this is right up there with Edinburgh gin and the botanist.

Lovely gin, wife loves all these different flavours so this was a must for her to try. Have recommended it to other family members and will buy again !

Very nice, smooth tasting gin which I would buy again and recommend to others. Pairs nicely with a slice of fresh orange and quality tonic.

First tried this at the Three Chimney's restaurant on Skye and was impressed. Best with Fevertree Tonic and slices of Lemon and Lime. Mmmm!
