Build Quality 5/5All components are very strong and solidly constructed, I doubt if any of them will break. I gave the plastic a good squeeze and it didn't budge at all. They feel like something which was built in the USA rather than Japan if that makes sense, more materials have been used then are strictly necessary and everything is big.Environment 3/5The packaging provided is too big and bulky for the product. They have created a large display cabinet for them, which is very impressive but you won't be storing them in the box so what's the point? All the cardboard and plastic looks recyclable though which I like, there's just too much of it.Design 5/5I like the design overall. The great thing about USB headphones is that you don't have to keep unplugging them when you want to use your speakers. Having the controls in front of you is also a lot easier than trying to adjust controls you can't see. The magnetic cups for the ear pads are also very easy to use. The sliders for the headphones have lines on them so you can adjust them to a particular setting, and as you do the cable length will change inside them. The microphone and ear pads can also be removed and changed if needed. All these features are well thought out. The design is a bit too showy for my taste as it looks like it belongs in a sci-fi film.Mix Amp 4/5The "mix amp" is used for adjusting volume and also the balance between game sounds and voice communication. It also has 4 preset equalizer settings and a dolby source button. The dolby source button lets you switch between standard and passthrough for voice. At first this feature didn't seem to be working and when the dolby mode was active any sounds would sound very echoey but it seems ok now. It's a bit big overall for what it does, but the buttons on it are really nice.Connections - PCPC connection requires a USB micro cable (any cable works). You also need the special 3.5mm phono cable which comes in the box. One end of it is also larger than the other and it has an inline mute switch. No other cable will work but this one and if it breaks you will have to buy a special A40 cable as a replacement.Connections - PS4The connections are the same for PS4 except you will need to use the digital optical out.Headphones 3/5They are very comfortable and soft but they quickly become too hot to use. I can't leave them on for longer than 30 minutes. Not that they cause a lot of sweat, just a lot of heat. I think it's the materials chosen which seem to cause a buildup of microscopic friction. The ear cups are only just big enough and do seem to cause an abrasive effect on my ears as well. Adjusting them is simple but is easiest when you're not wearing them. The headphones can be tilted forwards until they both face forwards, and the ear pads also move independently for maximum ergonomics. But they do not fold up like more portable headphones and perhaps that is the point with them.Sound Quality 5/5The quality of the headphones for music is exceptional, it's easily some of the best I've ever heard. I like the choice to use wired which is definitely better for sound quality. The clarity is amazing and I hear new sounds in music I've not noticed before. The bass is not too strong but that is more to my taste.PS4 Usage ?/?I couldn't test with my PS4 as it doesn't have an optical digital output. Make sure you check this before purchasing.ConclusionsThe headphones are very high quality and well designed, but the heat and discomfort they produced on my ears made them unbearable to use. I have quite sensitive skin so if you aren't like me then you might not have this problem. It's difficult for me to give a star rating as a result.

I was very excited to get these, as I spend 90 percent of my life wearing headphones and have sampled many sets over the years - but never such expensive ones as these. I was hoping they would show me what really top-of-the-range headphones can do, and they didn't disappoint.Well, truth be told, at first I was very disappointed, but that's because I'm a moron. I plugged the short jack into the headphones and then spent about 10 minutes trying to force the long jack into my laptop, getting increasingly frustrated that it didn't fit. It took an embarrassingly long time for me to consider the possibility that it might work better with the cable plugged-in the right way round. Doh!Once that little blip was over, and I'd thanked the gods of rock and roll for the fact that I hadn't phoned Astro to complain about their faulty jack plugs, I started the tests:First I tested the mic by recording myself performing a Shakespeare soliloquy at various input volumes to assess the crispness of the mic, and how much ambient sound it picks up. It actually sounded slightly better than my studio mic, but would not be appropriate for studio use as it also picks up lots of mouth noise (pops, clicks etc) and also nose-breathing sounds. However, it doesn't pick up any more unwanted background noise than my studio mic, which is surprising. Overall, the mic's quality is very good, certainly more than required for its primary purpose in gaming. Then I tested the headphones, and by golly they are good. Really, really good. Quite excellent, in fact. I listened to a variety of different music genres at varying volume levels, and could find no fault in any of the headphone's sound reproduction. They sound just amazing. It's hard to pin down exactly what is so different - and so much better - than any of the other headphones I use, because it's a combination of so many overlapping details. But I simply found their sound exquisite. And the games I like to play need it, as they all have very intense symphonic orchestral scores. This headset is definitely the best for the job.And I should also point out that it is - by a very large margin - the most comfortable headset I've ever worn. It is pretty heavy, being solidly constructed from top-quality materials, but as soon as it's on your ears it seems to disappear. You could easily forget you were wearing it. The design is simple, sophisticated, elegant, and intelligent, with swappable components and a pleasing aesthetic. I honestly can't praise it enough.I had hoped that a more expensive headset than my normal £30-50 variety would be noticeably better, but I hadn't expected there to be such a clear difference. (And I mostly use Sony headphones which are pretty darn good). Overall, this headset has blown me away. I'm a little ashamed that I recently gave 5 stars to a cheaper and inferior headset, which left me nowhere to go with these ones. So, to be absolutely clear, I'm awarding 10 stars to this headset, even though Amazon only has a maximum of 5.Brilliant product!

I purchased the black/blue headset mostly for Xbox One without the MixAmp (the box prominently states for PS4 though, not sure why it is ‘made for PS4’).I think the sound is great for Xbox gaming, music and movie watching. I have an issue with comfort unfortunately. The headsets hurt both of my ears and head around the ears, mainly the left side one – I can feel my ear on yeh speaker driver. It seems like the headset is very comfortable at first and it takes maybe 30 minutes or so to begin to get painful. The top of my head also aches a little with the thin padding and I have no hair at all so that does not help. It also starts to give me a headache, I think.I had considered buying the mod kit but I don’t want to pay another £45+ ish for them when I will only really want to use the ear pads and the top cushion. Anyway, the leather pads do not seem that much thicker than the stock ones. I prefer open backed design and apparently the mic is not as good as the stock one so I expect I would not use the microphone of speaker tags.Speaking of the microphone. I think it sounds good and it’s useful that it rotates all the way around. I am not bothered it cannot be muted because I attached the headset to the Xbox stereo adaptor which makes it easier to adjust volume and mute the mic (It’s a very good ‘thing’ and if you don’t have the adaptor you should get one). The cable is rubbery, long and removable but at the top and where the main jack is, is quite long before the cable material starts and it can interfere with clothes I am wearing if they have a high collar. I If turn my head to the left the cable kind of gets in the way because it’s so stiff. I hope that explanation is clear. It’s not too bad though and I could live with that minor issue. The headset is simple and quick to adjust and finding the right position is easy and the ear cups move a little bit while on your head. The volume of the headset while listening to music is slightly less loud than HyperX headsets I have tried and I can increase the volume to maximum on my Android phone, but I’d not want to listen to music that loudly. In-game sounds are loud enough and I would not want to play games at max volume as that would be too high. I tried Windows Sonic and Dolby Atmos on the Xbox and IMO Windows Sonic sounds betterI expect this headset will be returned to Amazon in the new year because of the comfort issue I have, if the pads were thicker or if there were third-party pads that would fit, I expect I would give them a go and hopefully that would mean I could continue using the headset.I am disappointed because the headset is pretty good otherwise. Definitely one of the best I’ve tried and I’ve tried a lot!Interesting fact, there are currently 58 ratings on Amazon and 16 of them are VINE.

This headset and mixamp is designed for PC and PS4 gamers, and more so for the streamer in mind. The Mixamp and software makes it easy to get the volume and clarity right of chat, game noise, background noise and your microphone - for both what you can hear yourself, and what you would want streaming out. I'm also a big believer in respecting the sound design of games - like films, there's a whole craft and thought process in it as an experience, and you need great speakers or headphones to fully validate it.So I personally find the presets on this weird. They don't make much sense; the night setting sounds the same and the stream setting allows too much background noise in.I prefer to customise my own and not use these personally. There is a tournament mode, but i've not got the capabilities to test this fully. Apparently it's the most aggressive setting for curbing the peaking of shouting on your own mic, and blocking out background noise.A word on the Dolby Surround Sound - it's emulated, because of course they are a stereo headset and not a 7 speaker setup. For me as a sound nerd this is noticeable. It's made marginally better by using an optical cable in but I wouldn't buy these solely based on the DSS.This PC/PS4 version is cooler coded to the PS4, which is a great addition if you're interested. They've got the match spot on, with that futuristic design. The details are interchangeable (you can buy custom ones from the Astro website) but for me, it's the sleekness of the ergonomic design that does it. The input ports are on the bottom of the earphone cup, in line and logical, and the mixamp is slick with the headphone input only on the front, PS4/PC labelled LED's to know which setting you've got, and a simple and easy set of ports on the back. It's like an Apple design but without the annoying pretentiousness. There is a daisy chain port if you're playing or streaming alongside someone else in the room, and they also have an A40. It's a micro USB input port. The size adjustment on these is perfect, being an almost hydraulic push up and down motion which fixes in to the exact position no problem. What's also great about these, is that they are comfortable when wearing glasses. I always have the problem with headphones of this not being the case. They are wider than most and don't have much give in the horizontal stretch, but this works out for me.Overall, I like them a lot. The Mix-amp and software for me is the best bit. t's fluent, it works, it's got both an easy physical and digital interface. You can buy it separately if you already have a go-to headset you like, and it will work like any normal 3.5mm jack input.

For years now my son has been asking me to set up YouTube channel for him so I've decided I will start acquiring accessories slowly as we've decided that his 10th birthday will be good start. It took me a while to work these out to be honest, the instruction provided does not include any troubleshooting FAQs, which is a shame for somebody like me (beginner).First I had problem connecting them to PS4. Instruction says just plug into PS4 remote and you're good to go. Well you're not, what you also have to do is go to yourPS4 settings>Devices>Audio Devices>Output Device> headsetThen go to Output to Headphones>All AudioYou can also adjust the volume in this menu (it's a shame that you can't do thaton your headphone cable). Also useful thing to do is to tick Switch Output Devices Automatically. For microphone and recording problems you can go to Settings>Devices>Audio Devices>Adjust microphone levelAlso go back to Sharing and broadcast>Audio Sharing Settings>Include Microphone and Video Clips and Include microphone audio in broadcastThey are very comfortable, even for a long volume of time. They seem large but are very light. The padding is in all the right places and they feel weightless. The SOUND is exquisite, overall practical use experience is the best I've ever had.The adjustments are design so well that headset fits 9 year old and an adult with the same comfort. Hands down the best headset we've ever had in our household (to be true the most expensive too) but as I always say you get what you pay for.I was puzzled what is MixAmp for, do I need it in order to use these? What I've found out is you can use the headphones without it, but if you don't have it you don't have quick volume control (you would have to go to PS4 settings to adjust it) Which is a bummer.I have also been advised that it's good to have it as they are bass heavy unless you have equaliser that is compatible with them. The mic - it's long and sometimes picks up unwanted sounds like breathing but as it's flexible you can adjust it the way you want it for yourself (just take time and find positions that suits your face best). You can also buy Mod Kits (speaker tags, mic, head and ear pads) I find them being overpriced (at 60£) and unnecessary. The things that could be improved:It could be BluetoothIt could have volume control integrated with mute buttonIt could have Troubleshooting instructions for beginners or link to website with how to videosI would have given 5* if they had volume adjust on the cable and better instructions.

Unboxing/PackagingOverall the box and packaging arrived in mint condition. The box was a reasonable size for the headset, and was very slick in design. From the artwork on the inner box which contained the headset, to the secure plastic which surrounded the headset. The box was easy to open, and no time was wasted setting up the headset with the two cables that came with it - one for console, another for PC.General UseFrom the start, both headset and cables were easy to assemble and ready to use for gaming. I’m using this with my Xbox Console, and it worked straight away from plugging the cable from the headset to the bottom of the controller. Being a fairly frequent gamer, the headset ticked most of the box’s ‘any gamer needs’.Comfort was amazing, the ear cups and head pad on the top of the headset were a very nice soft velour type material, and the ear cups were a nice size for any size of ear. The adjustable headband has a nice range and would most likely fit most people’s heads. However, I wouldn’t recommend for children with slightly smaller heads as it might not fit. Overall, I’m more than happy having a long session wearing this as it’s comfortable and lightweight and doesn’t cause me any discomfort.Quality wise, without the Mix-amp, the sound is great, I’ve played many different genres of games which required good hearing and awareness and I put the headset to the test, and I was fairly impressed with the rich bass and great overall sound which came from it. If you’re upgrading from a fairly old headset, this will be a definite game changer for people looking for a good quality headset. The detachable microphone provides my teammates with a clear sound of my voice, and picks up hardly any background sound, so if you’re a hard button basher on a controller or own a fairly loud mechanical keyboard or even in a loud environment, your teammates are not going to be irritated by background noise. I’ve asked for my teammates feedback on my sound, and they were impressed. The mic can be adjusted easily, and isn’t in a fixed position, as I thought would be the case from the images of the product. In conclusion, I’m very impressed with the performance of the headset and would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to upgrade. It will suit any type of play style and ability, from a hardcore gamer to a casual gamer.

ASTRO Gaming A40 TR Wired Gaming Headset + MixAmp Pro Gen 4 for PS4 & PC - Black/Blue (with Dolby Sound)My husband has tested these as he's the gamer, not me!So this review is from him....Headset + MixAmp Pro TR Controller is a very nice gaming headset, even the packaging is has a certain 'wow' factor to it. Upon opening the box, it's clear that alot of thought was put into the design of this headset, both for style and functionality; it looks great and just feels well made. This headset is a bit heavier than my current Logitech set, but they're also quite a bit more comfortable. The extra padding on the earcups and headband go a long way toward that added comfort, but I believe the headband adjusters are a huge reason they're more comfortable; once you get them where you want them, they stay put and the headset seems to simply hug your head. I've worn these for hours, and so far I've never felt like I needed a rest from them. The sound from this headset is superb, especially with the ability to set up customized EQ settings that can be switched with the press of a button on the mixamp. The headset is also highly customizable. You can place the mic on either side, swap out the earcups, headband, and even swap out the magnetized eartags for customized ones if you like. I have the headset hooked to my PC, and I haven't used all of the functionality of the mixamp. However, the mixamp, like the headset, seems very well built. It's heavier than I expected, and the dials offer some resistance when you're adjusting them, so midgame, you're not going to accidentally swing the volume too far. Also, as I mentioned earlier, I found the ability to switch between 4 EQ settings by merely pressing a button to be quite useful when gaming. The downloadable software from Astro allows you to change the EQ presets, mic settings, and even create your own settings files that you can save and load. This allows you to easily fine tune the sound to your liking.Overall, I think this is great headset. The comfort and sound are both greater than the previous headsets I currently have, so I'm fairly confident I'll be using these going forward. I would recommend these in a heart beat..... So no issues but these don't come cheap but believe me you won't be dissatisfied.

ASTRO Gaming A40 TR Wired Gaming Headset + MixAmp Pro Gen 4 for PS4 & PC - Black/Blue (with Dolby Sound)In the box.The headphones, mixer console, leads, instructions and detachable boom mic.Set up.You can use these straight out of the box without the mixer as a wired pair of gaming headphones. With the mixer box wired between the headset and computer you get full customisation options.Build quality. They are superbly made and can take mod kits. They look the business and are built to last. They are very strong and fully adjustable for comfort.Comfort.They are really good to wear even for very long periods of gaming or music. The ear pads are soft and the band well padded. You can change the ear pads via mod kits at extra cost. The ones supplied are nice and soft.Sound.On games these are really good but seem dependant on the quality of the sound chip or card, understandably. The mix box enhances the sound and you can save customisations for different games depending on the box or computer used. On our gaming laptop (HP) the sound was very good with plenty of detail. On the Xbox the sound was equally as good. Using it with the PC which has a very high-end Turtle Beach sound card these became amazing. We heard things that we could not on the other systems. The sound space was much wider and the bass tighter. The 3D quality of games was very evident on this system with sounds coming from every direction, even above and below which was quite a revelation. These can really rock with the right equipment. We compared them to many other sets we have and these really are very good for the money. A big investment but if you want the best sound you will be rewarded. They definitely respond better with high end systems. We even tried them to listen to concerts with and they were as good as my Bose Bluetooth headphones which cost about the same, in fact I would say these had a slight edge in the bass department – not bad for a gaming set!Overall.Well made with a great sound but they need a good source to really open up. They are even great with music sources so can double for that as well. A big investment but well worth it for the sound you will get in my opinion.

On it's own I'd rate the Astro A40 Headset as being good, but the addition of the Mixamp in this combined set takes it up a notch to excellent.PLUS POINTS* Excellent, punchy sound with Dolby, for immersive 3D gaming experience* Comfortable headset with generously padded cushions* Good adjustment range for different sized heads* Microphone performance is good* Mixamp gives easy, direct sound level control* Combined set saves £80 on individual purchase prices.MINUS POINTS* No Bluetooth, just cable fed* Headset is bulkyMy first impressions of the headset were of something slightly bling and a bit chunkier than absolutely necessary. This has a bit of an American look to it,and with the overall bulk and silver metal tubes on the sides feels like the Humvee of headphones. Part of the reason for the size is the over-ear cups, which I always prefer to on-ear, as they're more comfortable for extended wear. These fit my ears fine, but if yours are larger, the pads may chafe slightly at your ear tips. They are supplied as open back phones, but surprisingly can be converted to closed back, by fitting an optional extra sealed cover. Opinions vary as to which is better, sonically, but closed back are quieter for everyone around you, and a requirement for most tournaments. The mixamp is the real game-changer for me. Instead of the usual annoying fiddle with sub menus or drop down tabs or whetever, I can simply turn a dial, both for volume, and for voice/game sound balance. It simplifies your life tremendously, and adds quite a bit to game enjoyment I find.I've tried these both on PC and MAC, and had no problems. I would point out that when setting up it's important to set your default mic and sound output to these headphones, otherwise you might not hear anything when you plug them in.On their own I'd be awarding the headphones four stars, because of the lack of Bluetooth. But in this kit form with the addition of the excellent mixamp I think they're a definite 5. I can live with the cable, but I would not want to lose the analogue dial control for the sound. It's a great feature.

I am not tech-savvy in the gaming area but I have two grandsons who are and have a large range of gaming equipment so I passed this over to them and asked them to write their opinions. This is what my 15-year-old grandson said about these headphones"The A40’s sound quality is crystal clear with a huge depth range and very high definition. All sounds can be heard clearly, and the pan of the headphones is perfect. The earphone cups fit nicely around your ears making the sound precise and making them comfortable to wear. The headset also fits nicely around glasses stopping headaches which are seen to be a problem in many other headsets. The microphone quality is incredibly clear and accurate for a headset mic with zero feedback or extra noise. The mic itself does not obscure view of the screen and it far away from your mouth to be heard by teammates and friends properly and even if it isn’t, there are many settings to have the mic in as it is adjustable. I have had responses from friends saying I sound just like I do in real life and I sound much better than when I used my previous mic.The mix amp Pro opens so many opportunities and variations as to how and what you hear. For example, there is not just a master volume, there is an option to turn down the in-game volume to only hear teammates and friends and there is an opposing option to turn down friends and teammates just to hear the game. There is also a huge range as to how loudly and quietly you can hear both. Another aspect I was impressed with would be the setting that allows you to change the compression and equalization of what you hear meaning that all the sound is compressed and even to not cause headaches. The headsets price is well worth it for the quality you will receive. It is a lot more expensive than a lot of my previous headsets but this one is by far the best I have had.Overall, the Astro A40 and Mix amp pro is an incredible piece of audio and microphone equipment as it is worth the price, easy to use, comfy and great audio and mic quality."

In every regard, these are absolute beasts of a headset. Everything about them exudes quality, from the fit and finish to the packaging, to the heft in your hand. There are plenty of reviews here raving about the sound quality, but little about how it all goes together, so I'll talk about that. You get two items. The headset itself, and a mixer. The headset has a normal 1/8" audio plug, so you can use them as 'ordinary' headphones for music through your phone, or for use with and Xbox or a Switch. Of course, you don't get the full surround-sound experience if you do that, but the sound quality is still exceptionally good. The mixer though, is where the magic happens. You connect this directly to your PC or you PS4 via USB or optical connection, and then plug the headphones into the mixer. The only downside here is the leads all over the place, and the setup is better suited to PC gaming while sitting at a desk. If you are a sofa gamer, you're going to have to put with leads across the floor. Once you get set up though - wow. The surround sound is fully immersive, and you'll find yourself wandering around youtube looking for demo videos to try it out. The frequency response is astonishing, from the deepest bass to the faintest trebles. Even in a intense firefight game with explosions and booms and bangs you can still hear the tinkle of cartridge cases falling to the floor with clarity. It's really that good.Comfort is great, although these are quite heavy headphones, so you might need to fine tune the adjustments on the headband to get it just right. The earcups are soft and cosy, and are tremendously good at isolating sound. You'll have minimal sound leakage to the rest of the house, and you won't get outside noises distracting you. These are expensive headphones, but they really are good enough to justify the price. Exceptional. If you found this review helpful, I'd love it if you let me know by clicking below.

When Astro first released this new gaming headset to their range in early 2019 it was a most welcome addition. If you are a serious gamer then for the price you get possibly the best and much more from ASTRO. The A40 TR Gen 4 is customisable to your own liking so check online to see all the options regarding the MOD-Kits and other additions. The headset seems a much wider fit but really its a much better fit by design once adjusted for ear placement. Very comfortable for long gaming sessions and built to withstand possibly even a real war. This headset is a Real Game Changer (Pun Intended) the extended frequency audio spectrum produces detailed in-game music and sounds for an immersive audio experience like no other. However, to really outsmart your online battalions of Waring adversaries why not take it to the next level and add the MixAmp Pro TR. This will enable you to control/manage the mix of audio so that you can effectively communicate and interact with your fellow team players whilst still maintaining situation all-around awareness. The downloadable ASTRO Command Center Software will enable you to Customise every input/output and parameter of this addition. This includes personalised sound profiles, multiple microphones and stream settings. Don't let this deter you as the A40 TR on its own is a formidable piece of kit which you can build upon. The A40 TR has a Swappable Boom Microphone a unidirectional sensitive mic which focuses on your voice and thus minimizes background noise. This mic can also be positioned on either side of the A40 TR headset. If you are a Professional Gamer or just want to act cool and up your street credibility look no further the A40 TR was made for you designed by ASTRO with you in mind. I highly recommend the A40 TR headset but please remember these are specifically designed for Gamming, not for the likes of Music Audiofiles.

Headphones are such an upclose and personal thing. You wear them like clothing so they must be comfortable to wear for long periods of time. Then, you listen to what they produce really closely, so if the sound is no good, there's no getting away from it. They also have to be convenient to use and to be easily controllable. They also need to be tough cos at some stage you are going to drop them or sit on them. When you think about it those are a very exacting and unique set of product requirements. Little wonder then that most headphones disappoint in one or more ways and unless you are going to spend a lot of money on headphones it very often comes down to choosing your disappointment. But not these. These are the most comfortable headphones I have ever used.By no means lightweight, they nevertheless manage to allow you to forget you are wearing them. Very adjustable and nicely done.Being for gaming they have a mic of course, and you can attach that either side by following the clear provided instructions. The quality of the sound from the microphone is - I would say - studio mic quality and nicely directional with superb pickup of the wearer and not much pickup of background noise. But the crowning glory is the sound reproduction which is just superb, managing to do bright sparkling treble at the same time as deep rich undistorted bass. I have intentionally been through classical, jazz, pop, rock, folk and electronic music items - even a sound effects album - looking for something that these do not reproduce well, full marks on them all. I cant ever remember having had headphones that could do that.!So these are state of the art my friends and I will hope to be using them for many years to come and of headphones ever do come any better then these I will be very surprised.

This meaty setup contains headphones and a mixer. The mixer is the thing that sets this apart from normal headphones, you connect it to your PS4, PC or XBOX via USB, optical connection or both and then plug the headphones into the mixer. Both the PS4 and Xbox One require two connections for the setup to work. For audio to the headset you need to connect your console's optical audio output to the optical port on the mixer with the included optical cable. Then connect the mixer to a USB port on your console with the included cable to enable the microphone to work. The left dial on the mixer controls volume and the right controls voice chat and game audio. The headphones are quite heavy but you can adjust them to get a good fit.The ear pads are memory foam, covered in a soft cloth and very comfortable. You don’t need to connect them to the mixer box as they have a standard jack but it seems a shame to use them any other way. There’s a fair amount of sound leakage, which may be an issue when using them around other people. The microphone is removable and can be freely adjusted.Sound quality is exceptional, especially when playing action games, you can hear every click, hiss, bump, crash or rumble clearly and with just the right mix of bass and treble.I prefer a wireless connection as cabling can be a bit of a pain but the leads are a good length and I can put up with that due to the impressive sound quality. This isn’t a cheap option but for dedicated gamers it opens up a world of sounds that you won’t have heard before and you will really notice the difference in quality over cheap and cheerful alternatives.Definitely worth the money in my opinion.

The headset is very comfortable, It's highly customisable and adjustable. The futuristic design definitely makes the item feel stylish and modern. You can lower and raise the ear pads so it will fit a range of users with ease, The mic is removable and can be placed on either side by removing the panels. The headset is extremely customisable, with both side panels being removable and changeable, as well as the headband at the top. You can then buy different designed parts to create your own design. The earmuffs are soft and comfortable, they are magnetic for a simple job of removing them quickly. The headset is quite wide rather than tall but has a smooth size adjustable to fit most sizes. The earphones are also adjustable being able to rotate 90 degrees, this means its a lot more comfortable if you want to listen to music or TV without wearing the headset. To connect the headset to the device the plug is located on the bottom left, this is standard but seems like a step backward since the entire headset is so customisable/adjustable.You can easily wear glasses with this headset without any pinching or pressure points. The microphone is also very good, A lot better than your standard headset mic, I advise you to change and mess with the settings to adjust the level of background noises it removes. For added convenience, the headset includes a Mute button on the cable.Overall, I very solid headset, it's very natural sounding with great audio. But most of all extremely customisable and adjustable.
