This is an excellent piece of kit, very well made and functions faultlessly. I use it so I can play vinyl through my PC. However, if you have a mini hi fi or similar that only has an aux outlet which won't handle output from a record deck at reasonable volumn levels, using this unit will resolve your problem. The inclusion of a light to show you the unit is on acts as a useful reminder to switch it off when not in use.

Very basic phono stage which is never going to blow anyones socks off. It's value for money cannot be ignored though, it does what it says on the tin and it does it in an honest and unasuming way. As a starting point into a basic vinyl set up it is absolutely fine, it comes across as quite lightweight but it keeps detail and remains neutral. No surprise these sell in such large numbers. Excellent value for money.

I needed a pre amp so that I could place my turntable at a greater distance from my amplifier than the phono level cable would allow. This does the job just fine, converting the phono signal to a line level with no perceptible loss of quality or noise, and an added bonus of two outputs. It seems to be built robustly and the discrete size means I can tuck it behind the turntable out of sight.

I have bought two of these on two separate occasions. They provide a neat way of connecting (turntable) magnetic cartridges to amplifiers which don't have a PHONO input.I previously bought a cheaper device, and was disappointed by the amount of mains hum, caused by an inferior power supply.These pre-amps have low background noise, and I can strongly recommend them.

Looked at cheaper pnono to line converters, but the reviews really rated this Behringer PP400 so took a gamble. So pleased I did, worked straight out the box, no need for grounding, its compact and unobtrusive, definitely recommend.

Plain and simple and great. Will save you many money not buying a fancyfancy Preamp' with duppiditts you do not need if you are just looking for good signal from your turntable.

This is a cheap phono preamp. The sound quality is surprisingly good for the price. It includes an earth point which is useful for making sure that you don't get an earth hum.

I bought it to digitize some LP records. I use a magnetic pickup so so needed a preamp with RIAA correction which this little unit does extremely well

Small and it works. I don't know if it would be up to the exacting requirements of an audiophile, but as far as I was concerned it was great.

Brought this so I could move my deck around 3 meters from my amp so needed a pre amp and this plugged in and works a treat great product.

Just the job to convert phono connections from a turntable to an aux input. Works great and small enough to not matter.

Perfect, my Yamaha amp had no phono input only Aux, does the job great. Cheap and does the job perfectly

This works well with my recently acquired old pioneer turntable through the aux on old Aiwa Hifi.
