Let's be real here, if you're buying a flagship smartphone you are either picking an iPhone, the OnePlus 7 Pro or the Samsung Galaxy S10/S10+. Being someone who is very enthusiastic about tech and smartphones, I'm going to go ahead and say this is the BEST smartphone I have EVER used. Design is the best, software is better than stock Android.Pros:- Brightest, sharpest and most beautiful display in any phone (Although 60 Hz)- Design second to none- In-display fingerprint reader which works even during rain- Excellent cameras- High-end specs, plenty of fast storage, processing power and RAM. Does not overheat.- Ridiculously good battery life (I get an average of 20 hrs on a full charge - measuredusing AcuBattery)- Hole-punch at the top leads to some excellent wallpapers (see Reddit -> /r/S10wallpapers)- Always-on-display is excellent for notifications and can be heavily customised- Galaxy Buds work flawlessly with this and are the best in-ear earphones I have EVER used by FAR (I own airpods too)- Never EVER EVER lags or crashes (Although I manage it well but no custom ROM required)- Fast wireless charging is actually fast (About 2 hours from 0->100%)- Excellent brand (yes, this is a pro for some people such as business professionals)- Lots of features which may initially appear gimmicky but are actually useful:E.g. I thought reverse wireless charging was POINTLESS and SLOW until I was at a hotel with only one charger and wanted to charge my phone and my earbuds (Galaxy Buds) overnight. I plugged the wire into my phone and wirelessly charged the Galaxy Buds using my phone. This is just one example.Cons:- Fingerprint reader not as fast as OnePlus 7 Pro's optical fingerprint reader, nor as accurate as a capacitive sensor- Stock Samsung One UI icons and design does not complement the phone at all- Lack of 90 Hz display- Naviagation gestures aren't intuitive and are significantly inferior than iOS' gestures- There are a lot of must-have applications, without which your phone doesn't reach its true potential- If you are a power user you will have to tweak it a lot till you can truly get a sense of its greatnessA few notes about my personal setup:- Nova Launcher prime using LineBit icon pack and a black wallpaper with an RGB ring following the edges and cameraThis gives it an "RGB" look, work really well together and saves a lot of batteryNo text on home screen- Remap Bixby Button using bxActions:Single press = Do not disturb toggleDouble press = Samsung Pay (works like a charm)Press and hold = Google Assistant- Google Assistant used instead of Bixby wherever possible (including Google Feed when you swipe to the right on the home screen)- Google Messages instead of Samsung's default Messages app since it has support for web-application- Samsung Calendar (great dark theme)- All email accounts setup using default Samung mail client (Office365, Outlook, Work, Gmail)- SimpleNote for notes- Samsung Internet (BEST dark browser ever)- Samsung Music for the most bit & Spotify (though VLC for video)- Telegram used with AMOLED theme which saves a LOT of battery and looks stunning- Slide for Reddit (AMOLED theme and no adverts)- YMusic (need to download apk) - essentially YouTube Prime or whatever it's called with AMOLED theme available- Overdrop Pro used for weather app (also has AMOLED theme with most beautiful interface I've ever seen)- Simple Gallery: Photo Manager & Editor - best Gallery app. No bs, no slow loading, no ads, highly customisable- CityMapper for navigating around public transport in London with BusDue as my goto Bus Application (no adverts, simple and clean interface)- Samsung My Files as my file manager- Reselio Sync to wirelessly synchronise all my music from my PC to my phoneThere's a lot more I can get into about particular settings but I believe this is a good place to start and once you spend enough time with the phone you will be able to appreciate that it really only has 3 downsides, which are:- Lakc of 90 Hz AMOLED display (albeit only one other phone has it, OnePlus 7 Pro)- "Good" in-display fingerprint reader (albeit only one other phone has a really good one, OnePlus 7 Pro)- Navigation gestures aren't worth it (would require you to switch to iOS or BlackBerry 10 haha)Moreover, if you want to pick a phone in 2019 you need to judge it by the least number of cons and I think this phone wins using that criteria by a MILE.Best design, great battery, amazing camera, never lags. Never Sett - oops, wrong phone. Jk, I say it's worth it and the Galaxy Buds are too. I usually hate Samsung products but I have to hand it to them this time, they got pretty damn close to achieving G.(Phone)O.A.T.Verdict: 9/10.

I've had phone S10 since launch on March 8th and it has the best display on Smartphone market, due to no one beating Samsung on their AMOLED display panel given it best quality for terms of its resolution on phone. So if you want phone for media consumption in highest quality then S10 lineup wiill be for you be it the S10e S10 or S10+ for watching Netflix , YouTube etc you won't have any complaints. In addition the S10 comes with the finger print scanner under the display so does the S10 + however the S10e does not because it has fringer print sensor on side of the phone. This can be a bit miss process & I get in 98% of the time but it better security feature due to the technology being used.I think I don't get in 2% of time due to mainly me (user error) on where I have positioned my thumb when unlocking the device , I think this can be fixed by software update being more clear on how to unlock the phone and where to position the thumb or finger when using this method to unlock the device. However this is still an android device with one UI software and can use less secure method with face unlock or more traditional method of using the passcode to unlock the phone so there is always options to unlock device that suits the user rather than device dedicating the unlock method for the user. In other words you have options to unlock the S10 however best suits you and how you use your device. Now onto the battery its very good and I get through whole day without the phone dying with LTE and Bluetooth on (it woukd last much longer if these where switch off) but if battery is the main reason for buying these phones buy the S10+ over the S10 and S10e due to bigger battery on it. Also remember all models of S10 lineup come with an fast charger included in box so your never waiting for device to recharge for really long period of times before it gets back to 100% charge. Finally this device comes with wireless power sharing for accessories like Galaxy Watch , Samsung buds this features new and works well for these accessories and won't kill phone battery due to this being turn off once phone hits 40% battery life. Don't charge other phones with this feature due to Watts it gives out charging the device and will be very slow charging another mobile device. So to sum up the above the S10 lineup is best phone for display , battery life and performance currently on market so far but with small variants between them for example S10e is budget smaller display phone with less compromise's to features apart from finger print senor being under display and display being smaller , The S10 all rounder and S10+ i for users that want most out of the phone with better battery and bigger display. I went for S10 due to all round performance and prefer the size of this phone over S10+

Pros: 1. The infinity-o display is amazing interms of colours and resolution.2. 8GB of RAM perform very well and hopefully will be useful later in the future.3. The daytime picture and video quality is good in terms of colour and I love the wide angle lens.4. Wireless power share is a nice gimmick that gets heads turning.5. I like the accessories like the fast charger and AKG earphones.6. Sound stage on speakers is good.7. One UI brings some nice features such as easier reachability, lift to wake and dark mode8. I love all the old stuff such as edge panels, multi tasking, pop up view, being able to change animation speed,9.Overall the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor works well with some errors but overall its very impressive.10.I like the ability to be able to remap the bixby button. This has been very useful.11. The ability to take a scrolling screenshot is brilliant.Cons: 1. Display doesn't get that bright unless HDR content is being played (only around 400 nits). Having the ability to raise manual brightness higher would be much appreciated.2. Battery life is weak. I only get around 5 hours of screen on time. I would be more happy with around 8 hours of screen on time to get me through the day. Also stand by time is terrible.3. The vibration motor feels less premium compared to other phones. Multiple, high quality motors would be a massive improvement 4. The gesture system isn't very intuitive. 5. A 15W charger isn't very efficacious when it comes to charging the phone when desperately needed (this is annoying to have when some phones are being shipped with 40W chargers).6. The phone doesn't feel very responsive or smooth. This could be sorted out by making a 90hz panel or having 144hz touch input.7. The headphone jack doesnt sound like anything special. A quad dac would help improve the audio quality.8. Detail and contrast isn't very strong on the front and rear camera (especially the front camera).9. Low light performance is not good. The bright sight feature doesn't help much either. The dual aperature seems to be very aggressive with noise reduction resulting in soft pictures which also lack colour.10. The aluminium frame doesn't feel very premium.11. The emoji shading could be improved.12. Speakers could be louder and crispier.13. App quality is still not the greatest e.g. camera doesn't look as good as it should do in snapchat, Instagram is missing certain features such as the back swipe, Fortnite can't run 60 fps on epic settings and the app always crashes when I load into a game.14. The chin at the bottom is annoying. There are more cons than pros but overall I think that the phone is brilliant but still not perfect.

The phone itself looks absolutely beautiful. I wish all colours where available on all iterations. That would be better. I much prefer the round camera cutout as it seems more elegant and is definitely a big win over the notch. (Former apple custromer here). I love the camera especially the wide angle lens. I do feel there is nearly too many settings and it makes the experience a litttle frustrating. Probably could be better with a better ui. But i love the features that are available especially super wide. The flash is pretty poor also.Having all that ram seems to be awesome but i still had a number of freezes. Something i never had on iOS. I don’t know if this is hardware or software.I love the endless customisation on android. What I don’t like is the double up on nearly all my apps. Like chrome and samsung explore. Mail and gmail. Calendar etc. It’s. pain . Also samsung pay is basically non existent as no banks here support it, or very few, I’m using google pay but unfortunately google pay doesn’t work on the galaxy watch I bought with my phone. Also the nfc is positioned strangely. With my iPhone I could touch any part of my phone to the card terminal but with s10 I have to be percise in placement which can be difficult. Also I am limited to 30 pounds where Apple Pay is unlimited.I enjoy very much Touch ID especially built in.i had an s8 a few years back and hated the scanner on the back. It’s quick and easy to use. The display itself is stunning quality and I love it.I love the micro sod storage option and the fast and wireless charging. Is it possible for SMSing to make a perm want switch to risen or SMSing centric software to avoid all the doubling up and crossover without losing cor features supplied on android. That would be awesome. Bixby is kind of awful still I like the ui but the voice recognition is bad. Comparable to assistant or Siri or Alexa. Also again the cross over of assistant and Bixby is super annoying. Same can be said of samsung pass and google auto fill. One that does all and is avail on all apps would be awesome as in iclouds keychain. I must say I love this phone in spite of the things I have, owned about here l it looks great has good battery amazing screen quality and much improve ui. I have changed from apple to samsung handsets before and it’s always been short lived but this time I think it’s permanent. Especially if the above got sorted.

I preordered a Samsung galaxy S10 plus from samsung. Thanks to samsung, the phone was delivered on time. I have been using the phone for about a week now. I must say this phone is an absolute beast! I traded in my Samung galaxy S8 for this phone. My S8 was as snappy as it was when I bought it 2 years back. But the difference is unbelievable. S10 beats S8 in each and every department. There is just no comparision. The S10 has everything you can ask for in a phone. It has great performance, amazing battery life, superb camera and some really cool features like the ultrasonic finger print sensor and wireless powershare. The ultrasonic fingerprint sensor is better than my S8's capacitive sensor. Its much faster and more accurate. I also tried chafging my S8 using wireless powershare. It works great. Now coming to cameras. The back three camera are well thought of and work great. Coming from an S8 that has 1 camera, I am loving the 3 cameras. They are really useful. Especially the wide angle camera. Its not as good as the main one but its extremely handy when you need to capture more stuff in a photo. Battery life is just too good. I easily get through the day. I am a moderate user of the phone and I am left with 30 percent at night. The audio on the phone is too good. I dont know how its so loud. Even covering the bottom speakers does not block the sound much. The sound on the 3.5mm jack has also improved. I love my S8s display. Credits to samsung that they have improved that as well. This display is THE BEST and no more words are required to describe it. The FHD+ resolution looks better on this phone than the QHD resolution on my S8. I personally like the hole punch design. It does not come in the way at all. That takes some engineering to get that cut out on an OLED panel. Lastly, the software. One UI is the icing on the cake. Samsung has finally improved its software. One UI complements this phones hardware brilliantly. Its well thought of and makes it easier to use this big phone. Only thing that I think could have been better is the price. But when compared to other expensive flagship phones, this phone is absolute value for money. Kudos to Samsung to creating this great phone! Now thats what a flagship phone should be like!! I hope it ages well like the S8.Thank you

I got the S10 a month ago, to basically replace my old Panasonic FZ5 camera which is 15 years old. I wanted a good camera, but not wanting the large bulk of cameras like my old Panasonic. The S10 had some great reviews for it's camera, so looked to be the ideal pocket sized replacement. The purchase has so far proved to be the best phone/camera I've ever had, and didn't disappoint. My main use when out and about is using a mapping app and OS maps to find my way when going on hill walking trips. I also now use the health app to measure my steps along the way. While doing this I love to take many photos from along my walk, and the S10 takes superb photos, making it way better than the old camera. The quality, colour and sharpness of the S10 camera, beats the old one no problem. Wide angle and panorama modes are brilliant for my needs. There's only one thing that the old camera can beat the S10 on, as it has a 12 X optical zoom. The S10 only has a 2 X, which then becomes digital zoom up to 10 X. So zooming in beyond 5 X I can see the picture becoming pixelated, whereas the old camera is still sharp. But this is only a small issue that I can live with, I knew this would be the case when purchasing the phone, and that a fully functional optical zoom on a slim smart phone doesn't exist. Maybe Samsung could consider adding another camera to the rear of the phone with an optical zoom of say 5 X on future models? While doing all this on my walks, sometimes up to 20 miles taking 10 hours or more, the battery lasts pretty well. There's a great app to show battery usage and what apps are draining the battery the most. Initially I found battery use quite poor, as the camera was taking a lot of power. I found it was because it was constantly on in the background, due to the fact I never closed the app when taking pictures. I now always close the camera app when finished, and the drain on the battery is well improved.A brilliant purchase, extremely pleased with it.

I received my new S10 on the release date and have been very pleased with it. The external design is very pleasing, I purchased the white version and love the shimmer look to the white back. I much prefer the feel of this in my hand compared to the S7, I am very sensory and this sits well and feels pleasant, other phones can feel a bit jagged or uncomfortable. I like the position on the buttons and phone/earphone ports, easy access to sim and miscro sd card slot. I love the screen and how it is the full size of the phone, I have no issue with the camera lens showing on the front, it does not detract from the screen. The fingerprint scanner is ok, I love the idea of it,but sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't, but it's easy enough to input my passcode when its not working so well (my hands can be quite dry and I wonder if the affects the scanner...). I very much loved how easy it was to transfer everything from my old phone to my new one, although a few notifications sounds had changed and I had to find them again. One of the things I love most about Samsung is the AOD function which I was very happy to see still on the S10, I was however very disappointed to lose the notification light, I hadn't realised how much I had relied on that for quickly checking notifications without having to go over to or pick up my phone -- I hope this can be resolved with a future update. Screen graphics are lovely, very crisp, bright and modern, battery life has been great so far. I came around to using night mode, thinking I wouldn't like the change of colours, but I really love it now, not just for saving battery life but I find it much more pleasant to look at rather than the bright white. Overall extremely happy with this phone and the whole process of ordering direct from Samsung rather than going through my mobile provider.

I initially had concerns about buying an imported phone, wondering if it would work the same as one I bought in the UK etc. In short, yes it does definitely consider this.At the time of my purchase this phone was retailing at £799 and I bought it here for £572, opting for green because it was cheaper and would be hidden by a case anyway. It was given a estimated delivery of 1 - 2 weeks, however it was with me in 5 days from America! The tracking says the phone was posted in New York and on arrival it is clearly a genuine S10, sealed in its original box. It came with an additional UK plug outside the box as the one in the box is a USA charger.Of note your old Samsung chargers will work perfectly with this, just buy some "USB C" cables online to plug into your existing plugs as that is the type of wire to fit this phone. Also worth noting is it comes with a factory fitted screen cover, soft plastic TPU case and the one I got came with a free 128GB Micro SD card.I presume it came from Latin America originally as on booting up the phone and inserting the SIM it asked me to confirm my provider in Spanish. Don't worry though, this is the only Spanish you will see and it's really easy to see your SIM provider, eg Three in my case.Once you've clicked that, it automatically detects your language and switches to English forever more. Also worth noting, after some concerns I read online, is it contains a Exynos processor which is the same as UK phones. (The USA and China have Snapdragon processors which are supposed to be ever so sightly faster) Samsung Pay also works perfectly.I hope this helps you save some cash and get a decent phone. I would also recommend spending a bit more on a decent case to protect your phone, like a Spigen case.

This is my 3rd samsung phone, I started with the s6 which was a good phone, so upgraded to the s9 and yeah it was better but not enough to make a big impact. I'd decided on my next upgrade I woudlnt bothering paying the premium for the s10 and was going to get a huawei p30, my fiance had it and it was on par with the s9 but cheaper. I had the opportunity to upgrade early and my provider had a deal with £300 off the s10 handset, so I thought why not. I'm glad I did, I'm not tech savvy, just a normal phone user and I can see the massive improvement and enhancements. The quality of the screen in amazing, so clear and crisp, it's faster at doing what ever you want it too, whether its opening the camera to take that important photo that you would have missed on previous handsets, or running numerous apps at once. The camera is a definite improvement on the previous models, its fast to open as I said. I take alot of photos of my children who rarely sit still long enough to take a decent photo! But with the s10 it captures so many more shots that arent blurry! It's made it easy to switch between the 3 different cameras. The sound is very crisp and clear, I was shocked when I first used my music apps on the s10 just how clear it was. I love being able to customise so many aspects of the device, including that Bixby button, I didnt use it on the s9, I doubt I'll use it on the s10, but now it doesnt have to be an idle button, you can change the function, whoop (see google if you cant find the settings to do so). I'm really impressed with it, I would have happily paid the full price on my upgrade if I'd known how much better it is, I'm looking forward the the next samsung devices.

A good month now and plenty of power use. A button to always be able select HDR on or off in the camera app as I want would be great. Mostly the phone gets this right in auto infairness, but the control should be my choice and easily so. The Gallery App simply does not sync with the well known free Photos app. Samsung and the other people are working to resolve. It's a faff I should not be involved with.No 24 or or 25FPS selection in video pro mode is something I want to see rectifies in smartphones going forward. The onboard video editor is a basic offering and could be so much more.Overall a very good camera experience given where current tech is at. The screen is fantastic and maybe best in class as is the sound.I really enjoy both and they make the "step up" from the super GS8 a noticeble fifference, not that I ever had any complaints. At these prices the lack of especially major updates are a concern. The front facing camera is fine for selfies and some video but it's not challenging dedicated vlogging options - an are area towork on. I would also like to see support for external mics.Spread sheets / Emailing / office doc stuff generally is a breeeze. I use third party 10 a penny touch pens and they are fine for me when I am need to do something detailed. Nothing essential about any of that but the set up makes me feel I don't ever need to look at S pen versions.Overall a fine effort but perhaps pushing ahead with new headline grabbing features faster than the software experience can keep up at the cutting edges.

The s10 is a really nice phone and last year with 512gb and a wide angle lens would have made it something special. This year however it just seems Samsung has been playing catch up with the Mate 20 pro. How can you say you innovate when reverse wireless charging, in display fingerprint and wide angle lens were the mate 20 pros features from Oct 2018?Sure, the 512gb of the s10 was a great improvement over the pitiful 64gb of the s9 but...That’s about it. 2 weeks later Huawei came along, dropped the p30 pro bomb and made the s10 look decidedly average. Since the s7 all Samsung has done with the rear camera is make it “a little bit better in low light” with the s10 we get the “groundbreaking” 2x optical zoom from the s9 plus/note 9P30 pro comes along with 512gb,completely new camera with 5, 10x zoom and a usable 50x zoom with near pitch black photos. I had the s10 and in tests with my note 9 and XS you could hardly tell the difference in low light. The p30 riddles along and embarrasses the lot. Of course, there’s more to a phone than the camera BUT when all flagships are pretty much clones of each other these days you need something to STAND OUT and just like the LGG8, the s10 offers little. Sure, Samsung is a solid quality phone but for a 10 year anniversary model it really is “just a bit better than last year” From a company that used to lead and innovate I’m afraid your turning into apple...

So happy to upgrade my phone to this phone. The edge-to-edge curved display is so satisfying to look at and feels amazing. The amoled display provides great saturation and the colours seem to be perfect. Always on display is also such an underrated feature which I find useful especially when busy on my computer and can just look over to see the time and my notifications, preventing me from picking up the phone and getting distracted.I could honestly say so many good things about this phone but things that I am not completely satisfied with are:Power button is quite high up the screen and would make sense to bring it down a little bit to make holding the phone slightly easier. The phone didn't come with even a silicon case so when buying this phone, make sure you find a case you would like and purchase it so they will be received together, as you don't want to be damaging such an expensive phone just after a few uses, or at all for that matter. And lastly, the inscreen finger-print scanner does seem to be a little inconsistent, so make sure to make multiple finger prints and you should find this happening less. Also if you were one of the people, like myself, to preorder, it came with galaxy buds which I highly recommend you redeeming, however they are expected to deliver within 30 days, which I find is kind of sloppy coming from a brand such as Samsung.

I have had the s10 for about a month now and I have never had a phone as smart and fast as this. it well exceeded my expectations for the device, and is still shocking me with the features it has and the things it can do as I'm still learning the things it can do and I am more than happy with it. The camera on the s10 is outstanding and I love the alert when the camera lense is dirty so I can make sure I'm getting the best out of my camera and take incredible photos. The speaker on the phone is the best I've come across from a phone yet. I also like the fact s10 has the health app on it as its helped me tremendously with keeping track of my walking sleeping and stress level and its smart features can calculate how much sleep I get a night which is impressive as it is accurate.Another plus on the s10 is how quick and fast it is for gaming as all of my game I launch play very well. Also videos on YouTube or even taking video has an extremely crisp detail video and is a very enjoyable experience. The only con I have found so far with the s10 is it does not come with a screen protector when it's such a high quality expensive phone and I'm always scared of breaking/scratching my screen. But overall the s10 is a 10/10 in my book. Would highly recommend the s10 and have done to a few friends, who also now own one

So I ordered this Samsung Galaxy S10 (Model SM-G973F/DS) on the 15th July 2019 with a delivery date of 19 -23 July 2019 but despite that I got it two days earlier which I'm so impressed with that I wanted to start my review straight away. The phone came in a sealed box and although the charging plug in the sealed box is a European 2 pin plug a UK three pin plug was included separately in the same package so that's great. The phone has a 43% charge at the moment so I'm in the provcess of charging it now and will update this review once I have more information and can honestly review the Battery Life, Fingerprint reader and Face Recognition. So here we are 24th July and phone used 24/7 i.e.bedside alarm clock and and on charge overnight. I use my phone to record everything really including work calendar, work and personal WhatsApp Messaging, online banking, news reading and with my volume of use I think the battery could last 2 days...... almost, without charge.Fingerprint reader is excellent successfully reading on first scan most of the time.I can't comment on the facial recognition because I believe that that type of security is not that secure so will not be using it.Really like it so far and buying saved me nearly £300 when compared to what I regard as mostly overpriced contract options.

I bought this phone as soon as it came out and it's lived up to the expectation! The battery is great, only need to charge it once a day and I'm usually on my phone 24/7. It looks beautiful and the design is really great, the camera in the top right is a really great idea as the screen is a lot more satisfying than the S8. I love the fingerprint sensor - it's really effective and it's useful having this on the front of the phone this time, it seems a lot more accurate, as it only takes me one attempt to log into my phone. I also love that you can use either facial recognition, the fingerprint scanner or your passcode to unlock the phone and that you don't have to choose one to use at any time. It's a really quick phone and I've really enjoyed using it. The camera is amazing and people always comment on the quality of my photos! The 3 levels of aperture make such a big difference depending on the type of photos you're taking, and it's the best phone I've found for close up photos. As someone who drops their phone quite regularly, this phone seems to be really life-proof, as it's been dropped in water, in a lasagne, and fallen to the floor from a reasonably high surface and there's not a scratch on it! Overall it's a great phone and I'd highly recommend to anyone looking to upgrade/change.
