I was never much into Barbie as a child, but did have one nice doll which I treasured. However, I thought the product might have come a lot further than this one appears to have. For your money you get a Pony equipped with saddle and reins, and a dressed doll (albeit totally inappropriately for riding but that's besides the point) which at least does have a fitting riding hat. Colours are bright - too bright for me, and I think any young child into ponies might struggle to find a mint green saddle in the real world! The pony is solid and rigid - it would have been nice to maybe even have had the front legs working but maybe I expect too much for the price.Chelsea is a nice looking doll but inappropriately dressed as I said and in these safety conscious days a parent will have to keep telling a child they need to dress in "sensible" jodphurs etc to ride for any length of time, and not a flimsy summer dress. Ok, I know - children don't always care about those things. Her arm joints don't allow for much movement though her knees do so at least she can stand on the ground as well as sit on the saddle. On the plus side, the pony does have the removable bridle and saddle as each have an easy to manage strap and while everything's rather rigid it means they're more durable and will cope with many hours of play. It's also nice that the hair is long and a child will enjoy trying to plait for the first time perhaps. For me, that's about the best bit of the toy, but regardless, it'll be a winner with any child who's into ponies.

The Barbie world is great for imaginative play - full of happiness, adventure and creativity. This pairing of Chelsea and her pony fits nicely into that backdrop, in a toy set that maybe doesn't include as much as it should, but is still a busy and inviting combination for children at play. While beautifully-made, there are one or two minor flaws which my daughter picked up on but which don't spoil the enjoyment she gets from it. Chelsea can be a little bit difficult to balance on the pony due to there being no actual seat to put her on. Also, her hands are clearly intended to go into the hoops on the reins to help her hold on and add to the fun and realism, but they are either angled slightly wrongly or the reins are off-centre, meaning they don't really stay in place for more than a second or two. It's a shame because the detailing is otherwise lovely: the articulation in her elbows and knees makes her able to do more of things that my child would like to with her Barbies, her outfit is adorable, and although the horse itself has fixed-position limbs, it's also a gorgeous companion for Chelsea. The doll's hair is rather flyaway and difficult to style, but her riding hat and the horse's saddle and bridle fit well, and everything has that bright, magical Barbie charm that will make children feel excited about playing with this toy.

This Chelsea set is so much fun and so much value for what you get in the set. You get a train which is a moving vehicle, a doll and a cat and puppy pet figures all of whom fit in the train- believe me there are many doll accessories that don't actually fit/usable by the dolls designed for them! The train factor is lovely and playful, and suitable for STEM orientated children, especially those who like/d Thomas the Tank/Chuggington etc it's regrettable that it's mostly pink but the use of teal, red and purple offset the Barbie pink.It has great visual impact as a gift, and has immediate play value, is also compatible with other toys- My Little ponys,Disney fairies and Wicket the Ewok have ridden the train already so it's got great interactive value with existing toys too.Chelsea (or some of my old Kelly/Shelly dolls from my childhood) were my eldest daughter's first 'Barbie' type dolls, as they are much more playful and childlike than the grown up ones, and whilst she has moved on to bigger dolls she still enjoys the little sister/mummy aspect and her little sister loves the little dolls too. The coupling of a train with a child sized and shaped doll is perfect but especially for the littlest Barbie fan as they have excellent long term value as well as immediate small world role play.

Chelsea is meant to be Barbie's little sister and she is, basically, a smaller version of Barbie. This doll is roughly 15cm tall (a stadard Barbie is about twice that) and has bendable knees so she can ride the pony. She comes with a helmet that fits on her head but wears a dress and what look like Crocs on her feet. Honesty, not the outfit any normal person would ride in due to the chafing it would cause. Also, one step on her Crocs from the pony and her foot would be crushed. This might seem ridiculous, but lotsof little girls who ride like to have these dolls or get them as presents and it's iritating when they aren't kitted out like you would to ride! The pony is cute with a plastic forelock but with doll hair for its mane and tail.IUt comes with a plastic saddle and bridle. We have the Barbie (also with bendy knees) with her horse and it's a very similar set. The hair on the Chelsea doll and on the pony isn't great quality but is in keeping with most Barbie hair these days (it's getting cheaper and more flimsy as the years go-why don't they just make it biodegradable???) This set comes reasonably packaged and is priced at £15.99. Almost 5 year old loves it as it matches her Barbie horse and Barbie set perfectly.

Cute little dollie. I did expect it to be a bit bigger, however, the doll itself is about half of my palm size. It's actually so tiny that her pony looks more like a big horse rather than pony. This baby Barbie is as perfect as its "grown up sisters": beautiful and kind face, lovely smile, shiny hair. You can put a pink helmet (included) on the head, the doll's knees are flexible, so it can seat sturdy in a saddle and "ride" the horse. It looks really cool on it. One thing that I didn't like is that the Barbie's top is actually not a proper top, its painted. You can't change it, which is a shame (it's not the case with the skirt, though). The other thing is that doll's boots keep falling from feet and one get lost straight away...I was offered this doll for test, but would I buy it? Many times "Yes". For 15£ you actually get 2 toys instead of 1. I need to be completely honest, both, me and my kid, loved the horse even more than the doll... It is big, very well made and also... blond. Right away, the pink removable stuff was removed and little baby Barbie was replaced by Woody cow boy from the Toy Story... You know what... It also looked really cool on it. 5 stars from me.

I’ll start by saying that my youngest daughters (ages 4 and 7) absolutely adore all things Barbie, Shelley, etc dolls. They collect them and the accessories that come with them including cars, horses, bikes, etc...Now this particular Barbie is from the Chelsea club range, so in itself is a great collectible for lovers of Barbie.I feel like the Chelsea dolls are more relatable for young girls as Chelsea is a younger doll than Barbie. She’s more of a child rather than a young adult. This Chelsea is super cute with her dress and basket, and also comes with her own horse! The doll and horse are of course well made and great fun for young children, my daughters have hours of fun playing with them, especially at this current time when they can’t go outside, they are having great imaginative playtime with this doll amongst their others and the horse.I feel like this set is great value for money as they are typical of the Barbie brand and dolls that are made to last, rather than the cheap plastic variety of copies. The presentation allows this set to be easily gifted to a loved one as they come in a nice box with clear front.

My daughter loves Chelsea doll with horse. She already have dolls similar size so they can share the horse, she said ;)The doll is well made, dressed with cute removable skirt and not removable bodysuit with cactus picture on. Dell's hands and legs are movable up, down, side ways, the legs folds in knees so the doll can freely seat on the saddle. It sometimes tricky to keep the dolly in the saddle without falling off so we need to work out the right balance with doll's legs.Chelsea have removable helmet, shoes. Horse ponny's saddle, bridle and rails are removable too.My daughter played with this toys for few days on and off and only couple of hair came off from the doll's head.Pony's tail and mane are very soft, playful. Same with Chelsea's hair- thick, soft and long to play with. The helmet feels like always need to be fastened otherwise easily can fall of the head.Overall it's nice toy, very good quality, guarantees hours of play along with other Chelsea's friends.

I couldn't quite work out if this was meant to be a younger version of Barbie or a new doll called Chelsea or a doll set called Chelsea. However being a Liverpool fan I think the name is a big mistake - I mean how often has this doll won the Champions League? Would Chelsea be in such a fantastic place with her own steam engine and (probably fair weather) friends if her Russian Stepdaddy wasn't bankrolling her? No, she would be in the social popularity relegation battle.Anyway - personal prejudices and joking aside - this is actually a rather nice little play set for a small child, bearing in mind that there are a few small parts here to keep away from very small ones. The stream train she sits in (and can get out of)moves and is accompanied by a small cat and dog to keep her company. I think the selling price is great value and would make a really nice gift. There are other items in the series you can buy which sadly doesn't include plastic crowds.

I got this for my three year old little sister. She loves Barbie and anything animal related so thought it would be perfect for her.I was right! She loves it. With toys like this there is always lots of imaginative play to be had.The pony has a removable bridle, reins and saddle in matching colours - plus a soft mane and tail to add even more fun and sweetness. The little Chelsea doll has moveable leg joints so she can ride her little pony with ease. Chelsea also has a little safety helmet, which I thought was a nice touch of detail.Everything looks and feels very high quality as expected from Barbie toys. The duo of toys are suitable from age 3 upwards. There are also others you can collect in this Barbie range.Overall, these toys are reasonably priced considering the high quality and Barbie brand. Most importantly of all, my sister LOVES them! Therefore, I certainly recommend this product.

This play set isn't short of Barbie pink (and purple) plastic! It's an appealing little set with train and carriages resembling a regular, though often static, playground feature and/or the little ride on trains that can often be found at tourist attractions. The Chelsea doll character is a nice size for small hands to hold, and has only one item of removable clothing - her skirt is elasticated fabric, but the other pieces are painted on. This is just right for younger players, who are just learning the fine motor skills needed to dress and undress smaller scale dolls. The moving train and carriages are a big hit - just the right size to be used not only with dolls from the Club Chelsea range, but for wooden dolls house characters and Sylvanian Families to join in on the fun. The cute cat and dog characters have appealing faces.

We are getting a decent collection now and our grand daughter loves them. At Christmas we gave her the fully horse set, stables, fences, everything and she adored them and they remain her favourite. When she saw this she immediately got out all her other Barbies and set them all up. It is so hard at the moment for her, like every other child she doesn't understand but we saw the pictures and video of her playing, Barbie is timeless. This one is the small doll with the horse whose head nods. There are all the usual bits and pieces for her picnic, a little basket etc and the helmet. Her mum takes the smaller pieces and they are all in a box for when she is a bit older and understands things don't all have to be eaten.Love it and look forward to collecting more Barbies as we go along.

In this set you get a 6" Chelsea, a cat and a dog as well as a train with 2 carriages. The animals each sit in their own carriage and are pulled behind the train that is driven by Chelsea. That is all there is to it, which is good as there are no accessories to get lost and each component is just right for little fingers. The animals can be secured in the carriage with a little spike, making it less likely they will fall out, and your child can take Chelsea and the animals out if they want to play with them separately. Connecting the carriages to the train can be a little awkward for little fingers, but is a doddle for older children. This is a lovely little set which will please any young Barbie or Chelsea fan,and at the current price of £13 it’s very good value.

This has to be one of the best gifts I've ever gotten at Amazon for my granddaughter. And kudos to the makers of Barbie products to come up with a doll represents active young girls, age 8 and under. The doll has such a sweet, young face, it even reminds me of my 7-year-old granddaughter. This one has a horse to ride on. She has a safety helmet and not only is her hair combable, so is the horses! Her body bends so she can sit on the saddle without fear of falling off. The only thing that could make this better is if the horse could gallop and that would raise the price way too high. This is such a good buy, don't hesitate. You'll love it when you see it.I was given this merchandise for a fair and unbiased review.

This little sleepover set is so cute. The bed has a pull out bed underneath for another doll to sleep in, it came with a plastic teddy, a bedside table, a fabric blanket, a bedside table with working draw, a carton of milk, a clock that sticks on to the bedside table, a carton of milk the doll can hold and a little book. My daughter loves this little set and plays with it for hours. Only downside if if you pull the little bed out it’s a little bit tricky or a child to put back on. Other than that this play set is really cute with loads of details and little accessories and I would say for barbie really good value for money as a standard doll is normally around this price.Very happy and I would recommend.

Girls and horses go together like sugar and spice. This cute set features Barbie's little sister Chelsea and an adorable pony. The doll is cute. Her legs are articulated She can stand or sit on the horse. Her arms move but don't bend at the elbows. Her outfit is cute and she has long luxurious hair. She comes with a pink plastic helmet. The strap on the helmet is hard to affix. The pony has a sweet expression and can stand by himself. He is not articulated but comes with a removable saddle and bridle. The horse enjoys the sa.e gorgeous hair as the doll in its main and tail. Unfortunately the forelock is plastic. Still it is a set that will delight most little children. Very cute.
