I've always liked the idea of the 4-colour pens, but they've always felt like they never quite deliver on expectation and I rarely continued using them. So it was with guarded enthusiasm that I bought this version.Wow!To substitute green with a retractable pencil is inspired and works so well - it even has a little rubber which, due to its size, can be used quite intricately. I like make many notes in pencil and, when I think they're important enough, a quick press of the button sees it ringed in red, bordered in blue and boldened in black. The old green ink was next to useless anyway - it never felt like it flowed properly. It's not missed.One thing I will say however,

I'm in my mid forties, and remember being about 8 years old thinking a 4 colours in one pen was the most desirable piece of stationery equipment ever invented. Well, they've improved it!No one used the green pen anyway, so BIC have improved this classic pen by giving you a click pencil in its place. So, this is a Black, Blue and Red pen, plus a click pencil, all in one. It even has an eraser at the top. Plus it comes with a small hard plastic box containing spare pencil leads.To replace the pencil leads, press the click button at the top, and slide the new pencil lead into the nib at the bottom.

I bought this product thinking it had-Blue-Red-Green-Black-HB Pencilcolours.. it had all of them except that instead of the green it had the HB Pencil! So basically it only had-Blue-Red-Black-HB pencilBut all of the pens and pencil were great.if you are looking for a pen that has all of these colours including green, then this is not the place for you :)

This is a really useful pen to have to hand. Instead of carrying multiple pens I have the benefit of one which has all the colours I need, combined with the added benefit of a pencil. Saves a huge amount of hassle and means that I never end up with a pen which does not work as I can simply switch to the pencil or a different colour.Highly recommend this!

I’m a fan of the original Bic 4 colour multi-pen and so when I saw this decided to give it a try. The retractable pencil replaces the what would normally be the green ink but I think you get a lot more bang for your buck with this pen as the lead is a good size so you can write or sketch with it. The grip is good and they give you lots of spare leads.

Lovely pen and the mechanical pencil is a fantastic addition. Lovely to write with and very comfortable. I am a scientist so predominantly write in pen but sketch/calculate in pencil so this has been great. I recently brought another one for my nephew in secondary school and he loves it too. Would highly recommend and would buy again.

amazing pen. Its made all the other pens and pencils in my pencil case rather useless as well as be something that people stop me to talk about in class- you don't see the mechanical penicl in these sort of pens at all- and its just so convenient to flick between the different settings.great product and will definitely buy to again

When i started writing with this pen it was a extremely smooth experience with the 3 pen colours. Up until now i wasn't too keen on writing with pencil but this pencil proved a joy to use both with drawing and writing. Overall it is a excellent pen and i think you should buy one.

I have used the 4 colour pens for ages, and now these have a pencil.they work great and look quite professional in the office.The downsides:- Can feel a little fragile in the middle but none have broke yet- It does not come with replacement leads for the pencil

These pens with the pencil lead are great, especially if you volunteer in a school to help children with their maths and English. The lead is easy to change and it’s so much easier when you’re using a pen and then have to not look in your pencil case for a pencil.

I love this really useful and a great option to have a pencil. It is a bit hard to find out how to load more leads but once you have the hang of it it is easy. I bought lots of these because I never want to be with out one at a meeting.

I live this pen so much. it is really useful for taking notes in different colours whilst also having a pencil to Wright scrap notes that u can rub out. lasted me all year and will youse again.

The best thing about this pen is the pencil they have added to it. Pure genius. No more hunting for colour pens or a pencil on your desk, they’re all there in your hand.

Standard bic design but green is replaced with a propelling pencil, it's an ideal piece of kit would recommend for all activities, work-school-home.

Fantastic idea of having a pencil & pen edition. It's creates immense value to the original product. Good grip too. Great quality... very happy!
