These are life savers. Bought them because of my husbands snoring. Plus we’ve got teenagers as well, and it’s been nightmare to keep them shush when the small one is having day naps. Overall: For all the reasons I bought these ear protectors, they do it’s job. My son is sleeping through the day absolutely not disturbed at all. Had small party at home, and as well even the loudness of our guests on the hall way didn’t disturb my baby sleeping in his room with the headphones on. Although I would not use them every night, and I still had to kick my husband out to the other room, so far I’m super happy I’ve got them. The fit itself seems to be good for my 5month old small head.Because they are headphone shaped my son can wear them only if he is lying flat on his back, anytime he moves to the side unfortunately the headphones are sliding of his ears. It doesn’t wake him up but the protection doesn’t cover his ears any more. I know there are versions with the headband and then the protection itself can be moved around. I think I’d rather this option more as when my son sleeps sideways I still could use the protection on at least one of his ears. But overall it’s a very good product, literally a life saving purchase.

If I could recommend only one baby product for future parents to buy, then it would be these ear defenders! I can't stress enough how worthwhile they have been! You don't even need to attend airshows or concerts to see how well they work.Once my son reached 5 months, no longer would he sleep anywhere & through anything, he would only have decent naps during the day if he was shut in his quiet bedroom, with my husband & I tip-toeing around the house!Using these ear defenders meant that I could go to the shops whilst he was napping in the pram & the announcements over the tannoy would not wake him..... or if we had family & friends over,we could even put him down for a nap in the same room as us & he would nod off straightaway. We do get a few surprised reactions from other mums & dads who have never come across this kind of thing (!), or parents that think that babies 'need to learn to deal with noise'....... But I for one would rather a calm, relaxed baby who has slept well during his daytime naps allowing mum/dad to run errands at the same time, rather than a cranky, overtired baby (which equals stressed parents!).I wouldn't be without them :-)

We try to avoid taking the baby into any situations where loud noise is present, but on the occasions where it is unavoidable we have used these. The biggest difficulty is getting the baby to keep them on, so we bought these long before we knew we needed them and played games with the baby where he and I had ear defenders on. A lot of the time we have to use distractions until he forgets he has them on.They are easy to adjust, via a sliding strip on each ear. I have put one of the cups over my ear and whilst the size of my ear caused a noise leak, they did deaden external sound. When we have needed to use these they have stayed on,but have had to keep putting them back on when he throws them off.I can't say how comfortable they are because the baby can't say, but they stay on most of the time, so they can't be too bad. Likewise, they must be blocking out a fair portion of the noise as he doesn't get frightened with the noise when it occurs. The baby is just over a year old now and the ear protectors are at maximum extension. If he grows anymore they will have to be replaced.

We bought these for our 5 month old baby for a 4 hour plane ride to Turkey. I must admit I was dubious about these and had doubts whether our baby would find them comfortable enough to wear for anything more than a few seconds. After deliberating for a few weeks (because these aren't cheap for what they are), we decided to purchase. They are very well made with soft materials and have been sturdy enough to have made it through the trials of 4 airports in hand luggage. It's obviously a strange sensation for a baby to have muffled hearing, so the reaction isn't great when you put them on whilst they're awake. However, on the night flight back from Turkey, she dropped off whilst feeding and we carefully slipped the ear defenders on.She slept for the entire flight. Not only that, but she stayed fast asleep through passport control, baggage reclaim, right through to when we got home - simply amazing for a child that's frequently woken by a creaky floorbard!Definitely worth the money, and has other applications, such as fireworks.

Bought these for our then-3-month old boy.The protectors on the band are firm to move but not too rigid, ensuring that the position does not slip. They fitted comfortably on his head and didn't move out of position even with his head turning and leaning against objects such as his buggy and our shoulders!Whilst not able to fully test these ourselves, placing one protector over one of our ears and you got an idea as to how effective these would be at cutting out sound. These were bought to protect our boy at events such as the local gala and highland games - of which pipe and drum bands were a major feature - and also a local music concert. He did not startle or get distressed by the noise levels whilst wearing these earmuffs so I can only assume that they did the job intended (previous pipe bands did startle him when he was NOT wearing these!).

Been using these on my baby since he was about 6 weeks old as I do flyball with my dogs and the competitions are very noisy, we have also used them for bowling trips and cinema trips to reduce sound levels. They seem to be comfortable and certainly reduce the noise levels, he will happily wear them for whole days at a time and has never seemed to notice them. They aren't as light as they claim to be (I believe I weighed them and they were closer to 150g) so I would say you definitely need to offer a new baby extra head support to take the weight, since my baby can hold his head they havent made any difference to him though so I would say the weight is still light enough for even small babies.Allin all I would recommend these if you need noise protection for a small baby.

Bought these for my nearly 4 month old to wear to a relatives significant birthday do as knew it would be very loud with it being Christmas party season. We were so worried about our baby and all the noise. These adjusted and fitted nicely onto his head and he appeared happy to have them on, so I am guessing they felt comfortable enough for him.He actually ended up falling asleep amongst the noise so I would also hazard a guess that they blocked out an awful lot of the noise.Once he woke up he was still happy to have them on but we then left the main party area to a quieter area so removed them. He wore them for approx 1 hour with no obvious issues or complaints. We will 100% be taking them withus to a wedding next year!

Just received a re-order of 4 pairs becuase we liked the first so much. With all of the overseas product scares I don't trust anything for the eyes that isn't from a reputable company. Non-UV kids sunglasses were recently found in stores. Imagine the darkened lenses opening children's iris' with a flood of damaging UV - worse than no sunglasses. Our 2.5 year old is always outside and around water, so I'm not taking chances. A little on the small size, he'll grow into these just fine. We re-ordeded 1 for each car (with a case for each), 1 for the pool, and 1 to lose (hopefully NOT) or maybe gift. This doesn't count the one with his bike helmet and one we hope to find again! We're fans.

I came across this product by accident and am so glad I bought it for my 6 mth baby who hates bright light (think Gremlins!). We took them on holiday abroad with us and I'm so happy we did! It takes my baby a little while to get used to them purely from his viewing perspective changing and gets a little upset initially, but once his eyesight has adjusted (and a little coaching from us) he doesn't even realise he has got them on.These are much better than normal glasses as they are adjustable and the material around the head is lovely and soft against his head so they don't hurt and he isn't tempted to remove them. Would highly recommend them if you have a fellow gremlin...

Really love these baby ear defenders. They seem to block out most noise without stopping my baby from smiling at me while I talk right next to him. They have been fantastic for the building work noises in our kitchen (eventhough I did not buy them for this originally). We use them when he sleeps on the settee and when we go out occasionally. Sometimes they annoy him but I tend to put them on once he is asleep. For my 3 month old they are a bit heavy so I lift him up with plenty of head support. You also can not breastfeed with them on and they are a touch awkward when carrying him around, but great for helping elongate his naps. Plus he looks hilarious in them!

Purchased these for my son in preparation for a local music festival, they fit him perfectly at 4 months but also just about fit on my wife's head so it looks like they will be suitable for a good few years.I was very surprised that my son found them quite comfy and only tried to take them off a couple of times, he won't normally wear a hat for more than a few seconds. The muffs do not press too hard against the ears and the padding is very thick and comfortable. The only difficulty I found was fitting these on my son's head whilst he was in a pram, there was not enough room anymore for him to move his head but that is not a fault with this product at all.

Excellent ear defenders. Got them for my toddler so we can take him to all of his Dad's punk gigs (which are very very loud!). Tried them out this weekend in a very enclosed space with the band and they were fantastic- he could hear enough to dance, but they kept it down to a managable level- so much so he fell asleep half way through! They fit well and I got him to stop taking them off by showing him cool pics online of other kids wearing them, but he was so chuffed with them anyway it wasn't much of a struggle!Thoroughly recommend, I'm looking forward to taking him to all the festivals and gigs I can now!!

Bought for our 9 month old son to go to an athletics event at the Olympic stadium as we knew the crowd would be really loud, and it was, but these blocked out enough volume which meant he wasn't frightened by the noise and could really enjoy the show, but more importantly we knew we were protecting his ears and hearing for the future. He was happy to wear them so they must be quite comfy and we will definitely use them again and again in the future.....plus they are so adjustable they actually fit both me and my husband as well so can actually be used by all the family, bargain!!

While enjoying Fun Family Friday, I noticed that baby Reef Indy was closing his eyes while outside with his Opa. Reef just loves being walked outdoors, but he always squints or closes his eyes. It is very sunny in Southern California, so Oma started wondering if it was ever too early to introduce Reef to sunshine. However Reef just loves the outdoors. I found Baby BanZ online and found them super cute. Oma bought a pair for Baby Reef Indy. The fit perfectly and offered the needed protection! Remember to protect your newborn’s eyes from the harmful effects of the sun.

Got these for my 3 month old as we were going to a festival. They fit nicely, even when lying in a buggy, and are easily adjustable for small heads. I now use them when we are out in noisy places and I want him to have a decent nap as they don't bother him at all. They seem to work really well - not a whimper out of him when asleep with them on in the middle of a very noisy football match! I've tried them for size on my 4 year old too and they still fit, so I anticipate getting years of use from them. They fold up well but a bag to carry them would be good.
