I have previously used cheap fabric long sleeved painting smocks coated with a waterproof plastic film as bibs. Although they work okay for a few weeks, once they've been washed a few times they lose their water repellency and are basically useless.This bib is a far better long-term investment as it's made with soft, supple hard wearing plastic which will last and last. It's available in lots of colours. Personally, I prefer darker shades because no matter what you do, the bibs will get covered in tomato-based sauce residue and it has a terrible tendency to stain just about everything it touches with an orange hue that just will not wash off. However, so far this bib has not succumbed!Another nice feature is the elasticated cuffs,

At £22 this seems to be a rather expensive bib/coverall buy it is worth the money! Ours came in a dusky pink but there is a good range of colours to choose from. The size states from 8 months, it totally covers our grandson of that age and has plenty of room for him to grow so it should last well into the time when he is into messy art and craft play. Easy popper closures at the back, elasticated sleeve cuffs and no nooks and crannies to harbour food bits. Just wipe it down after use and it dries very quickly, or you can put it in a normal machine wash.The best thing of all is that the material is so soft and supple, making it comfortable to wear, moves easily with your child.

The BABYBJÖRN Long Sleeve Bib in pink is a lovely item, ideal for use with messy pasta meals, or for messy, discovery artwork! The bib seems comfortable and very durable. It is wipe clean and washable on a coolish wash. Protecting underlying clothes it really is a baby essential. The sleeves have elasticated cuffs to prevent clothing sleeves from appearing and getting messy. Great for wearing during messy activities, or at mealtimes BABYBJÖRN is a trusted brand leader, with a strong reputation for quality. Highly recommended.Edit - After 5 months heavy use this Bib is still going strong - and looks as good as new. Outstanding!

This is a fantastic bib. It might be more expensive at around £20 than some similar high street/supermarket products. The difference here is that this has lasted. It’s taken a fair bit of abuse with foods, paints and all sorts down it and it’s washed out fine without suffering and being ready for the bin. It also has a cool name - BABYBJORN sounds like either a children’s ABBA tribute band or a children’s piece of furniture from IKEA! It’s a nice shade of pink too - not too bright or Barbie! There are some really nice touches like the long elastic area sleeves offering that extra protection. Overall impressed!

I can't count the number of extra laundry washes I've had to do with inadequate bibs during weaning, until I found full sleeved designs. This is a superior design - in that it offers the best amount of coverage, a comfortable neckline and elasticated sleeves which mean less dripping.It is washable too which helps. Only bit I wasnt a fan of was the baby pink colour. Now that weaning is over we are using it for protecting clothing with all the artwork and paint that we are subjected to and it's still working well even after many washes

This is the second one of those bibs that I have bought. 9 years ago I bought one for my first granddaughter. I still have it & she wore it for years even when at school although it was getting rather small she still wore it for having her lunch. It covers all their clothes so clothes are not having to be changed all the time. Now I have an 8 month old granddaughter, this bib is rather big for her just now but I loved the colour so bought to be prepared.

I sent for this for my Granddaughter Elsie to test for me, she’s nearly 7 months old and loves anything with a tomato based sauce (both eating and wearing it) and is also a very keen artist. This bib is ideal, it’s a good quality material, which seems to repel most things. I like the elastic area cuffs and the fact that it grows with her. Well worth the money it costs, although I have to point out we tested this for Amazon Vine and so it was free.

Fantastic product an absolute must have when learning to self feed! I was sceptical when I order as the price is a little high for a bib but was honestly worth every single penny it has saved sooo many outfits! One of the most used items I have purchased! Washes perfectly too and dries in no time I honestly can not fault this product.

A superb bib which is really high quality and far superior to cheaper versions. It washes out well and holds its shape whilst proving great coverage of growing babies. Can be used over and over again. This would make a great gift for a new mum especially for kids beginning to play with their food.

Perfect for weaning as it is waterproof and has long sleeves . A little large for our 9 month old but it tucks around into the high chair. Sponges down and washes well. will last for years

Good quality bib, washes well, excellent fit. We’ve been using this from 6m (currently 14m) & can’t fault them. Have bought all the colours! Great for feeding or play time.

Love this and really helps keep my messy toddler clean during mealtimes. I have put it in the washing machine at 30 degrees and had no issues.
