Having never tried Aviation American Gin before (actually - I’d never even heard of it!), I decided to buy it last week when it came on offer via Amazon Treasure Truck. After placing the order, I was worried that I wouldn’t like it - especially as one reviewer had liked it to Opihr gin (which I can’t stand!).Well, I needn’t have worried. I poured my partner and I a double measure each, over ice, mixed with slimline tonic water and a slice of fresh lemon. Wow. The first thing that got me was just how smooth this gin is! Seriously - it’s super smooth and silky - kind of like how Grey Goose is such a smooth vodka. And then came the flavour - so subtle and beautifully well balanced,

This is the smoothest gin I have ever drunk. This is the bees knees. It is so mellow that when I had it over rocks on its own you could not taste the typical bitterness of the gin at all. Don't get me wrong it still packs a punch. Add tonic and u have a silent killer in the glass. It's just sitting there like a German u boat waiting to torpedo your skull as soon as you get up from the table. And to the middle and eastern European customers: remember that time when you could get spiritus(96% alcohol) and diluted with water 50/50 to get 60% vodka??? This stuff will throw you on your grandma's carpet faster than you can say "Moth£&€¥¢¶∆®" while falling of your chair. Long story short, if you never had gin,

Now I can't speak for the flavour because it's a gift, but it looks fantastic. I had this in my wish list for a while so I could order it as a gift for my Dad, and I'm so glad it did. I have no doubts about the authenticity, it just looks impeccable.It was delivered in a box labelled as fragile, and on the inside it was carefully wrapped in bubble wrap. Now I do think there was a slight leak, but there was no damage done and there was no noticeable difference in volume inside the bottle, so it was no worry. I just put some tape around the lid to keep it secure until Christmas and done.This is definitely the perfect gift for the gin lover in your life (bonus points if they're a Ryan Reynolds

After hearing about this and learning that it was American gin- I am only used to English gin- I was very interested to see the difference and bought it as a gift to myself. I will say that the taste is smooth and it has a nice flavor to it. I will also say that it is a fantastic gin for people that are new to gin. It doesn't have the classic juniper flavor to it and it is quite light in flavor. For people that say they don't like gin because it "tastes like trees", this is a gin they would love. Saying that I do enjoy it and I am in love with the bottle itself! A very good gin to try.

I usually buy London gin or something like beefeater. Not budget but not premium. Regular supermarket brands. This is definitely in the premium bracket at 3x the cost of the regular brands and to be fair it tastes a lot nicer. The tastes of the gin come out and a good quality tonic helps too. The whole thing is set off by a beautiful bottle too with an art-deco feel. Very nice. Is it worth 3x the cost - probably not quite, but its defiantly worth trying over your usual brand

My boyfriend is both a big Ryan Reynolds and gin tan, so this seemed like a great gift.I was disappointed in how cheap the bottle looked? The label was squint and looked badly made. I thought I had maybe been given a fake. However, his friend also bought him the gin, and the labelling was the same.Boyfriend loves the taste of the gin though, so I suppose that’s what counts. Although it could be he never wants to speak ill of Mr Reynolds...

I bought this because of the Ryan Reynolds adverts on youtube - advertising works!Love Ryan, love deadpool, love youtube, love gin - what could possibly go wrong?Well... nothing as it turned out - love the taste, too. We buy a lot of "craft gin" and some of it is nice but a lot of it tries too hard. By comparison, this is very easy to drink and very smooth. Love it!

This delicious gin was bought by me, for me and not shared with anyone else. Now it's all gone and I'm sad.I will definitely buy another.I kept it in the freezer and served it with a wedge of lime and elderflower tonic.Smooth, crisp, clean flavour.Recommended if you're a fan of Hendricks or Tanqueray 10.Bottoms up!Packaging was good and delivery was swift.

Bought as a repeat gift for a family member.It is more expensive than most gins - however it in seemingly deserving of the price tag, as I’ve bought this 3 times now!The bottle is striking and unique.The delivery packaging is very protective - I never have a concern about the product being damaged on arrival. It’s easy to wrap this up if regifting.

Ultimately, taste is subjective, of course, but I absolutely love this drink. As a usually big whisky taster, I've not really been into other drinks as much. But there's something about this gin that is just delicious.Love the stuff and can't recommend it enough.Plus, once you've had a few, Ryan Reynolds magically appears and starts talking to you...

I tasted Gin in my teens and thought it was the most disgusting thing I'd ever drank.30 something years later, actor Ryan Reynolds advertises Aviation Gin. As a movie nut, I thought I had to try it.Completely different from the Gin I knew and very smooth.Gin & Tonic's made with this are one of the best drinks I've ever had.

Bought this as I like gin and am a fan of Ryan Reynolds - similar to when I bought Haig Club launched by David Beckham. I have to say that this is by far the best gin we have purchased to date! It’s cheap, great packaging and tastes incredible! So smooth you can drink it neat. Buy if you like citrus undertones...

Bought this cuz it’s Ryan Reynolds gin. We’re not gin drinkers usually, we like vodka/tequila.However this is a nice drink. A beautifully smooth gin with a lovely flavour (I think they call them botanicals)It appeals to us as it tastes like a high quality vodka.I’d buy again

Purchased this as a “treasure truck” deal for £20 which was perfect! Was wanting to try this for a while and the deal was a great way to do this.Flavour is great, very good mixable gin & pairs well with many tonics/lemonade/ginger ale. Lovely classic bottle with classic taste

Haven't tasted as bought for gift. Delivery was a little awkward as it needed to be signed for and proof of age provided. Tried to deliver twice but I was a work and wouldn't leave with neighbour. Luckily, 3rd attempt, my husband had come home early from work, so was home.
