I love the ergonomic design of the Balance Soft bouncer and the fact it will last the child up to the age of 2 (29lbs). What is the difference between the Balance Soft and the Bliss? Technically nothing – just the design on the fabric. I love the fact this bouncer can recline for play, rest, sleep and then fold flat for storage. Changing positions looks easy but it’s something you need to play with before baby goes into it. Although it doesn’t look like it, the cover can come off very easily to be washed at 40 degrees which is a must if you have a refluxy baby or toddler who will cover it in food.The cover can then be turned around so you don’t have the restraint when the child can walk/sit unaided so I would say it’s worth the money in that case but if you are choosing it for the colour be warned it’s not grey/green on the other side – just black. It is quite a shallow seat though which doesn’t get any bigger when turning it into a chair. Compared to our cheap Rainforest bouncer, this one has more of a bounce to it when baby kicks his legs but it is a bit boring – you can however purchase a toy bar separately to attach to it. Our Rainforest bouncer has a vibrate function which he doesn’t like and it also doesn’t recline and only lasts up to the time they can sit unaided so doesn’t have that longevity so there are positives and negatives to both with quite a large price difference. We will definitely get the use out of it and folding flat is a huge positive so easy to transport to grannies house too.

We were really pleased with the quality of this sleek and stylish BabyBjorn bouncer - the frame is thick, sturdy and super stable and the fabric is also very strong whilst also being beautifully soft to the touch (and it is machine washable - hurrah!). It gives my nephew great support, being flexible in moulding to his body and movements really well. We were pleasantly surprised to find that it came fully assembled so my nephew could use it within seconds of it being taken out of the box. He just loves being in it! The three seating levels allow him to either nap or play in it and the clever little latch means that you can safely switch between levels of incline whilst the baby is sitting in the bouncer.It also folds flat which is handy for storage. His mum and dad have two of these seats now and keep one neatly folded up and stored under the grandparents’ sofa for use when they visit.All of the above is great, but you do pay a hefty price for it. His parents said they expected, for £100+ price tag, that it would come with a toy attachment. However these cost a further £20 - £30 and are pretty basic (although there is something nice about the lack of plastic and flashing lights). Other pram toys can be clipped on to the frame but then aren’t within easy reach for my nephew (at 3 months). The other down side is the large footprint - it’s been tripped over a few times (lucky it’s stable!).

This is such a simple product, but such a life saver. I honestly bought it because of all the great reviews, but I couldn't really see what's all the rave about it until I got it. Baby absolutely loves being in it - he would happily sit there for 30 minutes - even one hour. It's been nice and comfortable for him right from the first days as a newborn (which I can't say about other bouncers), and now at 3 months he keeps moving his arms and legs which creates the bouncing effect that he really enjoys. He is able to look around, so he can spend quite a long time in it, which is a lifesaver when you need to do some work around the house, cook, take a shower...Also amazing if you have a toddler/older child around - we can sit on the floor and play and have the little one right next to us cooing and smiling. It's very light and easy to move around the house as you need it.Little one also napped a few times in it, it reclines to a really useful napping position.Pretty sturdy, toddler uses it as a chair or jumps in it whenever she gets the chance :)I've tried other bouncers, swings, etc, but this one definitely beats them all in terms of comfort and baby happiness. I highly recommend it!

I could buy this only because it was on sale. It does not come with the toy bar, which is an extra 30£. However, I cannot complain, my baby loves it and since I've got it I've been more calm being able to put him on his bouncer instead of carrying him in my arms all the time. You have to rock the bouncer manually because at least when the baby is small they don't have enough strength to rock themselves. I can't wait for my baby to use his own legs to rock the bouncer.*update* my baby stopped using this before 6 months basically as he is very active (also, it is not recommended to restrict babies when they are trying to develop their motor skills and it can delay their development).So at 6 months I passed it on the next baby in the family. If I had known for how long this was going to be used maybe I would have opted for a much cheaper Ikea version. The quality is great though and better than any other bouncer. Easily washed in the washing machine.

This is a fantastic bouncer and I have used this for my first and second child who are 3 years apart. I have seen a lot of bouncers that can only be used up until the age of 9 months but when your child is used to being bounced and are struggling to find a bouncer that a baby has outgrown past 9 months old, then this is the bouncer to go for. My eldest would sometimes use his own legs, with his own momentum to bounce himself on it when he was 7-9 months old. The bouncer is strong and sturdy and can be used for quite a long time as there are two settings from newborn until they are too heavy for the first setting, there is an option to increase the height to the second setting which gives the bouncer a longer life to use.The bouncer material is also machine washable and easy take off from the frame. Great value for money.

By far worth every single penny spent on this bouncer. Before giving birth we had bought a no frills bouncer. Baby girl did not take to it at all. I didn't want one that sings or vibrates as I didn't want her to only fall asleep with motion. I love that it has different height settings for play chill and sleep. My girl has never enjoyed lying flat and in this bouncer has been able to look around at everything. Lightweight so can be carried from room to room even post c section. The fabric is soft and breathable. Very easy to remove and wash and colours are gorgeous. Baby girl has always seemed very comfortable in hers. Only slight downside is the Base takes up an awful lot of room so bear in mind!However saying that I've yet to find a baby bouncer that doesn't take up room!

Excellent, is the word that springs to mind when writing this review. It's a very well made bouncer, simple but perfect. Materials are nice and it's really sturdy, a good quality bouncer. My son is 10 weeks old and strong enough to rock it himself. He enjoys bouncing in it for fun, but also gently rocks himself back to sleep when he's stirring during a nap. It seems just the right shape to support him like a cuddle and it gently jiggles with a really nice movement. As others have said, the toy bar is a must. It's a fantastic toy, again great quality and he loves spinning it. The bouncer is a little on the pricey side so would have been better if the toy bar was included as it really is a must.That said, it's well worth the money and would buy it again. Love it!

Finally got one with my 4th child. One of those purchases I'd always wanted but had been put off by the price.Bottom line. It's worth it.Little man doesn't have to do much to bounce. He's very comfortable in the hammock like seat. It's easy to store (really flat) and easy to wash. Perfect really and I love the grown up colours.You can buy a lovely wooden toy bar and it's a shame it's not included as it does push up the price of an already expensive product. I purchased this add on and it he does love it more so with it but its not needed in my opinion from birth.I just wish I'd splashed out on one sooner.It would have definitely lasted and with it folding completely flat would have been easy to save between children.

This is a relatively expensive bouncer whose primary benefit is probably aesthetic. It looks lovely, and allows you to keep some semblance of smart design in the house.However, I’m sure cheaper, more garish bouncers would be equally (or more) popular from the baby’s perspective. Our baby didn’t like sitting in this at all until she was about 3 months old, and now she will comfortably sit in it but I feel she needs more entertainment than the gentle movement it offers.The attachments (sold separately) are very expensive.Whilst I’m pleased with the item in terms of look, quality and comfort, I feel a little bit guilty knowing that the baby could be better entertained by something brighter,louder and bouncier....

I spent ages looking for a bouncer for baby. I wanted her to be stimulated but she was also the kind of baby that was really uncomfortable in any other bouncers as she always tried to lift herself out. This one allows their feet to be free, so nothing is in the way of them pushing herself out of bouncer. Amazing product but expensive for what it is.I'd improve the reclining clips at back so it is a bit easier to change between levels, its not that bad it just takes getting used to. Also, the lack of hanging toy options is a negative. Have to buy baby bjorn ones. I bought the googly eyes toy to go with this and my baby would rather play with the black wire on the attachment than the colourfultoys in front of her!

I spent ages wondering whether this would be worth the £££ before purchasing it for my son. In hindsight that was a waste of time, I would gladly pay double! He is now 8 weeks and loves sitting on the bouncer. Yes there are no flashy colours and dangling toys (unlike almost all other bouncers in the market), but who needs those when the ergonomics just work so well? He has napped in the bouncer several times and will happily sit on it for ages looking at the world around him. The design is sleek and stylish, so fits well in our living room. The cover has been soiled a number of times but all it needs is a wash in the laundry machine and the stains are gone.So pleased with this purchase - highly recommend.

We are absolutely pleased with this bouncer. We have purchased it late at 4.5 months and will use until we can and then of course can be a great little chair later on.We have purchased Swings and bouncers but this is far superior and a must purchase from new born.It has superior materials and is an instant hit with our baby daughter as very comfortable and the movement of the bouncer so natural and not forced as we an electric swing and bouncer.We now have repacked our Chico bouncer and Swing which were about £100 anyway. This would have been a better investment from day one. But even with three months use now we are more than happy as it is safe and secure and ultimately nothing lasts for ababy.

I'm glad I persevered with this bouncer. My little girl did not like it at all initially. She was a low birth weight baby and so we waited until she weighed enough to use it but initially she would no sit in it for more that 5 minutes as she was too light to bounce it. Now that she's older and heavier she absolutely loves it (she's 11 weeks now and has been using it happily for the last 3 weeks). She plays in it in the highest setting and sleeps in it on the lowest setting quite comfortably.It's a shame it does not come with any toys and it is a little expensive but as it should convert into a toddler chair I'm hoping to get plenty of use out of it.

A great product, super light, can move it around and open it up one handed whilst holding my little one which makes it super easy to move from room to room as I need to.Love that it folds flat so doesn’t take up loads of room permanently and can put it away easily when it isn’t being used.My little girl is 6 weeks old and is really comfy in it, she is happy to stay in there for a little while and look around. I know she will stay in there longer as she gets older, but it at the moment it give me the chance to make something to eat, do some jobs around the house or just drink a hot cup of tea or coffee.

With its soft fabric, round forms and supportive design, this snuggly bouncer creates an extra cosy environment for your baby.I gave this to a friend who had just had a baby.She loved it.It kept the baby nice and snug and the gentle bounving was really helpful for the baby.Baby loves it. Say no more!!!!!.The bouncer is well made and sturdy and does not take up that much room.I feel it will last ages.The bouncer comes with easy-to-remove fabric which can be machine washed at 40 degrees, a big plus.All in all brilliant for any mum with a new baby.
