I like the concept of this Barbie. You get the one Barbie, but then there are little surprise windows (like an advent calendar) that you get to open up and see what kinds of things are behind there for Barbie! So there's an added element of fun and excitement!So, what you get is one Barbie and 2 outfits with accessories for 2 different careers. It all comes packaged in a nice box that has little windows to open with the surprises behind them. The Barbie is in a larger display area of the box and she is visible. We received the geologist and dog groomer outfits and accessories. They're cute! My girls were especially excited for the geologist.

The "surprise" toys are all such a hit now and my kids have yet to meet on they did not love. This Barbie is no exclusion.Barbie comes in a basic but 80's feeling outfit -- shirt and jumper. The box on the left side has examples of what Barbie might be (my 5 year old was of course hoping for the ballerina) and when you open the flap there are four tabs that can pull open to reveal the tools of the trade that Barbie will need. My daughter received a Barbie who is a pediatrician or dancer. This doll includes a doctor's jacket, baby, and doctors tools. The dancer side of things is pretty light -- just leggings and cut off shirt. Of course my 5 year old now has a dancer doctor.Honestly,

Our Barbie came dressed in a denim jumpsuit with a sweater shirt that said ‘smart girl’ and wearing a bandana in her hair. The surprises that came for the different professions included a green jumpsuit with a Miner's cap and a diamond in rock, I'm guessing that makes her a gem miner. It also came with an animal-themed apron with cats dogs and bones on it, with some type of spray bottle which I think is a groomer? It also came with a little basin with a puppy in it and a blow dryer. Not sure what the blow-dryer is for unless that's also for the grooming. Your imagination is the limit here. It's kind of a cool premise, having the mystery items in for different professions.

My kids and I were unsure what to expect from this Barbie surprise based on its toy title ("2 Surprise Career Looks Featuring 8 Surprises) and Amazon product description. We all thought the surprise would be 1 of the 4 career accessory set per the product photos. What they got instead were 2 sets of accessories for 2 different job/career types. Architect and ice skater (see pic 01). So, they got more toys than they expected. Which is always a good thing for them. Interestingly, they all liked the architect accessories more than the ice skater ones (pic 02). The little laptop is all of their fave of the bunch. It opens and closes like a real laptop. Gotta note to be careful with opening and closing it too roughly though.

What kid doesn't love surprises? My daughter was delighted to get to open a present, and then to have additional surprises within the present was especially fun. She took a good half hour opening everything up, removing all of the little baggies from each of the clothing items, trying on all of the clothing on the blonde Barbie doll, and generally having imaginative commentary.Our favorite part was the laptop and lab coat, which dovetailed well with some of the science teaching we've been doing in the last week as we homeschool.This would make a really fun gift for any Barbie loving little girl, and it's nice that there are a variety of careers represented, from functional ones to more fun but less realistic ones.

They liked the mystery aspect of this.This is a wonderful Barbie set. My daughters really love Barbie. They can just play with her for hours. They love this because of all the accessories it comes with. It is nice because they can play with it for a long time.They have a nice collection now and play with them altogether. It’s nice that this comes with extra stuff because it gives them a direction with which to play.I am always happy with the quality of the Barbie dolls. They really last nicely. The accessories are okay. If they are careful they will last but they can’t be too rough.I think these make great gifts, too. I like that they are playing with dolls instead of staring at screens.

I am sure this will be a hit. Other than the fact that this multiple-career Barbie set with surprises, has a lot of small parts, yet I think they are adorable along with the multiple clothing changes. I am using a baggie to keep them in tow. My granddaughter will grow into this. But I was thinking about how much I have always loved Barbie! She is the best doll ever, in my 64 years on this Earth.Barbie is a classic, a sure bet. There is no other I would buy ahead of time, as my granddaughter is 3 1/2. When we see her here at my home some months from now, I know even if she can't dress her I will do it for her.I see that her skin is tanned. She is very pretty. Lovely gift.

My 8 year old really loved the surprise aspect of this - because of course she did, she's all about the surprise stuff.The set itself is a good value. The accessories are diverse and Barbie quality. Overall, we're really happy with this!

Cute basic Barbie - not the highest quality line they make but very fun. She's a project and allows for customization. Great for a back seat road trip.
