An awesome headphone going at a relatively cheap price price because it needs an equivalent 250 Ohm driver to get the best from it.It does however work with an iPod, its just a bit quiet so I bought a fiio mont blank pocket amp to go with them and now my head is in a new/expanded world of sound wherever I go.Well worth it (thats the head phones and the fiio booster).I'm also a home DJ and electronic musician and I have no doubt that when the DT 770 PRO is plugged into my studio setup its just going to get even better!There is of course one fatal flaw with buying fantastic headphones:You will spend all your time listening to music instead of creating it!I know this because thats exactly what happened to me when I bought some Beyerdynamic DJX1s when I was made redundant in 2009.

Beyerdynamic are known for making some of the best headphones and when you buy a pair of these its easy to understand why. These headphones sound amazing. I had done a lot of time researching which headphones would be the best to buy and everytime i had settled on a pair, id discover a new pair and then change my mind. However when it comes to the DT770 I was pretty much convinced from the start, as all the reveiws i watched online agreed that these are amongst the best headphones for gaming. The bass on these is tremendous, and its so great to have a pair of headphones that feel like you have a subwoofer strapped to the side of your head. The fact that these are enclosed headphones aswell mean that the noise cancellation is excellent.

Bought these headphones after reading reviews about how good and comfortable they were, they have some good points and some bad ones.They are very comfortable to wear for long periods but I found them a bit on the heavy side, great for indoor use but did not like them much while out to bulky, (personal choice)Then the sound, it's a good quality sound but you do need a decent headphone amp to drive these headphones otherwise the sound is on the quiet side, I did also find the sound a bit thin and needed a bit of a bass boost to get a decent sound but that might be my personal choice also.The coiled lead that came on these phones hangs very heavy and can be a bit of a pain when using,

I know there are as good sounding sets as these out there as these. I've heard them. But I've never come across any that are built this well too. These are professional studio headphones in every sense. They sound as good as their competitors. They last twice (or thrice) as long, and their specs are matchable against others in their line. (closed, open, half closed and various impedance specs)I have a pair of the DT1990; the open back Tesla tech version. I needed a pair of closed that would compare predictably. I could have gotten the DT1770, but I thought that would be unnecessary overkill.These are the perfect choice.

Beyerdynamic are a studio standard and many studios use this brand to master with. Good sound stage and a little bass extention is involved. They are closed back and a decent length of cable is attached, but you can easily sort a shorter length and mod them if needed and every part is replaceable and reasonably priced from a few sellers. I had to replace the headband and pads on my model and and a little pushing and squeezing to get it how i wanted, but hey mine are second hand. They sound wonderful and pleasant and airy..audio heaven..oh yes

Using these phones for live recording gives a very good indication as to what the sound is going to be like when finally monitoring on a good speaker system. From the very low frequencies to the very high they sound balanced and individual sounds are clean and clear so any distortion is easily noticed. They are very comfortable to wear for a long period with a reasonable level of isolation for external noise making them good for detecting unwanted sounds in the mix. They are also very good for listening to your favourite LP.

Very comfortable and great sounding headphones with good isolation, but if you can, get the 600 ohm version (new or old) they sound just perfect, the 250 ohm has scooped mids (still decent though)Also make sure you use genuine Beyerdynamic pads as they sound completely different if the cheap ones are used, you may as well not have these headphones if you fit them. The sound is so different. They really do become 6/10 cans rather than 10 if rubbish pads are fitted.

Great for listening at home with more bass but slight narrower sound-stage than the open-back DT 990s. Can be used for outside but the cable is 3 metres long. I did try these for listening outside while walking but was conscious of looking too much like a cyberman from Doctor who. However, they are great closed backs with sparkling trebles, true mids and a little emphasis on bass. Although personally I prefer the sound-stage that comes with open-back cans.

I also own the dt 990 pro 250 ohm model. the sound quality from the 770s is easily on a par with those. you only lose out on the soundstage as these are closed back rather than open back of the 990s. For studio monitors they are so musical and the rhythm and timing are spot on. I'm glad i bought these as a change from the 990s as they are more flexible because they can be driven without a headphone amp. Great cans!

Received my headphones the next day after purchasing around 4pm!!There’s are no words I can write that does justice for how good these headphones are. I use them for mixing, mastering and critical listening in the studio when producing for myself and other artists going back and forth from my sets of studio monitors. that headphones are simply amazing, i've bought 250ohms version as i wanted them for practicing on amp and they're just perfect. sound quality will blow your mind off! best buy this year without doubt. although i wouldn't recommend them for someone who's looking to use them for music listening. or at least not 250ohms version ;)

Amazing sound for the price when working with my Sound BlasterX AE5 with a tight at first but quickly fitting feel which is suited for hours of use.The only time I remember I have them on is when someone talks to me or when i bump the cable.If you have the money and the setup to power them then it is worth picking these up

I bought these to use with an acoustic air rifle, as I needed a high spec headphone to get the higher ranges for the bullseye. I immediately noticed that I could hear a subtle pitch difference right at the top end, which I didn’t get on my sennheisers. My aim has improved dramatically and I am very happy!

The beeeest purchase ive ever made. Super comfy headphones with extremely good sound. Clear sound and deep bass, not over the edge like the Beats-headphones. The package was sealed 100% and not a single bump on the package was found. Good job Juno!

Have tried a few makes of headphones and found that the Beyerdynamic pro DT 770 16 ohm are the best for my small music studio with guitar ,amp, mixer, CD player, kindle fire, pleased with all results excellent product.
