I'd been put off upgrading from my iPhone 6 because of the cost, and also the size of this phone. The cost became less of an issue when I bought this on Prime Day, so the price tumbled £100. I then sold my iPhone 6 (64gb) for £110 through a well-known auction site. (I paid £700, so total cost was £590). If it lasts me 4 years like the iPhone 6, that's an average of £150, AND I'll have a trade-in value at the end.As for the size, it is a lot bigger in your hand but not notably so in my [men's] jeans pocket. However ... the weight is quite different, and I do notice that, but not to the point it would put me off making the same choice again.Battery life is exceptional.

We all know apple products are overpriced and are often a little behind when compared with the competitor products, but I keep coming back to apple because it just works.iOS is dated in my view, but it does everything I need and it does it well and fast. The battery life is much better than on my IPhone 6 Plus. I play a lot of games on my phone and it still often lasts the day. My average screen time is around 7h.I wanted went for the XR because it has most of the nice features such as facial recognition (which works very well), a good camera and the same chip as the more expensive version. The battery life on this is supposed to be better than the other models but I only own the XR so can’t comment.It’s a bit thicker than I’d like and I would have liked the thinner bezels.

And so it came to pass that the time arrived to replace her ladyship's ageing iPhone 6, and after much research the iPhone XR Red seemed to fit the bill. Arrived on time - thanks to an efficient Very delivery process over the Xmas period. Trying to swap over the settings from the old to the new phone proved a bit of a faff - oh, how much fun did we not have, since she'd never backed up her old phone and the iCloud account was full of junk, so that didn't work. Eventually I installed iTunes to her laptop, backed up her old phone, then restored this backup to the new phone from this backup. Fortunately, it worked well. You Android people are probably laughing at this point - I'm strictly Android too but was cursing until I managed to conquer the Apple Dark Side.

This is a great iPhone. The (close to) edge to edge screen is great for video and the stereo speakers are fantastic. Speakers are an area where Apple are really excelling in their mobile and laptop ranges. The LCD screen isn’t noticeably worse than an LED if you’re the type who dims it to save battery life anyway, which incidentally is better than any iPhone I’ve had in recent years. On low power mode, you could push it out for almost two days on light use. The camera is very good, although the portrait mode will look noticeably fake to any photographers who have shot with real low depth of field. It’s a shame this doesn’t have 3D Touch or a fingerprint sensor, but the phone still performs well.

Firstly the facial recognition is sooo much easier. For those of you who have issues with it unlocking . Reset the recognition in a dull lit room.This phone is awesome ! Not really one for bragging about phones but this phone literally has everything you need and would expect for the price .I’ve owned all the iPhones under 8 and Samsung’s under 9 . This is by far the best phone.When I opened the box I was like woah this phone is a beast ! It’s pretty big ! Il upload a pic so you can see the size compared to an Xbox one controller ha. However after a day or two you get used to the size and you even like the size . The screen and clarity is just pure ! I can’t fault this phone .

i've been an Android user for the last 6 years and just had endless problems and thought enough is enough and once i saw the XR and the specs, like everyone else i laughed and asked who would want this phone? It wasn't until i went into the Apple Store that i saw the build quality and the screen and was blown away...how on earth is this screen only 828p? It looks sharp and gorgeous.I went for the White 64GB model which looks the best out of all of models in my opinion. The black front and the white back is like a storm trooper phone. Looks really nice and feels really nice in the hand. The new gestures are amazing, once you get used to them you can't go back.

Best phone in the world without a double. The blue colour is absolutely beautifully amazing, and the phone feels really nice and smooth in your hand. Because if the glass back the phone is not slippery in your hands so you have a really good grip. This IPhone XR is £250 cheaper then the iPhone XS, and it does just about everything the XS does. The home button design is out of this world and the fact the new lcd screen stretches into the corners makes it unbelievably stunning. The screen quality is great. The camera is so amazing. The phone is a bigger size which is great. The phone is lightning fast and responds ultra fast. And the Face ID feature is stunning.

Only had it a few days after upgrading from an iPhone 6 Plus. The XR is quite a huge upgrade when it comes to the speed of everything running, camera quality, security, screen quality and resolution. It feels better made and more durable all around, plus the glass screen is advertised as the strongest on the market.People might be tempted to overlook this model in favour of the XS or XS max due to them having OLED screens, unlike the XR using advanced LCD. However, let me please stress that the actual quality on the XR is very impressive and is a bigger sized screen than the XS and packed with all the same hardware just about as both the XS and XS Max. Do yourself a favour, if you are considering this model,

The phone is bigger than the XS but retains all the good stuff. It's a solid phone with incredible battery life. The camera is as good and only lacks the zoom lens, which most people never use anyway. The screen is great, with great accurate colours. I am not used to OLED however and like LCD as a whole.The phone itself is quite large and thick (the latter is great for battery life) so I would recommend seeing one in person before purchase. It sits in between the XS and XS Max sizes. It is a fractionally smaller in size than 6/7/8 Plus phones but with a larger screen due to small edges.I was most worried about 3D Touch but they added similar long-presses for most convenient 3D Touch actions.

This is a great phone, the battery life is superb, the screen although just over 720 resolution is really good, putting it next to the 6s plus you really can’t notice any difference in face sometimes text actually looked a little better on the XR, the camera is also superb and really good in low light, it really makes shooting at night a pleasure, although some are saying it’s a downgrade I disagree, it is overpriced for what you get 599 would be a more realistic price, I got mine for that price thanks to a 150 quid voucher, even 650 would be a reasonable price but 750 is to much, unless of course you are rolling in cash in which case you would maybe buy the Xs plus, however that thing is huge,

I didn’t want to upgrade my phone through the usual mobile phone providers and end up paying about £70 a month for two years to get the same amount of data as I was used to. So buying the new iPhone XR on 12 months, interest free, buy now pay later through Very made much more sense to me and I am so glad I did. The XR is a big upgrade from the 6, both physically and functionally, so much faster and the Face ID is really good, it just seems to make everything a bit more streamlined. The camera is excellent too and though I’m not a big photographer, I can already see a big difference with the XR’s bigger lens and the extra light it lets in, not to mention the extra pixels it has over the 6.

Upgraded from iPhone 6s Plus. I have had this iPhone XR, for a week (purchased 16/07/2020) now and so far it has delivered on my expectations and that on the description! Took a short while to get use to the fact that there is no home button to press and the fact that the earphones for the XR does not have a jack plug-in, rather the earphone plug-in is the same as the square end plug-in of the iPhone charger...Photo quality on this phone is absolutely superb!! ( see pics that I took of my garden flowers) I Purchased the 128gb, Coral colour, simply because that is my name. All in all, this is a good size phone, and whilst it is a considered purchase,

Bought just before my holiday and it was just the ticket. Photos and panos plus portraits look stunning. Good looking phone too but I always cover in a case and screen protector. As fingerprints and scratches just appear otherwise without invitation. Black is king for me and a good capacity in my case 128gb. Super fast and responsive to use and the sound is amazing. Price point was the cheapest on the market at the time I bought. And getting on buy now pay later allows time to pay it off before interest sets in on the date specified. Buy it by all means the new 11 I believe only has a few features that are different and all phone are relevant right now so for great battery life and all round good features that will last at least two to three years go for this phone XR!

The XR 64GB may be lower down the price scale than the majority of iPhones, with only the new SE below it now, but that does not mean the XR is in any way cheap or inferior. The trademark Apple quality is evident in every aspect. It's smooth, powerful and takes superb photos. The LCD screen may not be OLED but it's beautiful all he same. The overall dimensions are in the same ball-park as the older 7 / 8 Plus models size-wise and in the hand feels similar.In the box you get the charger, USB cable, lightning earpods and the SIM removal pin.Perhaps a little controversially I have to say that though any iPhone is relatively expensive, you do get the quality you pay for. I love my new phone & all the features I upgraded from 6s and I’m so happy I didn’t fork out much more for Xs Max because the Xr highly impressed me It has everything I want from a phone I don’t get to hung up on the minimal technical feature differences. I love the camera have no issues with it. I love the LCD screen. The only thing I will say is it’s big in my rather small hands and it’s heavier than my old phone but it’s worth it because I love the big screen For videos shopping etc.. imho it’s the best phone on the market in terms of value esthetics and features. For the price it’s a gem of a phone.
