I've got this baby's door jumper for my niece in readiness for her first child which is due at the end of the year.On unpacking it, it looks really bright and attractive, the plastics are tough but without any sharp edges, and it appears easy to clean if necessary. The fabric seat can be removed and machine washed. It's also pretty heavy, with several nicely finished metal parts, giving the impression it's really well made. The webbing straps are made of the same stuff I'd use to tie down my old motorcycle to a trailer (ie very strong) and it would have to be one big baby to cause it any damage. They can be adjusted up and down so you can position your child's feet to just touch the floor,as per the instructions included. The door frame clamp fits either side of the top frame and is cleverly designed to grip tighter the more it is pulled downwards, a bit like a pincer. If you live in a modern house with plasterboard walls, you might like to check just how substantial the wall above the door frame is before you insert your child into it, unless you know a good plasterer that is.As with all baby equipment, it's only going to be used for so long before they grow out of it (at about 15 years...) so one important factor has to be the price. I think, for the quality, it's very keenly priced, and of course it's the sort of thing that can be passed on to friends or relatives as the need arises. I doubt it would be worn out for years, such is the standard of construction. To sum up, it looks like a really decent, well made piece of equipment. I can't actually think of anything negative to say about it, apart from I wish I was a lot smaller so I could have a go myself! If this brief review has been helpful to you, I'd appreciate a click of the 'Yes' button, below. Thanks very much.

This takes up a heck of a lot less space, cheaper and a lot more portable than the jumperoo we had for our first child. It was easy enough to set up and adjust and it was put together in just a few minutes. Then we decided to hang it in the front living room doorway and discovered that the wall was too thick and the clamp will not open wide enough. If your downstairs walls are supporting walls and made from blockwork, then you may have a problem. There are no dimensions given on the Amazon page, so it could lead to some returns. The instructions in the box say that the wall thickness should be between 10.2 and 12.7cms and you must also have a door trim of at least 13mm.The trim will also need to be securely fixed as it will be taking the weight. Our upstairs doors are an ideal size, so I use this when ironing and can keep the baby with me so not a total loss. The clamp is surprisingly secure and it doesn't budge regardless on how frenzied the baby is jumping around in it. There are a few stimulus toys like crinkle pads, mirror, rattle etc that can be clipped on and around the jumper though the baby is more content with jumping around than playing with them. The jumper has a nautical theme and covered in a washable brightly coloured fabric. It is a great idea and I like it especially as it packs away quickly and takes up little room compared to the jumperoo. If you are thinking of getting one do bear in mind that when in use you will have to keep the door open which may not be ideal in the winter time and check your door thicknesses before you spend the money.

This door bouncer is bright and attractive and the build feels really good quality too - reassuringly heavy! It was very easy to assemble (click in the 2 halves of the seat frame together then fold the fabric over onto the Velcro patch) then to attach to the doorway it is just a pull open sprung gripper (a bit like a giant peg) - we did lots of yanking and pulling to check it was secure before baby went in and it withstood all our tests.Would be great as an alternative to a jumperoo for bouncy fun and especially good if you don't have the space as this takes up much less room and can easily be taken down when not in use.If you are as reliant on your jumperoo as we were at 7 months (only safe place baby can't injure herself and still be entertained enough for mummy to cook dinner!) I would consider buying one or if you are going on holiday or visiting relatives! The seat was comfortable and little one loved the toys especially the turtle rattle - the design is bright and appealing. The only downside is that at nearly 9 months our little one was too tall to use it! The scope for adjusting height is not very great, and the instructions show baby has to have tiptoes to the floor ( not foot flat on floor) to use safely. While under the maximum weight by a good few pounds, at 74cm she was too tall - she is on 91st centipede for height but bear in mind if your baby is long as you can only use this once they can sit unassisted and can't use it once they are heavier than 25lb or around 72cm so you might only have a month or two of use at the most.

Back in the day I remember these devices first being advertised on Television. My parents bought one for my baby brother. It seemed a lot of fun and I must admit I envied him.The Baby Einstein sea and discover door jumper is one of the latest things but is built on the same principal. You put the baby in and they bounce or jump entertaining the heck out of themselves as they do.(I am rather reminded of the Hamsters in the clear plastic balls but that is just me)The first thing any reasonable parent should ask themselves is the device safe? The answer is a simple yes provided you follow the instructions and locate the device in the correct place. If you examine the clamp it really does grip tighterthe more force that is extended upon it- again super safe. The device itself has that welcome feel of a quality product that is robust and fit for purpose. It is bright and attractive and those surfaces are easily cleaned and sterilized. The support straps are of the highest quality and far exceed the minimum required making the whole device safe. The next question is ‘Is the device fun’.I would say yes provided you engage with your baby and encourage them to discover the delights of the device.Adjustment is very good- the baby’s feet should just touch the floor- again follow the instructions to the letter on this. All that is needed is to check your walls surfaces and you have a great device that exercises, entertains and keeps your child engaged and happy.

No where on the outside of the actual product box or in the Amazon description does it give a recommended age so I think the most important thing to stress this is for older, core stable babies. The last thing you want to do is harm your baby.I used door jumpers for my older children now in their teens with great fun and success but have already bought a jumperoo for my 4 month old as it is more stable but it has a huge footprint so this is great for small areas and I'll put this upstairs to keep baby entertained while I'm cleaning the bathroom etc and to keep and eye plus entertain baby. The quality of construction looks brilliant and it's a bright, vibrant jumper. The outside material is drool proof thin weave and easy to wipe. The inner is soft blue thicker weave. It's easy peasy to attach to a door frame - there is a strong tension giant crab claw type clip you stretch over the frame. Perhaps just a problem if you have extra thick walls. It should fit all modern house frames. If you have other small children around it may be worth considering a more floor based option like the jumperoo.I will report back how my baby enjoys it as his core strength isn't good enough yet to use it safely.

A door jumper takes up much less space than a jumperoo and is more portable when visiting grandparents etc so we thought we would give it a try. This baby Einstein door jumper had sa nice sea theme with four toys attached, they're attached by plastic links do you can move them from place to place to personalise how you prefer - make certain toys easier for baby to reach etc. The four toys are all very functional and I particularly like the flash cards with real photos on it. That's not something I've seen on other baby toys! The other items are a mirror, turtle rattle, and teether. The jumper attaches to the door by a clamp, without needing tools. It holds its weight and feels safe and sturdy enough. It's easy to put baby in and out of the seat, and it's comfy and padded holding baby in a similar way to the seats you'll get in the middle of a jumperoo.

This is a lovely well made and well thought out door jumper. I love the wider seat to get the little one in and out, I like the padded areas very much. The 4 removable toys are lovely too. The door grips are strong and sturdy. The soft leg openings with the padding is a great idea. Looks like it comes apart for cleaning if need be.The spring I found to be a little to tough and so there might not be much bouncing if the baby is a lightweight, which my newest grandson is. But on another note just to be stood up (although aided) can make them find their confidence much quicker.Lovely bright colours, top quality jumper, easy to put together and easy to clean or just wipe down.

This is a good activity / jumper device for young children.Out of the box it is not too difficult to set up. Important to follow the instructions though in order to make sure it is attached firmly and safely. Also you want to make sure that it is set up at the right height for the baby. You want the feet just touching the ground. In use, it seems to be a hit. It is brightly coloured and 'interesting' to a young child. It comes with four removable toys. It is easy to get a chOs in and out and it all seems padded and comfortable.I never knew bouncing could be so much fun!....Would recommend.

This a bright and colourful bouncer which seems well made ensuring your baby is well secured during play. Easy to secure baby into the 'seat' watching them delight in a freedom of movement they have never known before is wonderful and the laughter even more so! The bright, engaging colours are well considered too and whilst I do prefer more pastel tones many will appreciate them and I'm sure almost all babies! There is little to be too critical of here, a good product that gives a lot of enjoyment to both parent and child!

This is a very well made and entertaining bouncer for little ones. Just make sure they are able to suit unsupported before use. It is easy to attach to a door - beware of you have particularly thick walls - and seems very secure. I am pleased with the attached toys to engage baby and the seat feels nice and sturdy as well as easy to put in/remove baby. I think this is money well spent if you have a bouncy baby. As others have mentioned, the jumperoo takes up so much room that this is a great alternative.

The door bouncer has been a firm favourite for generations, they have changed a bit since the old basic elastic band and a seat from the old days though. This seat has adopted the older style of a coat hanger type frame with a seat attached around it. But it is packed with visual stimuli and attached toys to not only help your child play but encourage them to interact whilst they bounce around! It's strong and sturdy, feels well made and of good materials. It feels like it will last.

My firstborn had a plain and in comparison, boring door jumper. The Baby Einstein Sea and Discover jumper holds plenty of entertainment value for a child just finding their feet and capable of holding their head up. The toys are detachable and the straps sturdy and feels safe to let my son bounce up and down in. It clips over the top of the door frame and was easy to assemble. It is a great space saving toy that we will get a lot of use out of.

I read previous reviews and a few people had issues with it not being long enough, the strap is adjustable my little boy is four months old and with the strap moved to the most extended he was almost sitting on the floor so I think peeps may not have been adjusting it properlyHowever the seat is to large and we have to pad it out with a cushionFixed perfectly to a standard door architrave

My nephew absolutely loves this product. He bounces in it continually and gets so upset when we take him out. It's good quality and well made. It is nice and bright which also attracts attention of children. It's easy to use and fitted to our internal doors with no issues. Once down it is easy to store as doesn't take up too much space.Really pleased.
