This is amazing! I love to bake cakes myself, I can see every detail has been thought of! It really is just wow!Comes with a large counter top with a built in oven.On top of the counter top is a see through display case for your pre made cakes.Next to this is a tablet to make your orders or look at the menu.Then we have the cake stamper. This turns around and sort of clamps in place so you can then use whichever design you wish without it keep rotating.Next to that is the cake stand which also turns. When you move the grey button over toward the stamper, ( this takes your cake stand over) you can see a big cake or a little cake image,

Considering the cost of this Barbie playset and what you get, this is excellent quality and offers so much additional value. Not only do you get a Barbie (A beautiful Barbie baker doll) but a very interactive cake decorating set offering extensive imaginative play.This playset including Barbie is rather unique and I have never seen this bundled before. It includes detailed kitchen/baking accessories and 3 playing areas. The concept is simple in that the dough (3 varieties included) is pressed into the mould, placed in the oven, the level is pushed, and the cakes rise. Take out the cakes and decorate with 3 designs, place them on display and pack away into (included) cake box.

First impressions were great on this product, the concept was exciting for my 6 year old and something new that we hadn't seen before.The set up was easy and instructions were clear. Initial responses to the play doh were that the it didn't smell very nice although the smell did fade as time went on.The functionality worked well although there is a knack to getting the cake rise correct, the child must make sure they hold the unit down while pulling the leaver as the unit is not quite heavy enough (understandably) to not fall over when using this 'cake rise' function.Instructions were clear on how to get any extra small amounts dough out of the oven part so that was great.The set as a whole had lots of accessories and a doll also and this was a big hit,

Barbies barbies and barbies with 2 girls in this house we have a lot of barbies I tend to encourage buying them as I used to love them when I was younger.This is a excellent set it contains a Barbie who is a cake baker and her amazing kitchen where she bakes all at a bargain price of £22.99.There is so many accessories my daughters are amazed at what’s included and I’m amazed at the cost of it.There is a kitchen island, oven, display cases, play dough (which is normally banned from this house), cake decorating tools, 3 stencils, cake toppers, dough shaper, pastry bag, till and so so much more.This is so realistic makes you feel like you are actually a baker when you play it (a quote from my

I gave my niece this Barbie doll with kitchen for her birthday and she sill plays with it regularly since she got it two months ago. I am glad to see that the the makers of the Barbie doll have diversified to making dolls which relate more to youngsters growing up today and to their lifestyle.The older styles of Barbie with their boyfriend Ken and her posh house, her caravan and her hose with a set of jumping equipment was a bit upperclass. Now Barbie has her own kitchen accessories and what is good is that the accessories are made in proportion to the size of the doll. I looked at a few sets like this in the past with a cooker, fridge etc. and the items were accompanied with a tiny doll.

This is a nice enough Barbie cooking set which comes with a doll and a mini kitchen plus dough in order to be able to bake.The set itself is pretty simple but our cooking mad 5 year old adores it. She loves pretending to bake cakes, pies and meals of all sorts but does it all herself meaning that Barbie often gets left on the side.We don't have a Barbie house to put the kitchen in so it is a little isolated in our house and the small pieces keep getting misplaced so we have had to make sure we have a designated box for both the kitchen and the bits and bobs.At £26 this does seem a little steep for what you get but it does have some decent playability and our daughter really loves it.

A great playset which is huge a decent value for money. It comes with loads of baking bits and things to do and role play/pretend with. I would warn that it’s not suitable for younger barbie fans due to all the small bits.My daughter loved this and gave it a big thumbs up. Her second favourite thing is playdoh so this combined a few favourite playthings. I had to confiscate the dough after she’s played with it for a bit as her barbie chef was heading up to the barbie house in her bedroom to create some cakes for a birthday party but we have carpet upstairs so it’s a not playdoh zone! That created a bit of negotiation but overall a great idea. Just watch out for dough in the carpets!!

It comes at an OK price - probably as much as it's worth and no more. Barbie is a rigid figure and could have been left out to reduce the price and let the Barbie owning kids use one of their existing collection.Nice collection of bits for looking at but not actually usable. Gadget use is fiddly and our 4 yr old is not dexterous enough to get the results shown in the promo video.But it had Wow factor when given and the little one loved unpacking with g-dad and setting it out and is not in tears that she can't get results (she doesn't have expectations) and it's all fun. Some interaction with the other Barbie items (e.g Caravan Barbie needs to buy cakes).

So, usually, these toys tend to be far from ideal in terms of how long they are played with and functionality but this is a really great toy set.So many items to help with the imagination of baking different cakes and they are well detailed pieces too. This is something to gift a child in the hope it helps form a connection between them and baking but to be fair kids love most baking at a young age.I usually dig at the cost of these things due to being plastic and cheap to make but this is worth the money if I had paid for it.all in all a very well thought of toy with lots of detail to the pieces and a semi interactive oven.

This set is really good value for money, considering that a single Barbie in a fancy frock can set you back the same amount, without all the extra accessories!This Barbie comes with everything she needs to pretend to be a cake baker and decorator, including some pots of (non-edible) Play Doh. There is hours of imaginative play with the tiny cake slice, icing piper and plates/stands and my daughter was totally absorbed in making some fantastic creations with the different coloured doughs.The whole set is attractively packaged and perfect for small Barbie fans. Definitely recommended.

I'm a big fan of Barbie products and the way they have evolved over the past few years. This is another of the aspirational range and includes all the bits and pieces that Barbie would need to do baking and cake decoration. There is a doll, a counter and a number of very small components, such as cake toppers.It comes well packaged in a large box, so it appears that you're getting quite a bit for your money. My seven-year-old daughter absolutely loved it, especially as it arrived just before the new series of Junior Bake Off!!

The negatives, I would say Barbie needs to be able to stand. It would make it more robust if the kitchen was fixed to a larger base, as getting the cakes out of the oven, causes it to fall over.Also, there is a design fault. When the cakes have been made the display should be made to face the other way. The way it is, Barbie cannot take the cake out to pass it to the customer. This was the first thing our 6 year old grand-daughter noticed!Apart from the above, a good buy.

Very cool barbie set that comes with dough (playdough type) so you can make and decorate cakes within barbies bakery kitchen, using stamps to decorate and imprint into the dough. Comes with one barbie and lots of accessories like the piping bag. I would say this set may be best for slightly older kids who play barbie, as it’s a little fiddly for age 3-4 but for around 6+ it will be much more manageable. It’s a great set with creativity and lots of fun

This Playset contains a Barbie with a dress and apron and three tubs of Barbie dough alongside the very detailed kitchen island. The island includes an oven to ‘bake’ the cakes, a tablet to take orders and a decorating area with display stands. There are many accessories including a piping bag, cake toppers and cutlery which help make for fun and creative play. This would make a great gift for any Barbie fan.

My daughter loves the way the cakes rise when baking in the oven (although the lever sometime causes the bakery to fall oven as it’s so light). Some of the dough that gets left behind in the molds but is easily removed. After she “bakes” the cake there is the fun of decorating them with the accessories provided. Then of course you get to display them in the bakery whilst Barbie sells them
