This bib is perfect for baby led weaning. My son gets food absolutely everywhere...and yet none of it ends up on his clothes. Some of my mummy friends double bib with a plastic pelican bib, but I don't bother and I'm still really happy with the result. The main body part of the bib is plastic backed to stop spillages getting through, and the arms are just the flannely material which means that he can still move his arms really easily (I tend to push the sleeves up to about his elbows though to save mess on the bib as his forearms are always covered in food). It has now been washed countless times and still looks just as good as new, the colour is still really vibrant (the picture on here actually doesn't really do the colour justice),

Long sleeved bibs have become trickier in the 3 years since I last needed to buy them. Everywhere just has those thick plastic plastic bibs which babies hate abs tell you as soon as they are able, they are sweaty and noisy and I don't blame them. 3 years ago mothercare m, TESCO etc sold cotton sleeved bibs with plastic backing at the front but now these have disappeared. My ikea wipe able ones are ideal (more like cagoule material, thinner and not noisy) but v big on a 6 month old so these were my effort to bridge the gap. They look lovely and as I was going to a wedding I didn't want my son in the 3 year old stained numbers or disappearing in the ikea ones. So points for that.

Really wonderful bib. We take it with us when we go out. (And sometimes for fruit pots / yoghurt in the mornings). The sleeves are an okay length. I was worried the wrists would be too tight from the image, but I have never had an issue and there have been no marks on baby. The neck fits okay. Although it has survived 60 degree wash with ariel / daz / ace bleach, I somehow think we must have put it on a hot radiator as the plastic bit on the back melted a bit. But oh well, because the front is still okay, we do take it out with us still. I also purchased a few of their other designs because you really can only use once if eating a messy food (as opposed to using it when eating very "tidy" food but just to demonstrate to MIL that you do have a bib for the baby....)

Largely does the job. The only problem I have with it, is that the fabric seems like it might be thin or thinning easily if you wipe it off - I wipe the food from off the collar area and sleeves after my little boy is done eating (I'm not a fan of struggling to get rock hard food out of fabric). I tend to try to flood the area to make it easier to get out, but every time I do it, it still seems thin. I've not noticed it on the other Playshoes bibs I have, either. It's not falling to bits, though, and it's over the plastic underlay, so little man is dry. Ultimately, still does the job, just think it could be a tidge better quality for the price.

The front section is waterproof (material front with an opaque plasticky layer behind) and the arms have a good elastic at the ends so you can push their sleeves up without having to roll.Only criticism - we're using these with our 7 month old and we have to use a safety pin to fasten the thing at the back as the velcro makes the neck way too wide.Also, our first one is getting stained on the front now, and I wonder whether - because maybe it has the plasticky layer - that we won't be able to wash it on a high enough temperature to get that out. Which means it might get so gross at some point in the future that we'll just have to throw it.

I thought the wrist looked tight on the image however they did not fit tight nor did they leave any marks. The neck fits okay. It has survived the wash on 60 degrees with ariel and / or daz and sometimes that light bleach ace. Lovely pale brown colours however we were just going for neutral colours and purchased a few of their other designs which continue to work very well.Used from about the time the baby was 8 months and into Toddlerhood.

I bought this bib as I needed something long sleeved for my daughter who is baby led weaning. Food normally goes everywhere and I wanted to make sure that all her clothes weren't stained with food. Also she's quite big (tall) for her age (10 months) so I wanted something of a reasonable size.This bib turned put to be perfect and I have since bought 3 more. It is a good size, provides good coverage, fastens well and looks comfortable. My daughter likes the teddy ear design on the front too. So, we're happy customers!

Bought this bib for my 6 month old daughter at the start of BLW. I also bought 2 others in different designs. She is now 7 months, eats everything but as expected BLW is certainly messy! I'm so pleased with the bibs I'm about to purchase some more. They are a little on the big size around the neck but I just use a dribble bib underneath and problem solved. Elastic at the wrists keeps the food from getting on the sleeves of her clothes. They wash well too.

Bought this bib for our 6month old daughter for weaning and it is perfect. We bought two different designs and now have ordered two more just to help with the washing situation. They have a little bit of a big neck for her at this age but this is easily resolved by using some bibs we already had from mothercare (dribble/feeding bib) underneath. Her clothes are remaining clean after all her capers during mealtimes and they wash very well too.

I like this bib, especially the foil underlay and the elasticated sleeves. My baby tries to eat by himself so food goes everywhere, this bib definitely protects his clothes more than any other bib i've used. The only thing that could be better is the velcro bit that holds it together around the neck. My baby is only 6 months old and he can already manage to pull it open.

Since the product arrived, my daughter has been keen on wearing this. She used to wear a bib which was really plain design and she didn't like to wear it. I am super happy her to ask me "where is my bib?" when it is washed. Also, quality is good. I have already washed many times but the shape and the lining is still in great condition. I am fully satisfied.

When I read the reviews I was reluctant to buy it, however I needed a bib where my son is covered from neck till belly. So I bought it.In my sons 18 months I tried out many bibs but so far I really enjoy this one. When dirty, I just put it in the wash. Easy to put on and off. And when he spills water all over himself whilst drinking he isn't getting wet.

We bought this for our 6 month old at the start of baby led weaning. This was the best long sleeved bib we bought. Soft flannel arm. Nice design. Waterproof front panel. Since our daughter is still small we do use a Tommee Tippee absorbent bib underneath to get a good seal at the neck. We loved it so much we bought 3 more in different designs!!

Fantastic bib. Protects baby clothes, and this is the only bib which has elastic in sleeve cuffs so that food doesn't go up the sleeve. It is made of soft towelling, great quality. I put small bib around baby's neck to protect it from dark food stains, it works great for us. And baby looks super cute in it, I bought green one as well!
