I am not a shopper and I usually buy the first thing I see. That is what I did here, it had good ratings and I went for it. I am so happy I didn't second guess myself because this bouncer is working perfectly so far (1 week). Our baby sleeps in it and, usually he wakes up from his nap at around 45 minutes, but with this we just bounce him a little and he falls back asleep. He's 4 months old and we're pulling off 2-3 hours naps in this. It's winter here in Korea so we put a blanket on the chair and over him for extra warmth. Another thing is that this bouncer is super duper easy to carry, even without the carrying bag. Just fold and boom, lightweight and thin. We've taken it to my wife's parents house and when my wife and I went out and it was so easy to carry everything. The old rocker I used was awkward to carry and wouldn't fit well in the trunk. The reason I bought this is because while I was taking care of my baby and my wife was working, I always used a rocker to get him to nap during the day, worked like a charm. Yet, out boy grew fast and at 3 1/2 months he didn't like that rocker. We had to take out the cushion we had added to it and then he was sitting uncomfortably scrunched up and wouldn't sleep. So, my wife didn't have a good nap spot for our baby when she got back from work and I went to work. This bouncer is very comfortable for babies and does not scrunch their body at all, so I figure it's good for his posture as well. Now, if you notice the pillow underneath the chair you might wonder why...After I bought the product I read a review that the lowest setting only worked for babies that are under 15.5 lbs. That made me very worried because my 4 month old is 8.2 kgs, a little over 18 lbs. The review said the chair broke and the baby went down. I wasn't going to be able to return the product because of import duties that I paid, and so I was worried I had just blown a good amount of cash. When I read the warnings it said the lowest setting was for 15.5 lbs, but the baby could be placed on that setting if it was heavier, the bouncer would just not bounce. Still, he's my baby and there was that review, so I put the pillow under it. Yet, I actually never use the lowest setting (the sleep setting ). My baby sleeps perfectly fine on the second to last setting so I figured why risk it at all.I would've wished they included those weight limit details in the description on amazon, I just read 3 months to 2 years. But, even so, it's an awesome product and everyone at my home is super happy with it.

The BABYBJORN Bliss Bouncer, Anthracite/Mesh is multi positional lightweight baby seat with three variations in position. The reclining seat allows your baby to sit up and play or rest or sleep whilst gently bouncing without the need for cords or batteries so no noise. The ergonomic design allows for this bouncing action as well as giving the baby full back support on the 100% cotton easy wash mesh that makes up the seat. The seat also folds flat for easy storage or transportation. Once your child has learned to sit unaided, you can turn the fabric around and use it as a children's chair extending the length of time you can use this product. So My 12 month old nephew seems to love it and has already worked out how to bounce it.This is great as after a short time of laughing and bouncing gently he starts to fall asleep which is a nice bonus. I found setup was simple out of the box and using straight away, no complicated putting together that I had with his older brother's bouncer and the cotton material is great. The Ergonomic shape and small holes are excellent giving me confidence in its safety, as my nephew is a real wriggler.Overall I would say the pricing seems very high when compared to other brands but for me all the aspects I mentioned in my review the price only drops the score from 5 to 4 stars. So great bouncing, lots of fun for him and he looks very comfy. I also think the longevity is amazing too as it turns into a little chair for a toddler. Although not the bright colours you would expect on a baby seat I think personally it's stylish and his toys have enough primary colours to keep him happy. I want him bouncing in it not looking at it :).

I must confess I really love bang bjorn bouncers, so much so that I have bought 2 before. Unlike other bouncer chairs this is operated only by you or by your baby once they are big enough to activate the bouncing themselves. The seat is simple in design - with the fabric shaping to support your growing baby. The seat easily folds flat but beware it is still pretty long - though it does make it a bit tidier if your house is totally filled with baby parephernalia like ours. We just tuck them behind the sofa when not using though you'll probably find you use it more than most things. It's great for popping baby in if you need to go for a shower (we keep one upstairs and one downstairs mainly for this purpose)and I have to say I prefer this mesh fabric to the regular fabric - it is a little bit rougher to touch (nothing a blanket of a Muslim can't sort when baby is really small) but importantly it doesn't pick up tons of fluff (we made the error of buying a regular black one - and with a partly carpeted house this wasn't great!) and it dries much more quickly when you wash it - which you will likely need to do a lot! The desigm and removal of the cover is very simple and straightforward and well thought out. I've tried other much cheaper chairs but really nothing matched. Also looking forward to using it as a toddler chair soon. One word of caution though- once your child is fairly mobile )crawling etc) they may be able to get out of the straps so do watch out! We've noticed this at around 10months!

The Cotton Bouncer Bliss is actually identical in frame to the Balance Soft – it’s just the design on the fabric that differs in that it has a quilted look about it but isn’t actually padded. For us, that is a bit of a downside in that it’s not quite as easy to wipe clean with bits getting trapped in the thread design but the cover is easy to remove to put it in the washing machine at 40 degrees. Another downside is while the fabric is reversible to grow with your child (turning it into a chair without the restraint), the design isn’t double sided – it’s just plain dark grey fabric. I do however love the fact this bouncer has 3 seating positions – for play, rest and sleep (although still shouldn’t be in it too long)and will also fold flat for easy storage/transportation to grannies house. The bouncer bounces easily with the babies movement which I prefer to our Rainforest bouncer. I do find the Bliss is a bit boring but you can buy a separate toy attachment. Overall is it worth the price difference between this and the Rainforest bouncer? I do think it is – it will last from birth to 2 years, it will recline, washable, dries quickly. I do prefer the fabric design from the Balance Soft though but just personal preference.

I have, over time, tried quite few different baby bouncers. I have found that the simpler the design the better for a number of reasons. A simple design is usually much easier for the sleep deprived parent to assemble. They are also usually sturdier and last longer. This baby bouncer from Bjorn is very designer looking. It also has a pretty high price tag. The bonus is you can transform this into a seat for a toddler so you get longer than an ordinary bouncer. It is exceptionally comfy and can recline to different positions so lo can nap in comfort in a flat recline. The dark grey is unisex so if you are planning more children, this is good investment. It is super sturdy and feels like it will survive a lot of use.It is completely 'baby powered' and this is great for building core muscle strength and helping lo exercise.I must admit to really liking this and whilst the cost may put some people off, the fact that you can change the recline and also convert it into a seat for a toddler when they outgrow the bouncer, means the cost averages out. Add to that the fact that it is totally unisex so you can use it for future additions to the family, it starts to become better value for money.

This is a wonderful, simple bouncer chair. I'm a big fan of the neutral colour it comes in, grey - it makes it suitable for either sex and you can purchase it as a gift for an expectant mother or before your own is born if you're choosing not to know the sex which is great. The material is wipeable and non absorbent like other bouncers we've owned - previous Fisherprice ones we've had have become very stained but this will remain to look smart and clean. It has no frills. It requires no batteries, it has no gym attached and simply bounces to the child's kicking/movement or aided by your own rocking. My baby is 8 months and it's very comfy for them, the harness is soft and baby can sleep in the chair position also.It can be used up until 2 years which is very useful and also folds flat for storage or to take out in a car which we've never had before so this is incredibly useful.I'd highly recommended this - it's great and looks smart in your home and blends in with no garish colours or music, etc. Another great product from Baby Bjorn.

First impression are of a well made quality product, I did think the box looked a bit basic, given that its priced at £144.The bouncer is made of a mesh type material, a grey colour which will suit both boy and girl.I do like how easy it is to clean, the mesh material lets you wipe it clean, and the grey doesn't show any dirty marks like our blue one used to show.you are also able to remove the fabric and pop it in the washing machine, brilliant. The things I really like is the way it folds for storage, very easy to do, not like a pushchair which I still struggle to open and close. The way the baby sits is good, plenty of back support and the saddle seems to fit really well.Plenty of bounce that the little one can produce and also plenty when you need to rock them to sleep. My only grumble is price, It does seem expensive, however If you don’t want one that is a bright colour with toys and bars attached then you do seem to have to pay a bit more.As a product its brilliant, I leave the price point for you to decide

It's expensive - but it's worth it. It's a very simple, elegant design that has none of the usual gimmicks, such as vibrate. Those poor babies who have to put up with vibrating chairs, as if they have been put next to a building site. The seat can be folded flat and stored away easily, but the fabric is so soft and comfortable your baby will probably want to stay in it often. The seat holds the baby securely meaning you don't have to worry about your child falling out when you pop into the kitchen to make a brew, for example. The fabric is easy to clean - just a quick wipe with a wet wipe usually does the trick (although this probably says more about the versatility of the wet wipe.)You'll be able to use this seat for about the first year of your baby's life without worrying about your child escaping but, by then, your child will probably want to be up and about anyway. Overall, an excellent product.

There’s no denying that this is expensive, but it is very well designed and built. Our little one really enjoys sitting in it.The build quality is very high and it looks certain to last. The mechanics are simple - no electronic gadgets or music. The bounce is fantastic - perfectly pitched and resonanced. There are three easily adjusted height settings and it folds flat for travel or storage. The highest setting is quite upright; ideal for watching telly! The bouncer is light to carry and has good non-slip pads underneath. It has a narrow footprint, but is quite long, so I am a little cautious of tripping over it in our small rooms. This fabric seat is easy to remove for washing or for reversingto make this bouncer into a chair suitable for toddlers.

Wow... Worked wonders for our 6 week old daughter (reflux / colic). My wife has the patience of a saint when it comes to our little girl, where as I'm totally lost when our drama llama kicks off. Bouncer arrived yesterday evening and was put immediately to (very) effective use.Points of note:* Bouncer's adjustable angle means that it works (for us) as both a sloped sleeping and sitting device.* The mesh version worked better for us as any spilt milk just falls through and when in a hurry, the mesh can be readily wiped clean.* Solid, although elegant in design at the same time. Bag / mobile add-ons worth considering. On the whole, value for money in the sense that "you get what you paid for" despite being higher price than other options.

The Babybjorn Bliss Bouncer is an excellent piece of kit, simple, brilliant design and stylish but at a price. The functions and design are top class. In use, you have three useful positions and the whole shebang folds flat for transport and storage. The device is simple. There are none of the whistle and bells attachments in gaudy neon colours that are designed to stimulate baby which is a surprise this is almost an Ikea version of a Baby Bouncer as if all the colour, brightness and fun have been extracted. At the time of writing it is just under £150 which seems far too much for such a simple bouncer. If it were a third of the price it would just- just be worth the cost but 3 times?

It looks great. The colour is amazing and the fabric is easy to remove and wash. We liked the fact that you can just fold it flat and travel with it. Overall a great product and best looking bouncer out there but my baby absolutely hates being in it. We have tried everything and attached more toys but unsuccessfully. Our friends recommended this as their baby was really happy in it. So in the end every baby is different and what works for one might not be good for another. It’s not cheap so I would recommend trying bouncers first if possible ( John Lewis or at friends house). We have had it for 6 months now . Sometimes friends’ babies will use it....

A beautiful well designed bouncer that is well deserved of its 5 star rating. The product description on Amazon is excellent and I really can not add anything to that. However, this is a serious investment piece at £150 but it is nice to see that it can be used as a chair for children up to 2 years old. If you do not need this feature, then it would be difficult to justify paying such a high price. Still, if you can afford It - go for it!Do not use as a bouncer once your child can sit up unaided.Good luck and best wishes to all expectant Moms who are shopping in this category!

This bouncer fits well in to any home and is easy to use. The unit has 3 different positions and can be folded completely flat if you need to get it out of the way, although it is still quite long to store. It is lightweight and comfortable to take to places where you want to lay your baby down. The cotton mesh cover is easy to remove so washing it is not a hassle either, a key requirement. I like that it does not have any obnoxious decorations and toys hanging all over the place. It is a functional piece of equipment, albeit a bit pricey - hence the 4 stars rather than 5.

Intresting idea, you turn the fabric seat part over to make a soft chair for baby when he can sit up and its no longer suitable as a bouncer. I havent had the opportunity to try it with an older toddler but it is a very nicely made and strong bouncy chair, far more substance than the basic wire and cloth versions. Really nice neutral grey colour and would be a great chair for using at grandparents as it folds up really slim and would store behind a sofa or ina cupboard when not in use. Anything which doesnt add to the rising tide of brightly coloured plastic gets my vote.
