The iPhone 5s is amazing for it's price, it may be the oldest iPhone still in support but it runs smoothly and fast in iOS12! The 8MP camera is great quality and the design is comfortable too, great for those who like small phones. However the SE still beats it but if you don't want to spend a loads of money then the 5S is for you. The Touch ID makes things so much easier and all the technology packed inside is very modern especially for it's age.16GB is perfect storage for those who take the odd few photos & couple of videos, and have a few apps, it's battery life is very strong especially in iOS 12, it can run for a whole day for average usage and can even be 2-3 days if you use it occasionally which is pretty good for it's size.The speakers are loud and good quality,

The phone that i got has moderate scratches and scuffs mainly on the edges, few very light ones on the back. I use cases to hide it. The screen is also scratched lightly, but can't be seen when using screen protector. I was very dissopointed because of that, because it wasn't promised. Anyway phone works well, no problems at all. The battery life isn't good, but what to expect - it has only 1560mAh. I use 4G 24/7 and it lasts about one day. I charge it every night. Fingerprint scanner is amazing, one of the best features of this Iphone. Also must love the camera - does better pictures than my last phone Nexus 5. I must say that the phone doesn't lag and works smootly. The price is right for this product.

For years I had a Blackberry and dreamed if an iPhone, always just that little bit beyond my finances. After a brief disappointing time with cheap Android phones, I decided to see if I could afford to purchase a reconditioned iPhone. I was originally looking at an iPhone 4S but after some research regarding battery replacement, etc. I opted for the 5S and discovered mine on eBay at a really good price and with a 12 month warranty from a high feedback eBayer. I have only had it a short while but so far the battery has been good and I experienced no problems setting up the phone. The real beauty is that, having an iPad 4, getting to grips with the capabilities of this handset was really easy.

After a slight misunderstanding regarding delivery time the problem was resolved speedily and delivered first class.Pleased to report that the condition of this phone was far better than expected at the price. I don't find the omission of the finger print security a problem,at all, as you can still set up your own unlock password. Not the responsibilityof the seller...but I do find that the key pad is not as light as my previous 4s. I have upgraded to the latest Apple10.2.1 system so guess I am now up there with the 7's costing six times as much. This model also has a superior Sony ( I think ) camera so all in all a very satisfied customer. Not sure about battery life as I am a low user.

Having "upgraded" to newer different brands it's nice to come back to a quality phone that does the job with good battery life and NO issues with anything. Never needed to restart phone to get it working and the build quality can't be faulted. If I had any niggling issues with phone it would be that sometimes quality of night shots can be poor due to lack of flash power. Bought a decent camera now so better than any phone for quality of photo anyway. Happy days?

It's a good phone that fits in my hand (amazing!) and is a nice size. The battery life is generally great but it did drain from full battery to 4% this morning - the first time that this has happened. The colour is good and the finish is satisfactory. It was good value at £65 and was worth more than that in my opinion.

I paid £150 for the iphone 5s (Refurbished). It is pretty good value and has worked with no problems at all. I have had the phone for 3 weeks, battery life is fine. It came in an apple box with charger and ear phones. Hardly distinguishable from a brand new phone. All in all I am very pleased with it.

Yes, iPhones are nice to use, and take good pictures, but they are SO unreliable and temperamental. I've lost count of the number of lightning cables, faulty screens, etc., and in the case of this phone the battery only lasted about 6 months then it was a shop-job to replace that.

Bought as a replacement for my dead iPhone 4. Looks like a new phone. Battery life is a bit disappointing as my iPhone 4 lasted around 3-4 days, this only lasts for approximately two days under the same circumstances. Still, overal I am very happy with this purchase.

The first iPhone had a faulty screen which the supplier replaced with obviously another 2nd hand part, but it works well. The battery life is OK, but will need replacing at some time, I've learned to live on half power.
