As there are no reviews yet I wanted to add some early impressions. I'll return and update if these change.Background:I am upgrading from a Pallit GTX 970 that was intalled in my custom PC. I have I6700k, 32 GB RAM. IO bought this card when it was first listed for 475, which at present is cheaper than the 2070 Supers listed.InstallationInstallation was easy--the card is a little thicker and longer than my old one but fitted in the case. Once I had realised I needed to take a plastic guard off the connector installation was very easy.The card has a backplate and a single stripe of light that can be seen through a case window. These things don't bother me.NoiseSo far it is slightly quieter than my old card,and I haven't noticed any coil whine, which is a blessing. Under load the noise comes from the fans and is certainly audible but relatively deep in time which I prefer. Forget the 0db marketing term...when in use you'll know the fans are working hard.Power.This connects with a 6 and an 8 pin, where my previous card was 6 and 6. Happily one of my power cables has an extra '2' piece that just joins with one of the 6's. I have a 650W PSU and have noticed no problems.Performance:OK--this is the bit that matters.Coming off a 970 I was hoping to be able to max everything out and achieve 60+ FPS. I have a gysncy monitor so don't need to match a specific target.The performance is roughly 2.2-2.6x my old card in everything I have so far tried. All test below are at max, with only settings I dislike turned off, such as chromatic abberation. I did run some with 4xmsaa rather than 8, but with the 970 I never used any msaa on these titles.The Witcher sees the greatest bump. With everything on max, including hairworks, a typical scene gets arround 80fps at 1440p. Hoping this stays above 60 in the most challenging areas of the game.Dirt Rally 2. Previously I had to make compromises to hit 60, now eveything is on max and it is comfortably over the 60 fps, ofetn around 80.Forza Horizon 4. The built in benchmark on Ultra (without motion blur) got 50fps average, with a min of 43. Now I get 136 average with a min of 124.GTA V has every single option on max and stays above 60 during the benchmark for the vast majority of the time-with just the odd dip into the 50s. Just turning down a single intense setting could fix this.Ashes of the singularity was 31.6 average on the 970, and is now 72.93D Mark timespy went from 3544 on the 970 to 9024 now.ConclusionIn conclusion, the performance increase is in line with what you'd expect from the increase in Terraflops over the 970.It's great to be able to max everything out, though to be fair the 970 has been out for years, and a 2.5x gain for quite a lot more money does imply Nvidia have been resting on their laurels a little.I'm expecting that this card will go toe to toe with the new console generation, with the added ability to tweak settings to my preference and stick at 1440 rather than striving for 4k.If 4K is your thing, I'd expect you'll still need to make some setting tweaks to hit it. I haven't yet tested any raytracing games.Hope that is some help.

Easy to install because it takes all its power from the motherboard, there's no need for additional power direct from your PSU. It will cope with most games at 1080p I doubt it'll cope consistently well with resolutions above that. If you want a graphics card that can cope with 1440p or higher you are going to have to pay for an Nvidia RTX 2060 Super or higher as the GTX 16xx series even with large amounts of memory and overclocking won't consistently cope with the demands of fast paced, high resolution and high refresh rate games.The analogy I'd use, if you expect more from such a humble card is like trying to run a 1.0 litre VVTi engine with a bolt on Turbocharger on nitroglycerine and expect it to repeatedly beat a Porsche 911,it's just not going to happen!This is the graphics card that for the occasional personal gamer who's not bothered by not having pixel perfect graphics, who mainly uses their PC for general home computing working within a tight budget, this card is for non-gaming specific PCs. Asus build not make, and in buying Asus you get longevity as much as speed, especially if you don't push their products past their limitations, the overclock values on Asus products are low as to retain that longevity.A rule of thumb for gamers - you need at least an Intel i5 processor or AMD equivalent, 8 to 16 GB of ram, your page filing turned off, and your operating system working off the minimum of an SSD (500GB capacity) and preferably a PCIE NVME of similar capacity on a 'H370' or AMD equivalent chipset motherboard: expect to pay at least £800 without a case and then spend two thirds as much again on your graphics card. If you don't commit up front, and try cutting corners you will end up with something that you will resent not long after trying to load up your first game. Much rubbish is talked in amateur computer circles about how little they have spent, most of it is vacuous and fatuous piffle that makes them look rather ridiculous, do yourself a favour and don't get sucked in.

Put against a standard size Dual Evo graphics from Asus it is noticeably smaller but obviously not is small as an Asus Phoenix. It sits nicely in a Cooler Master Cavalier "Heritage" or "Legacy" mid tower case from the Early 2000's which by modern standards hasn't got that much space in it and the limitations are caused by immovable drive cages. The compact size meant I didn't have to take out all the other PCIE cards to have enough room to fit it without gaining shredded knuckles!On the operating side it is when unstressed silent, and under stress testing virtually silent, certainly not adding any noise over the five 120mm Corsair and the remaining one 80mm Akasa "Heritage" fan that reside in case that increase in noise at the various components warm up under stress test conditions.Linked against either the Asus BE27AQLB and Samsung LU32J590UQUEN monitors, it gives nice clean crisp pictures at full resolution of both whichever connection method is being used; be it Display Port, DVI-D, or HDMI.It is giving back better bench mark values than expected for a RTX 2070. I have read it somewhere that someone who was given a sample to review by Asus stripped the card down and found codings that they considered made it a down rated RTX 2070 Super; their speculation, not mine and I have no intention and dismantling to confirm this, I just really happy with it as it is!

This was an upgrade to a GTX 750 Ti card which was struggling with my new 3840x2160 monitor. It card is slightly bigger than I was anticipating but it just squeezed in to my BitFenix micro-ITX case. I use linux mint and I forgot to upgrade the Nvidia proprietary drivers before installation so I initially got a software rendered 640x480 display (which is slightly disconcerting on a 43" monitor), but after an apt install of the latest drivers (440.44 for me) and a reboot everything is working well.I'm only using the card for standard desktop work most of the time with a bit of light gaming. So far the desktop has been very smooth.The card immediately started up at 60Hz over the HDMI connection I am currently using which is a great improvement over the GTX 750 Ti card which could only manage 30Hz and the desktop was extremely juddery when moving anything.I work from home and I use this PC almost all day, every day. The card is to all intents and purposes silent. I can hear a slight whisper from under the desk if I think about it but I think that is the CPU fan not this card.A perfect card for my needs.

Most reviews seem to slate this card, but it has one particular use in which it works great; if you need to keep power draw low!I've put this in a prebuilt Dell 3020 MT paired with an i5-4590, 16gb ram, 120gb ssd and a 500gb hdd. This card is perfect as it draws all the power from the motherboard so (for my pc at least) a psu upgrade wasn't needed (and therefore this worked out cheaper than the AMD equivalents (even if they perform better overall). I haven't had a problem consistently hitting 60fps at 1080p in any title with predominantly high settings (the most recent games I play are Star Wars Battlefront 2 (2017), GTA V, and COD BO3- all of which run amazingly).My only issue would be that the card does seem to get rather hot when under load (consistently hitting the maximum of 82 degrees even with an aggressive fan curve), but if I wanted to reduce performance (dial back the factory OC) to rectify this I definitely could.Overall I'm very happy with this card! It might, however, be worth waiting to see what the GTX 1650 Super brings to the table before pulling the trigger on this card!

I've been away from pc gaming for a while and when i decided to build a new rig i did a lot of research mostly because of budget. This card has met and exceeded my expectations. It is powerful enough to handle the aaa titles that are out now and for the foreseeable future.Although i haven't tried the vr functions, everything else is flawless. It's super quiet under normal conditions and not much louder when "gaming mode" is activated. The twin frozr keeps this thing cool and working with no issues. Straight out of the box i get between 80 and 100 fps on 90% of the games that i play even running two monitors at the same time.Even though this thing can be overclocked,i'm saving that for when i find a game that i love and play everyday that won't get me to at least 80 fps.

I got this for one of my video editing machines, not a gaming machine, as the card that was inside it died. I didn't need anything crazy powerful but wanted to get something that would do the job for a few years for a modest budget. Mostly I edit in DaVinci Resolve but have also been testing it in Premiere Pro, Insta360 Studio and Blender.Surprisingly, it didn't require a 6 or 8-pin power cable from the power supply and consumes less power than the GTX 760 it replaced. It's much quieter than that was, too.Sure, it's not going to compete with higher-end cards like the RTX 2080, but for the money, it's a very decent card. If I were to buy again, it'd definitely be in the running,although I'd possibly consider spending a bit more for the GTX 1660 Super instead.

ASUS Dual GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER 6GB OC Edition GDDR6 EVO with two powerful Axial-tech fans.Haven't had any issues with this card ,plugged it in to a Tomahawk Max board with a 3700x cpu and it's been great with all my pc games ,watching tv ,browsing e.t.c.Got this instead of an equivalent AMD card due to less power draw and good specs for what you get .I prefer AMD's software to Nividia's ,seems a bit too invasive for my liking but you can stick with just the drivers if you want.Though even that has problems with confusion coming from two different drivers packages available.Also Win10 hijacked my driver install and i had to do some tweaking so i could do my own driver install.But overall anice bit of kit for the price.

I previously had an RX 570 (two actually), but found them to be rather noisy; even when applying the Radeon Chill feature. Yes, the RX 570 is the faster card, but I just couldn't deal with the noise; especially as I have to occasionally write reviews on certain gaming products.With my dual screen setup (one for the game, and the other for my word-processor), I can now type away without listening to the constant whirl of fans. In most games, I get over 60 frames per second, which when you consider both my monitors have a refresh rate of 60Hz, anything over, is pretty much overkill.So, if you're looking for a quiet casual gaming card suitable for mid to high 1080p gaming,then I highly recommend the 1650.

I brought this card from another well known online retailer.The card feels well made and went in no problems.Updated driver from nvidia site and works well.Brought so forza horizon 4 works without stutters and pleased to report that it works fine with high settings. Limited to 60fps and gpu sits at about 70-80% playing at 1080p.The card was just as I wanted as didn't want to have to replace the power supply as only had a 6 on connector and alot of newer cars are on 8 pin.

As expected but never really understand why these cards cost so much. Awful time trying to register with Nvidia due to problems with confirmation email service not working so frustrating times. Nvidia customer service poor. Pay high price for a product I expect high quality service. Card itself it ok. Quiet but still has render lag on high settings even though I have 64g memory and i7-9

Love this product. Easy to install and plays majority of games 1080p 60fps when cracked upto Ulta settings!Coupled this with my AMD 3600 CPU (yes over powered but give me upgradability later on) cannot go wrong.If you are in the market for a mid range GPU this it is!Haven't had chance to test the streaming capabilities but will update when I do.

Bought an ati card but after installing I was getting constant crashes while playing fallout, returned and got this instead and not had a single issue since.Whether or not the ati card was faulty or if it was a driver conflict issue somewhere I don't know, either way very a huge improvement compared to my gtx560ti.

My Gtx 1080 took it's final breath. Until the incompetents at my local shop will get it replaced I bought this card. Was surprised that all games can run on medium/ high specs just as well. Is a fifth of the gtx 1080 in terms of cost , more silent and energy efficient. Definitely a good buy

I had lost interest in gaming, so bought this to replace my aging GTX 470 and my gaming's gone from zero to hero. Really happy with the ASUS TUF GTX 1660 Super runs every game I throw at it. Delivery was well before expected time.
