This bib is perfect for baby led weaning. My son gets food absolutely everywhere...and yet none of it ends up on his clothes. Some of my mummy friends double bib with a plastic pelican bib, but I don't bother and I'm still really happy with the result. The main body part of the bib is plastic backed to stop spillages getting through, and the arms are just the flannely material which means that he can still move his arms really easily (I tend to push the sleeves up to about his elbows though to save mess on the bib as his forearms are always covered in food). It has now been washed countless times and still looks just as good as new, the colour is still really vibrant (the picture on here actually doesn't really do the colour justice),

Largely does the job. The only problem I have with it, is that the fabric seems like it might be thin or thinning easily if you wipe it off - I wipe the food from off the collar area and sleeves after my little boy is done eating (I'm not a fan of struggling to get rock hard food out of fabric). I tend to try to flood the area to make it easier to get out, but every time I do it, it still seems thin. I've not noticed it on the other Playshoes bibs I have, either. It's not falling to bits, though, and it's over the plastic underlay, so little man is dry. Ultimately, still does the job, just think it could be a tidge better quality for the price.

The front section is waterproof (material front with an opaque plasticky layer behind) and the arms have a good elastic at the ends so you can push their sleeves up without having to roll.Only criticism - we're using these with our 7 month old and we have to use a safety pin to fasten the thing at the back as the velcro makes the neck way too wide.Also, our first one is getting stained on the front now, and I wonder whether - because maybe it has the plasticky layer - that we won't be able to wash it on a high enough temperature to get that out. Which means it might get so gross at some point in the future that we'll just have to throw it.

Bought this bib for my 6 month old daughter at the start of BLW. I also bought 2 others in different designs. She is now 7 months, eats everything but as expected BLW is certainly messy! I'm so pleased with the bibs I'm about to purchase some more. They are a little on the big size around the neck but I just use a dribble bib underneath and problem solved. Elastic at the wrists keeps the food from getting on the sleeves of her clothes. They wash well too.

Bought this bib for our 6month old daughter for weaning and it is perfect. We bought two different designs and now have ordered two more just to help with the washing situation. They have a little bit of a big neck for her at this age but this is easily resolved by using some bibs we already had from mothercare (dribble/feeding bib) underneath. Her clothes are remaining clean after all her capers during mealtimes and they wash very well too.

Since the product arrived, my daughter has been keen on wearing this. She used to wear a bib which was really plain design and she didn't like to wear it. I am super happy her to ask me "where is my bib?" when it is washed. Also, quality is good. I have already washed many times but the shape and the lining is still in great condition. I am fully satisfied.

When I read the reviews I was reluctant to buy it, however I needed a bib where my son is covered from neck till belly. So I bought it.In my sons 18 months I tried out many bibs but so far I really enjoy this one. When dirty, I just put it in the wash. Easy to put on and off. And when he spills water all over himself whilst drinking he isn't getting wet.

We bought this for our 6 month old at the start of baby led weaning. This was the best long sleeved bib we bought. Soft flannel arm. Nice design. Waterproof front panel. Since our daughter is still small we do use a Tommee Tippee absorbent bib underneath to get a good seal at the neck. We loved it so much we bought 3 more in different designs!!

Fantastic bib. Protects baby clothes, and this is the only bib which has elastic in sleeve cuffs so that food doesn't go up the sleeve. It is made of soft towelling, great quality. I put small bib around baby's neck to protect it from dark food stains, it works great for us. And baby looks super cute in it, I bought green one as well!

This was a repurchase, we got handed down 2 of these bibs and I was so impressed with the wear, they had already been through 2 children and still had so much life in them, I needed some more so was thrilled to find they are still on sale! Highly recommend. Was also amazed at how well the colour had held over so much wear/wash!

Great bib for little ones starting with baby led weaning as the bib covers front, and elastic sleeves mean food doesn't slide up and get on cuffs. Neck is a bit big for a 6,7 month old, so you do get vest stains, especially with fruit . All round very good I have 3 as they go in the washing machine and come out perfectly!

We've got two other Playshoes bibs, and the only problem I have with this one is that it seems to stain really easily. And because it's a light colour, the stains show up. Ultimately, it still keep my little boy covered and dry. It's just not perfect, so I don't really feel like I can give it 5 stars.

I was looking for a bib with really good coverage that I can use when my daughter is in her high chair and this fits the bill perfectly. The bib is a good size, easy to keep clean, and the velcro attachment makes it easy to put on and take off. My daughter loves the frog design too.

Great bib, comfortable and super practical for keeping little clothes clean! The only little comment I have is the neck opening is too big, but I twist the ends before closing the Velcro and that works just fine! I've bought 6 of these in different colours! Very happy to recommend!

Great for my one year old who always loves to self feed with her little hands, now no more stains on the clothes especially the sleeves. However, would be better if neck area is adjustable as opening is a bit wide, food can slipped down and get into my little one's clothes
