It is around 64 cm wide with the wings out. With the wings folded up, for neater storage, it measures around 28 cm wide.It has three wheels on the base (twin tyres on the front one) and runs freely on vinyl or thin carpet tiles, in my experience.The aeroplane is a good size for chubby hands; the inside is easy to access via the 2 x hinged openings, the top one includes 2 x opening overhead lockers.It even has a little rear door that opens to load or offload, e.g. the suitcase or food cart.The three seats inside move & rotate 360°. They recline with a fairly loud click (!) and have seatbelts.The various accessories are supplied in separate plastic-type bags. Some are quite small, e.g. that aforementioned dog’s bone & the foodstuff for the food cart.Help will likely be required to cut the plastic-type ties inside that keep various items in place and getting Barbie out of the cable tie & plastic-type bubble packaging in the cockpit is a job and a half!Barbie stands around 26 cm tall, with her hat on, although the hat is reluctant to stay on her head, in my experience.Less busty than I recall, Barbie is slim and jointed at the hips & shoulders but not at the knees & elbows. Her hands do not hold, e.g. the case.She sits with a straight back and is very long legged, particularly noticeable when it comes to manipulating her back into her seat (easier done reclined) and into the cockpit!The soft head turns right round (!) and the face is as currently pictured in the above stock images with striking blue eyes, pink lips and sparkling white teeth.She has layered, waist length blonde hair and wears neat high heeled cowboy-like boots, which are relatively easy to pull on & off. However, the heels mean that her feet are angled for similar footwear.The neat, one-piece, short-sleeved suit is on the tight side with a 'velcro-type' strip close on the back of the built-in shirt, which has a mock tie...and some dexterity is required to remove when it is time for a change of outfit (not supplied). Putting it back on is a challenge, too, i.e. getting the feet through the skinny fit trousers and the outfit on straight, generally. If the top doesn’t do up properly at the back, her blonde hair has a tendency to get stuck in the velcro strip. The child in me wants to open this and immediately start playing and building. The adult in me wants to be sensible and keep this as a Christmas present for my niece. It’s going to be so hard to keep this as it’s a HUGE box. When I got this, I genuinely was not expecting the size of the box it came in and was quite shocked when it turned up at my door.It’s very bright and colourful and immediately makes me think of being a child on Christmas morning. The Barbie sets have definitely become a lot more involved (and pricey) since I was a little girl. This probably would have been out of my parents price range when I was little and it’s almost getting into Lego set prices.Considering the price,this set only comes with one doll. Sort of false advertising considering the three that are pictured on the front. For each picture, featuring the two additional dolls, it does have in (quite small) text above, that “these dolls are not included” - in different languages as well. Just in case there’s any confusion. I would have liked to have seen at least two dolls included with this set, even though it does come with a decent amount of extras. I suppose if your child already has additional dolls, then they can be part of playtime.The plane does need assembled, so beware parents, you may need to assemble this before it can be played with on Christmas morning. There are numbered stickers to decorate the outside of the plane also. It also randomly comes with a dog, carrier and a bone - but no sensible lead. The rest of the stuff is relatively small, and since this is not meant for children younger than 3 (even slightly older than that, I would still be hesitant) you will have to keep an eagle eye on these little parts which include:Suitcase x 1Ice cream x 1Water bottle x 1Can of juice x 1Food trays x 2Blankets x 2Headset x 1Eye mask x 1Food cart x 1Snack pack x 1Magazine x 1I find it odd that the majority of these small items has only one supplied - when you take into consideration there is space for two passengers. If you have any other similar sets, I presume you can substitute additional bits and pieces to kit out your plane fully.It’s also very alarmingly pink - with just some purple lights and some light blue interior. In this gender neutral world, I would have liked to have seen a different colour used, as pink had never been my favourite colour, even when I was a little girl.This loses a star in my (adult) opinion, due to only one doll being supplied and the lack of duplicate items for your passengers. If at least one other doll had been supplied, I wouldn’t find the price so eye watering.

Amazing. Incredible. Bright. Beautiful. One of a kind.This is beyond anything I've seen from barbie.The detail is immense.You get to partake in some of the creating too. You have the stickers and plane parts to add to it before it is complete!All of the stickers are numbered and there are thorough instructions to guide you through where to put what.Very easy and fun to assemble and complete!Beautiful pink and white aeroplane. Very large and has a little weight in it. Definitely durable, strong and made well.The plane opens by pulling open the top of the plane then opening the side, the top keeps the side in place tight and well.The wings go right the way up to save space or come all the waydown.There are decorative stickers for the outside of the plane.Compartments for suitcases.Places for food and drink trolley. Comes with crisps and 3 separate drinks.Food trays have 'meals' on them.Dog has a bone.The dog is very cute. Comes with a handbag big enough to be carried in.Blankets provided for those naps that are needed on long haul flights! Along with a sleep mask and some headphones.Inside of plane is quite large. Chairs lie back and spin around. One of the chairs does not completely turn due to the other side of the plane not coming down so it hits the wall.This is not an issue to me the plane is large enough already.The chairs have TV, remote and magazine stickers on the back.The seat belt tightens and comes all the way out if needed.The cockpit is quite large. With the pilots seat pushed forward the barbies sat behind can out their legs down the side of the pilot's chair if you wanted the seat forward.The control column/joystick moves.The barbie is as usual, absolutely gorgeous!The outfit is an all in one. Her shoes are the cutest little black booties.There is a suitcase slide at the back of the plane.The suitcase opens. The handle can be pulled up or pushed in.There are a couple barbie stickers left over for yourself to enjoy!I am a huge barbie fan and have been for 30 years now. I love how they have evolved over time and the how finer details get better. absolutely insanely detailed. The illustrations are fabulous. The stickers are easy to get off if you misplace them. I just really couldn't recommend this anymore. It is justified with the price for what you get, the quality of the product you get and the indefensible details.

This is a brilliant Barbie set which comes in a surprisingly large box which is immediately very exciting for my daughter and myself! We're both big Barbie fans, I had a massive collection as a child which i've passed onto her and now hers is growing immensely with lots of exciting new additions!Upon opening and getting into the various ties holding the items in neatly there is a small amount of assembly required which is very simple and I actually did without the instructions as its very straight forward and the instructions make it super simple also.The set consists of a fantastic plane which is quite large, even larger than the big box once assembled (also,once assembled you can't really separate it again so you'll need a fair bit of storage space for it! It comes with one Pilot Barbie doll which is very smartly dressed in her union which is easily removable for outfit changes once she's finished her shift and wants to go out partying with her friends!The set also contains lots of accessories to add to the experience such as a food trolley, food items, blankets for sleeping on long flights, headphones for entertainment during the journey and lots more, including a little dog and a bone which I thought was a tad random as obviously you can't have animals on planes but of course if you're a childs playset you can and why not?! It's a very cute little dog and my daughter loves playing with this all.The Pilot Barbie has her own little cockpit up front and it can house other passengers which aren't included, any other Barbies or Kens fit in here, including the child versions such as Shelley etc.All in all a fantastic, fun set, great for children who have been on a plane to roleplay their journey or even if they haven't it's great fun for them to pretend. Recommended!

As always with Barbie products this is of lovely quality and a must for any avid Barbie fan/collector.Some parts are singular…surely at least 2 of each for passenger could be supplied?Plane has to be assembled so depending on child’s age, would need some assistance. Maybe take into account that this needs some assembling before playing with.Looking at the images, it could appear that two dolls are included but only one. This is pointed out in small text…a young child looking at the image could probably think there is more than one doll provided with not being able to read…you could overcome that by actually buying a second doll,or the child may already have other dolls to their collection.A perfect thing to allow a child to use their wonderful imagination exploring the plane and all that it offers. Just lift the top of the plane and pull down one side to find the compartment which will bit up to 3 dolls; one in the cabin others seated in rear (although only one provided). Reclining seats, suitcases and storage, dining cart, food pieces and lots of things to keep a young mind excited and exploring.Lots of stickers and bits and pieces to keep your child occupied for a long time and Barbie is dressed in an all-in-one outfit.• At this current price point, I believe it would be more economical to buy plane and doll separately?Not added photographs as plenty provided by other reviews and video provided with promotion.

We were kindly sent the barbie dream plane to review. As soon as it arrived my children were keen to start playing. Unboxing the plane there weren’t lots of ties holding it in place etc which was a plus for me personally as I don’t enjoy undoing lots of plastic ties before we can get the toy out. There isn’t much assembling to do, just the tail of the plane to clip on which was simple to do. There are also some stickers that need putting on but again pretty simple to do. The plane itself isn’t flimsy, it withstands my two year old joining in with her sisters and all of them can open the plane up without any help. Plenty of room inside for the children to be able to place the barbies in the chairs,which also slide back and forth and can be rotated to which makes it nice and easy. As to be expected with barbie toys the accessories are easily lost but it does come with a suitcase which holds most of them. And the food trolley holds the little drinks in the top and the trays on the rack which makes it easier to keep the little parts where they are meant to be. Overall my children have loved this toy and have had many hours of play out of it so far. Would definitely recommend to any girl who loves barbie!

I received this today. My daughters have played with it non stop playing with it. The product it’s self is a very good size, it’s very sturdy so if young children want to play I think it will survive! We particularly love how much detail has gone into it, from the cockpit, the front passenger seat slides backwards and forwards making it easy to fit barbie dolls in (the dolls come separately) all three of the seats lie down, it’s easy enough for a 2 and 4 year old to do without help. We love that it comes with two over head compartments for storage of little bits aswell as a hostess trolley! To set it up adult help is definitely needed to fit on some outside bits to complete the look of the plane.The Stickers that it comes with are a nice touch, put these on once you have finished putting it all together, the tv on the back of the chairs, the barbie logo, it really helps finishing the look. There are also accessories for your barbies, an eye mask, headphones, drink bottles and so on to make the plane journey more realistic. I think all in all this plane is definitely the perfect dream toy for any girl! My daughters love it. Thanks.

I was asked if I’d like to review the Barbie GJB33 Dreamhouse Adventures Dreamplane Doll and Playset, Multicolour, and I said yes.My eldest has been collecting Barbie dolls for a few years and she was over the moon when she found out that I‘d got this to review.I was surprised by the size of the Dreamplane as it’s a lot bigger than I expected. It’s made from good quality plastic and sturdy, so it should last a while.Inside the plane you’ll find Barbie dressed as the pilot, and there are over 15 pieces that are used within the plane are that passengers would use.The instructions are clear, all the stickers are numbered and are easy to put on the plane.My eldest loves playing with the plane,it’s great for helping her imagination and play skills.There is a downside to this toy, which is the price. At the time of writing my review it’s £99.99. Personally in my eyes it’s expensive for what it is. If you’re on a limited budget it’s something you’d have to think about, as you’d be wasting your money if they are only going to play with it for a couple of weeks or months. So due to the price I can only give this 4 stars.

I got this for grand-daughter who is 3 and a 1/2 and just getting into dolls. I was a bit wary of the Barbie brand, with their reputation of making dolls that are doing "female" things like shopping and cooking, so I loved the fact that Barbie is the pilot of this plane (and we might get my grand-daughter a Ken doll to be a trolley-dolly, lol!)Great attention to detail on this, and the plane is BIG: once out of the box, it's not going back! There are loads of stickers to add to the plane and the items so there is a lot of play potential for my grand-daughter in that alone. It's very well packaged and great quality, all items are very sturdy, perfect for clumsy kids!There is a lot of play value here.My only criticism is that it would have been better with two dolls - you really have to have (or buy) another doll to use this set fully.But this is sure to be a favourite toy of my grand-daughters for several years to come, the advantage being that it'seasy to add on other sets or dolls to increase and change the play over time.If you found my review useful, please click on the "Helpful" button below. When I received Barbie’s dream plane I was so surprised how big it was! Fantastic size and perfect to fit 3 full size dolls on the 3 seats provided. When opening the product it was so easy to assemble the parts as there were only 3 parts to fit. The only downside was the stickers you have to apply yourself to parts of the plane and accessories. My daughter was so happy playing with the dream plane and loved all of the small accessories included. She especially liked the puppy and bag. My daughter loved the fact that you could twist the chair around so that the pilot could speak to the passengers. We already have some Barbie dolls to go with the dream plane but it would have been good to get a pilot Barbie included.I believe it would make this toy even more value for money and more appealing to others too. The plane is easy to push along the floor but my daughter found it a little tricky when she wanted to lift it off the ground. However the wings lift up which made it slightly easier. This is such a great toy with brilliant features.

The Barbie Dreamhose Dreamplane came at the right time for my Niece. Arriving the day after she returned from her holidays; a head full of adventure. The Plane itself is close to two feet long; it isnt especially heavy though its around 2Kg when loaded with a full compliment of Barbies. The kit comes with the Plane, Pilot Barbie (who - if you are a fan of cabin pressure you will pleased to know has a VERY big hat) and a collection of stickers and accessories to use with the plane. The plane itself is full of details; from the overhead bins, a trolley, suitcase that has a telescoping handle and a small dog.My niece disappeared to exploring the world with her bright pink barbie jet; which I think makes it a winner for her.If Mattel had only included the plane I would be quite harsh given the price, the plane, doll and all the little touches make the plane a very complete toy - and if the recipient has barbie already there are seats in the back for passengers to explore the world.

Wow wow wow....I would of loved this when I was a little girl !This barbie doll and her dream plane is absolutely brilliant, so much detail .... it opens up and theres enough space for 3 dolls in total so maybe she can find Ken and take him for a fly ha ha, the seats recline , it also has 15 accessories with it to story tell, barbie is dressed in her flying suit looking very smart.I gave this to my 2 granddaughters to share as theres only 10 months between them , they thought Christmas had come early!There faces lit up with excitement and soon had it un boxed and were playing away with it, adding there other barbie and Ken dolls to the story they was making up as they went along,so cute to watch tho!This is deffinately a quality product that little girls will love as do my granddaughters, it's very durable and should last for years!Bit expensive tho at nearly £100 , I would say it should be no more than £70.Beautiful product for small hands.

We received the Barbie Dream Plane in mid- July and I can honestly say all three of my children have played with it daily (ages Girl 3, Boy 4 & Girl 8), offering hours of imaginative play and fun. The plane itself is quite large in size, it comfortably fits three Barbies in the seating areas (the pilot seat at the front and two passenger seats in the back). The plane came with added extras such as luggage and a drinks trolley with beverages. There were also stickers to decorate the plane accordingly. The Dream plane wings can fold upwards to make it more compact and easier to store away at night. The Plane also has motion wheels to manoeuvre the plane into pretend-play of lift-off and landing.All in all, I am very pleased with this interactive toy, all my children (despite varying ages and gender) thoroughly enjoy playing with the plane either independently or as a group. I would highly recommend the Barbie Dream Plane to friends and family.

This is a very impressive Barbie and Barbie playset. She comes with her own personal plane, complete with many of the extras you would expect to see when flying, from headphones, to recliner seats and luggage racks - and even airline food. It has been well thought out and there is so much there for imaginative play - and the plane has room for a pilot and two passengers as well. It is very good quality - well made, strong and sturdy - as you would expect for something from this range and at this price point, especially something that has to stand up to hard wear from small children. My grandkids absolutely love playing with it.There are a number of Barbies and Kens in the family now and they all come to visit with the grandkids - and an hilarious time ensues. Their stories and imaginative games are fascinating to observe. This is a super toy that should provide years of fun to more than one generation of Barbie fans.

This Barbie plane is quite an impressive size, easily fitting three dolls within the plane. It has wings that fold up which make storing it easier and has wheels to push it around the floor. It is quite heavy so little one’s are unlikely to be able to lift it through the air as part of their play. Children can access the inside of the plane by lifting the side and roof but it is quite tricky to access the cockpit as this remains covered. The plane seats move backwards and forwards and they also twist to allow dolls to be put in them easily. The plane comes with a Barbie and many other accessories. The downside is the price. It is a very expensive toy and still requires some assembly when you take it from the box.There are so many stickers to attach to it, which, given its price, should really already be done. However, there is plenty of play value in it, if you can afford the steep price.
